  • I was watching this for the first time high with my Filipino friend who showed this to me. LMFAO!!!

  • @CyberMan14 Does that make it better?

  • @poolboyinla Very! Especially when you suddenly came out with "Golden Brown" after the dialogue! Thats brilliant! BTW apparently that's not how you make traditional adobo, according to my friend (Don't shoot the messenger, just saying!)

  • @CyberMan14 Hopefully it is still enjoyable without drugs. Also, your friend is wrong. There are many styles of adobo. It varies by region as well as by the person cooking. There is no one definitive way or style of adobo. In other words, there is no right or wrong way to make adobo. This is just my style. I recommend you try them all and decide which one you like best. It all a matter or personal preference.

  • @apushoot Watch din ako. Hehehe.

  • @apushoot What did they say about it?

  • @poolboyinla "Ang Pinaka" is a tv program here in Philippines wherein they list down the TOP 10 of everything under the sun – fashion, music, politics, current issues, nightmares, showbiz and other aspects of everyday and not so everyday life. Ang Pinaka covers it all. Last night, their topic is about viral/famous videos on youtube. and you rank # 7or # 6, sorry if i forgot the rankings. :D

  • @apushoot Thanks for the info. Hopefully you also enjoy my other videos.

  • nice nasa show ng "Ang Pinaka" ang video mo kuya ^___^

  • @SuperMichmon I am far from random.

  • Woah. o_o You... learned tagalog from CDs? Wow. Just wow. xD Considering you're from the US, and you actually chose to learn Tagalog... wow. So, what inspired you to learn Tagalog? :D

  • DERP O.O

  • Thanks! I know that makes sense. Maybe I'll just talk to him in Tagalog! :) keep up the great videos! God bless!

  • Ur accent made me laugh but NICE!

  • apawt na pirawsong manak!! lol

  • Wow! That's great! My hubby has Roseta Stone's software but he hasn't done it in a while. There's hope then. Keep up the good work! God bless!

  • @tenfourcat Rosetta Stone isn't very good in my opinion. Also, to really learn it well, he is going to have to spend a significant amount of time in the Philippines where he would be forced to use it. That is what really makes you learn. It is near impossible to learn a foreign language in America, because you don't really need to use it.

Anyway, hope you also enjoy my other videos. Thanks for watching.

  • I think it's cute hearing an American speak Tagalog. Wish my hubby could speak Tagalog and cook adobong manok! Thank you for the tutorial! God bless! :) btw, where and how did you learn to speak Tagalog?

  • @tenfourcat Mostly language CD's.

  • ang sarap sarap

  • @MeatSauceLova You know it.

  • This guy's tagalog is terrible. But dude so much props to him for doing it big. A wonderful recipe. Keep up the good shit dude.

  • @monkeyslayer45 It's pretty awesome considering I am from America. I don't go around saying people that live in other countries speak terrible English.

  • @poolboyinla Dude you're awesome. I got Filipino friends who can't speak Tagalog as well as that. Nor cook Adobo at all. Sorry if my previous post came out a little mean.

  • @monkeyslayer45 Glad you enjoyed it.

  • My ADOBO has no Onions..Just Garlic,Laurel,Black Pepper at Fresh Chili.

  • Nice cookin' dude!!! You are trully amazing!

  • @PatriciaAndalisMusic aww...you are so sweet. Thank you for that!

  • love this!

  • Are u Filipino by blood or just by heart? :)

  • When was the last time u visited MI? I'm from there.

  • @miranee1 Last time I was there was 20003. That's when I graduated from Eastern Michigan University.

  • You people!! are you seriously criticizing Travis' accent. Really? was he born in the Philippines? Did he grow up speaking the language?

Imagine the American people criticizing Pacquiao's horrible English pronunciation/accent. Would u love that? Watch Pacquiao's Cribs video. Tell him to work on saying "eggs" right. Instead of pronouncing it " iggs. " LOL

Anyway, I love u Travis. Keep it up! Funny video.

  • @miranee1 Thank you for supporting me.

  • @poolboyinla do u have tumblr? :)

  • @miranee1 No I don't. I have heard about that, but I don't exactly know what that is.

  • @poolboyinla its a blog platform that's noob friendly. :)

  • @miranee1 I mainly stick to youtube and a few other sites like flickr.

  • @poolboyinla is this really u? lol. You reply so quickly. Thanks. :)

  • Its even funnier when pilipinos try to speak english

  • Keep on working on your tagalog!

  • @RandomProductionsX1 Keep watching my videos!

  • kala ko hindi sya maronong mag tagalog..hahaha

  • I gotta give this guy points for effort! LOL! XD

  • 69 people don't like adabang manak.

  • ayan! Handah na ng adobong manak! hahah I love you Travis XD

  • @TheyCallMeKaida Glad to hear that. You are so sweet.

  • haha this is cute!!! You're good in speaking Tagalog :p

  • Very Good Job on Your Tagalog :D

  • No such thin as American adobo....

  • @Rasaman184 - There is now.

  • Hmm, here's a tip when pronouncing words; try using short syllables and don't use long syllables...

idk if it helps but yeah, your words seemed to stretch at times.

Good effort though. You deserve a cookie.

  • Ang geleng mow megseleta ng telega..

  • Ayus ang buto buto... eyos eng bowtu bowtu....

  • hi could you tell me where you got the language cd's? i am trying to learn tagalog and have not come across any tagalog cds online at all! i want to teach my son asmy husband is Filipino but is unable to speak just understand. i would really appreciate it if you could give me any tips on finding a way to learn it! thanks!

  • @TaekwondohChick I recommend the ones from Berlitz. Those are the best in my opinion. Don't waste your time or money with Rosetta Stone.

  • masaarap yan sure

  • adobong manak hahahahahhaha

  • i bet he knows more tagalog than most of the filipino kids in america lol

  • nice one for manak!! good job for ur cooking and effort! =D

  • that looks delish but it would taste better if you eat it with some rice :)

  • And how does it taste? You can add a little bit of sugar to balance its acidity or might as well you want it a little bit sweeter. Is your pepper ground or cracked? Cracked Peppercorns have much strong flavor than the ground one.

  • hahaha. Your super cute speaking in Tagalog. haha.:) loved it! i just clicked subscribe.;)

  • igat kaayo emung tagalog travis...

  • Wow! We filipino's appreciate how you speak tagalog!
