If you care about your data or pc reliability, do NOT do this to your SATA cable. It may look nice, but sharp bends can jeopardizet the integrity of the cable.

Hey does anybody know where i can get straight SATA-II connector ends that i can use to cut my cables to custom lengths? Most of them are hot-pressed on, but i need a bag of my own connectors that i can crimp on myself.

That's because twisted the wires a lot causes the wired inside the plastic tube to strip and disconnect.

Twist a paper clap a lot and eventually it wares down and snaps.
