  • This song kicks ass, has that early 90s hard rock metal sound with horns at the end nice!

  • Comment removed

  • This song cuts out just as their getting into it!

    I wants more horns.

  • A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!

  • I love my generation's music, I used to feel bad for this generation but then I realize that their gift is not music but it is the internet.

  • Wow, Fishbone...I don't mind getting framed by Gaga, because, we could have been reading.... VEVO presents: Chris Brown- "Rhianna- I 'm sorry" -the song... WTF???"

I love this band since 199?.

    2011 Peace- Angelo

  • This is quite simply one of the most powerful rock music performances I have ever seen. These guys manage to make Living Colour seem a bit mundane, which I would normally think to be impossible.

  • Chris Dowd, the guy that's singing has some new music coming out. The group is called the Ultra Infidels. There's a youtube clip called Ultra Infidels Sampler Platter.

  • Fishbone IS life !

  • i will kill lady gaga with a fish bone while listening 2 fishbone

  • f lady gaga, she ruins the video with her border around the my fishbone

  • Hard to believe that this song is twenty years old.

  • lady gaga in my fishbonez yo' .-.

  • love it

  • Yup....Fishbone, Living Color, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Primus are my type of music! Music can't get any better than this! I feel so bad for kids today for listenning shitty music!

  • I'm a huge fishbone lover. I can't help but feel that fishbone contains elements of self destruction - nudity on stage, dildos, foul language, debasing women. These elements mixed in with often idealistic themes makes a weird soup that is both positive and negative - no wonder it couldn't hold together. I heard a guy on Skid row who spoke about Fishbone's genius being something from God. I think Truth and Soul was both their musical and spiritual peak.

  • @fatmanredemption

I regret that I have but one thumbs up to give.

  • "Man, you know what? We gotta tell these people we got a video for this song! A video, comin' out soon! Fight the Youth With Poisoned Minds by Fishbone! Call MTV and say, if you don't play Fishbone, I'm gonna come to your house, and SCREW YOUR DOG!!" - Angelo Moore.

  • Stop fucking bitching about vevo and enjoy the fucking music

  • FUCK VEVO! I WANT MY FISHBONE GAWD DAMIT!!

  • fuckin great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bring back awesome memories. Fishbone forever!!

  • I was at this gig!

    London Astoria 1991

  • @simes205 So was I. Never heard of them before, got dragged along by a mate. Gobsmacked. Never seen that much energy and stage presence before or since. Awesome. d'Angelo stage diving from the balcony? Horns flying through the air? Non stop skanking? Best gig ever.

  • I like iCarly and everything but... the commercial for her music should NOT be on here.

  • SO fierce! @2:00 = wake up or fk off you wankers of our own fan base...

REALITY OF MY SURROUNDINGS was and is an incredible sonic and lyric adventure, and criminally underrated ---get this disc kids.

  • you don't find many black rock bands anymore. sure, they exist, but it's more rare. they don't play white rock music now that they are in control of the music industry. some bands have a token oreo "raised in the suburbs" black man, but that's about it.

  • I've always felt that black groups who hit on rock play it much better than most white artist. They are coming from a sound whites try to go but aren't very successful.I saw Fishbone in concert in1986 in Houston. The concert was nothing like you see in this video. They were part of a music festival that featured all black artist. My brother and I were about the only whites there.I went out and bought their cassette that featured "when problems arise." I immediately fell in luv with this group.!

  • Baddest band ever, bar none!

  • 2:03 That face

  • Why all the hate for VEVO? I run Firefox and Adblock Plus and I never get any video ads or anything like that. Am I missing something?

  • @Clownblood yo tambien por chrome

  • @cassiasdad87 YOU SUCK BALLS, this video was done around 1991', this band has more influence than you with a free hooker and a hand full of ruffies!

  • @xeridian

Right on!!! Fishbone is an incredible band ..love them...saw them in concert 1986 at the Fresh Fest in Houston....

  • Thanks VEVO

  • Dear Vevo, Let me start by saying get your corporate asses off YouTube! Ever since these big companies started paying off YouTube so they could post their freaking videos we can't post ours. We are flagged for infringement every time we include a song we like in our videos.

This is YOUtube, the place where we can post OUR videos. If we wanted to listen to music from you wed go to your damn website. To all people who want greedy corporates gone copy and paste this to vevo vids

  • You don't know music if you can't get with these guys...journeymen they are to say the least...they have survived so much throughout the changes in music. Loved their music from the 80's...and this jam here is a perfect display of the heartbeat of Fishbone....Funky, a lil metal flavor, with a lil tight jazz mix....That is Fishbone!!!!!

  • fight the shitty music industry nowadays.

  • if this is how they play all their songs live, i think i would explode from awesomeness

  • @brosssoul roflmao! Welll Said Dammit!!!

  • seenin them in feb. wit slightly :)

  • Love Fishbone!

  • forgive them for they know not what they say and it doesn't matter. Fishbone and Living Colour are 2 of the all time best american rock bands. Little Richard, Jimi Hendrix and many other brothers opened the door.

  • Fishbone...reunite!

  • @bchwarrior: have you heard music nowadays?

  • @bch warrior -- wow, clueless and proud of it. squawk on, dude.

  • ...

    They suck!

  • @TheQuantomX u suck

  • @wendogg

    You swallow.

  • @TheQuantomX i'm not gonna get into a shouting match with u about who does what....just remember to shut the fuck up when u dont know what u are talkin bout. now go back to your corner little boy

  • @wendogg

Oh wow. So you are still sent to the corner.

Awe, are you going to go cry to mom now?

  • @TheQuantomX STFU...now if u respond back to this u are even more STUPID than i thought u were...im done with u little boy

  • what is vevo?

some kind of itunes for hipseters or what?

  • very 90"s living color wanna be's!!! Like them though!! The 90's possibly the worst time for music across the board!!!

  • @bchwarrior45 these guys have been together since way before Living Colour was even thought about< iF it wasnt for bands like Bad Brains And Fishbone, Living Color would have never existed.

  • @bchwarrior45 The fact that you are not aware that Fishbone preceded Living Colour by several years just demonstrates how under-promoted they were by Columbia, the mainstream music press and MTV. They just didn't fit into the mold of what they thought music played by "black folk" should sound like.

"Fishone leapt from a great height...Did you catch them?"

  • @bchwarrior45 - Fishbone PRECEEDED Living Colour by MANY years... If I remember correctly Fishbone formed in 1978 and Living Colour has played shows with them before. Both bands are/were members of the BRC (Black Rock Coalition).

Fishbone, so to speak, opened the door for bands such as Living Colour.

  • @TheAural Yep..I think Fishbone hit around 1978/79.... Got strong in the late 80's...

  • @TheAural Indeed indeed. Remember Mothers finest?

  • there are more band members than people in the crowd.

  • It is FISHBONE enough said !

  • great tune. excellent band. horribly annoying video...

  • Just good tuneage! These guys are tight!

  • God I can't believe I just now heard of these guys

  • @Zaimk Welcome aboard!

  • This is when they were playing with bands like Primus,

  • i thought this was suposed to be ska?

  • their early stuff was ska

  • oh yeah cause this is kinda wierd music that their playing

  • I cant wait to see them tonight!

  • @labarriomusic4life

You are too lucky!!! BUT, I saw them in the 80s, general seating with Red Hot Chilli Peppers, RUN DMC and George Clinton. You still are lucky though!! Hope you have a great time.

  • So Sick....These guys get down!!!
