All they needed was to get the DMV lady to use the language of BEING the Assman, (rather than simply referring to plates that say "ASSMAN" on them) - and the scene was gold, Jerry. Gold!

Storylines like this are what makes Seinfeld the most entertaining TV show in history. No other show has ever come close to doing anything like this. Seinfeld has many such moments, e.g. massaged by a man, the contest, bubble boy, etc.

You didn't know about this? You can get license plates with almost whatever you want on them if you pay for it, they're called vanity plates. But i think you'll find ASSMAN is already taken by the proctologists.
