  • True!

  • I've been on the Trabant several times. Once in KC I happened upon the Cloudpoofer 2000, an indoor Wipeout. Unfortunately, I got sick on it but made it to the end without ruining others' rides. Just that one particular installation. My favorite older ride is the Octopus.

  • My all time favorite ride. This one needs some TLC.

  • damn dude my kind of ride! HELL YEAH

  • I went on one of those at the fair this summer, I HATED it, it and the Spider.

  • cé comme le hully gully

  • last time i rode 1 of these it collapsed on me -.-

  • looks like fun

  • i gotta ride that :o

  • Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk used to have this...and yes called "The Trabant".

  • knotts berry farm hahews a ride like that called wipeout. except the sseats face eachother so one person goes forwards and one backwards.

  • hully gully is one of the best flat rides,. wish they brought these wonders back

  • ok so check my channel i have a video of this ride only our operator was drunk and he like cracked all the way its craaazyyyyy (^-^)

  • That ride looks so fun... I wish they would just come back with a generation of ancient flat rides. Trabant, Rotor, Octopus, Rock-O-Plane, Sidewinder... I miss 'em all

No one needs a ride called the El Nino or Satan's B***h Slap

  • you forgot wipeout its a ride at knotts berry farm its like this one

  • I totally agree with you on Trabant, Rotor and Octopus. Thankfully, the likes of Round-Up/Meteorite are still continuing. The only one I wasn't too keen on though was the Rock-o-Plane.

  • That is SOOO not fair. The one I've been on about 100 times, simply goes forwards, up, then down, then suddenly stop. None of the variable speed changing and going backwards !!!! RAWR! Can you post a full video of this ride, if you can?

  • Sorry, I don't have a full video.

However, I'll probably get a full video next time considering how few Trabant videos are on YouTube.

  • When's next time? Also, true about the 'few' bit... and if they are, it's usually a really crappy soundless video recorded on the lowest quality mobile phone camera possible, and lasting about 10 seconds <_<

  • Like next year. lol

Around April is when fairs and carnivals start happening again around here.

  • @theultimatekoopa2 Yeah who ever is operaterating this ride...Sure knows how to bring out the full potential of the machine..really knows how to screw with people and make this ride fun!!! Most operater of the rides are just lazy and do the basics and in 3 mins the ride is over...

  • We had one of the first ones back in the 60's at Palisades Amusement Park. I worked there for years.

  • Wow. I've always wanted to ride an original trabant ride like this once. Unfortunately, there aren't any of these out west.

  • these rides are becoming increcingly rare

  • That's what I thought last year when I saw a travling Trabant. However since then I've seen at least three different ones traveling aorund the NJ/NY area!
