  • Can you play gamecube games with the.Wii remote? Like with a Wii.classic controller hooked to the Wii.remote

  • @tayia35 If that would work on the wii, then It would work on the Emulator :)

  • Thank you very much

  • If I buy the Nyko Wireless Sensor Bar for Wii I can play games like Mario galaxy with the pointer?

  • @TexasBoyCapCity Yes it will work no problems at all.

  • I just tried to pair my wiimote and it says connected in dolphin but all the bottom lights just keep flashing and it doesn't recognise in the actual game..

  • I just tried pairing up my Wii remote to Mac, but it doesn't do anything?

It says it's connected but when the intro says to 'Press A', I press it and nothing works?

  • @Merindathestar Your computer has a bluetooth device installed and activated right?

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster It started working!

Do you know an alternative way to control the screen/remote without using a sensor bar?

    Thank you! :)

  • @Merindathestar 2 Candles placed apart from each other by about 20 cm.

That will make the IR light which will let it work fine, the candles need to be the same height. if your desperate to see it work sometimes you can point your remote towards your window and you might get some response but it's not practical.

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster Candles? As in wax - fire candles?

  • @Merindathestar Yes Fire candles, not responsible if your whole house catches fire.

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster Oh okay.

    Thank you!

  • thnx

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster Can it work with out an bluetooth device ??

  • @TheSkarsky Yeh you can use keyboard/mouse to control the game but its not as fun obviously. If you have a jailbroken iPhone/itouch then there is a wiimote emulator which will control you dolphin emulator as if you have a wii remote.

  • Ok man that's ok I found out that I just have to press cmd+F xD

  • Hey man nice video! Please help. On my 27 inch iMac when I put the game in fullscreen mode there's no way to get out of fullscreen and I have to turn off my mac. How do you exit fullscreen mode? Thanks :)

  • hi i woud like to know if you can help me when i download the dolphin and i extract to the desktop this error apears locale 'es_MX' cannot be set how can i solve it? i will apreciate your answere

  • @victorfrommorelia It may be to do with your graphics, tho literally google the file which it claims is missing and you will probably find you need to download a file. You either put that file in system32 or the installation directory.

  • is there a possiblity, that the bluetooth device is already built in my laptop?because it has a bluetooth icon on the down right.it actually recognized the wiimote, but the wiimote didnt stay activated, like yours did when it worked.so is it normal, that it dont work immediatly?should i try multiple times, and sometime it will work?

  • @danitabori Yes it is installed. The connection if iffy at best on a windows machine... As you saw in my video lol. Just try altenatring between connect and refresh until you get a break through.

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster ok,thanks for the surprisingly fast reply ^^

    ill keep trying.

  • Hey there, I'm on a Mac.

I figured out how to get the wiimote to connect and all that, the buttons all seem to work fine, but I assume you need the sensor bar to be able to play games that require motion sensing?

I'm hoping to play some Skyward Sword, which requires Motion Plus (I have motion plus with my controller too, but no sensor bar), and I was just wondering if there's a way to configure Dolphin to pick up the motion?

    Thanks for any help!

  • @drearybird All the motion stuff will work fine without a sensor bar. You won't be able to point at things like on the wii menu for example. a third party sensor bar will do the job as will two candles half a foot apart from each other.

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster r u serius ?HOW IS A CANDL GONNA RECIEVE THE SIGNAL?

  • @1guitarherolegend If you put 2 candles (lit) near each other it makes an infared signal which is basically the same as the wii sensor bar, Your wii remote would do the exact same thing.

  • @1guitarherolegend The sensor bar doesn't need a signal all it is is 6 IR LED's which emit the same electromagnetic frequencies as most flames. sooo yeah....

  • Oh Im a mac

  • Wait so you need the wii sensor for games like Zelda or anything that you swing the remote right?? How do u set it up?? (Btw is it a wireless sensor?) Thanx

  • @camUmac1

Just once the remote is working all the moving will work. e.g.. Swinging the remote in wii sports tennis. But you will not be able to point the hand thingy at the screen.

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster Ohk thanx

  • WII SENSOR For mac? how do i get that to work?

  • @roughbrough96 There is no sensor for mac, there is a sensor for a wiimote. The wiimote sensor that plugs into the wii is simply to power the remote. You buy a third party sensor, put batteries in it and you don't have to set anything else up. It will work for the emulator...

  • Will the motion control work just with Bluetooth?

  • @atwal97 Yes it will work exactly the same. Only difference is you won't be able to point at your screen properly. Even this can be fixed by using either 2 candles or a third party sensor bar... Hell sometimes when I pint out the window it works for me.

  • bro i can`t conecct my wii remote.. i dont know wii....only install drivers and say hid blutooth installed and all leds off.. i push refresh refresh and nothing .. i try with bluesolei but nothing.. battery full.

  • @lllDarkLightlll Assuming you are using Windows, You have to press 1 and 2 on the controller and muck around with BOTH refresh and CONNECT. You will figure out eventually what works best for you.

  • where can i download those games for my mac

  • @sshothead aNY TORRENT WEBSITE WILL HAVE THEM, ISOHUNT ETC. mAKE SURE YOU HAVE A TORRENT CLIENT TO DOWNLOAD THEM.

(Sorry just realised I had caps on)

  • Is there a preferred graphic settings? My Kirby's Adventure has weird texture problems

  • @MistaFreeloader Depends On your GPU in ur computer. On a macbook etc, probably stick low. If you got a gaming computer like I had experiment, put it up slowly until you start stalling frames.

  • Using OSX, my Wiimote just keeps flashing

  • @MistaFreeloader Make sure you have bluetooth turned on under system settings...

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster On my OSX the bluetooth is on under system settings and its still just flashing blue light. note: when it is connected to the OSX it blinks non-stop and Dolphin does not recongize it.

  • @jboywer Assuming under system setting you have bluetoothe enabled, all the connecting to the remote is done under the dolphin settings. Watch the video carefully for when I do the macbook section. You should do exactly that

  • I HAVE A QUESTION HOW TO USE A WIIMOTE ON A DOLPHAN EMULATOR??! XD

  • @epiccade

Just how the video showed you. You will need something on your computer which allows you to use your PC with bluetooth.

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster sorry for the late reply, i tried bluesolil or whatever and that didnt work, then wiimote commander and that didnt work, can i get a name of what you used?

  • @epiccade Your computer does have a bluetooth device right?

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster uhh could you give an example plz, sorry for my stupidness, i know how to hack but this is too confusing

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster Oh is this a plugin sort of thing, like a flash drive or something? If so, couldnt i install the bluesoile (i dont know what its called!!) or bluetooth to a flash drive?

  • any other thing wii remote do for u ? or just playing can we use it like mouse?

  • Ohhh so the sensor bar is just another way to connect the Wiimote to your PC [IR instead of Bluetooth]? I'm learning, I'm learning ;)

  • Very helpful video. Why am I hearing that I need a sensor bar though from other Youtubers? Please reply. Can you get the Nunchuk to work with Dolphin as, erm, you need that for some games lol.

  • @ilsamiri7 Sorry for the late reply, Sensor bar is optional. Numchuck will work just fine.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH

  • @MemewGuides

No problem, Thank you for the support :)

  • you can use candals as a sensor bar, neat trick look it up :)

  • @FavoriteZac

Done it already, yeh it works, it really is just the remote sending the IR light. I can point the remote at my window an it will often work haha

  • can u do a tutorial how to config the wii remote or controller and how do u run smoothley without lagging or shutting down?? i use a mac book pro 4g of ram?? help

  • Hi, I used to be able to run Super Mario Wii at a good speed on my Macbook Pro i5 2,4 Ghz (2010). But now I upgraded to Lion OS X tand installed another build of Dolphin). And now mario and his friends run really slow in the beginning screen. Could you please write all your general, advanced and graphic settings in the description please? It's driving me nuts!

  • @Byzantic

Just start your settings at the lowest possible and work your way up. Turn of anti antialising, and put the resolution down. That should be a good starting point and work your way up slowly.

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster Well thanks for your SUPER FAST reaction :p

No, using an other built version made it work (Now i'm running on the normal 3.0 version)

  • @Byzantic Haha no problem. Generaly speaking I do all replies every month or so, Im quite busy. Yeh 3.0 Should suit ur mac well.

  • @Mattjjjj0hackmaster hey pls tell how ur pc running this game pretty fast pls reply man i love this game ..i have corei3 2.13ghz but in intel hd graphic windows7 32bit using ....2gb ddr3 ram ...windows 7 i m getting 20to25fps after changed settings onto dolphin 3.0 using pls tell what to do

  • @amitq99 Well I was running it at full speed and 3X the natural resolution of the wii with max AA. So it is going pretty perfect considering. I have a first Gen I7, Nvidia GTX 560 TI Hawk (By MSI) Grathics. And 6GB of DDR3 RAM. U big shortcoming is your grathics. Your not using a dedicated grathics card. Just onboard grathics card. My laptop you see in the video also has the intel intergrated grathics. But I have the settings way lower on that computer. I recomend trying both direct x 9 and 11.

  • @amitq99 hey thx for the reply but i already done what u r saying i mean direct x settings change n all that but still its not working like your pc doing is that u have any graphic card on your pc?

  • @amitq99 n i rate for u video thumbss up.....;)
