You will have a ball mate,wish I could go again now!Not much advice I can give on camera equip except,bring at least twice as much memory as you think you will need or your laptop. Clothinhg should be layers of warm clothing.good wellies are vital as freezing feet bring misery.I used the whitr wellies as used by fish/meat factory workers.get the ones with green soles as they are better insulated than the blue. try 3 pairs oh gloves with the inner fingerless and the outer water resistant.ENJOY
This was inspiring - I am visiting the Antarctic in a couple of weeks and wish I could get some tips on camera equipment, clothes, zodiacs etc.
