XBOX 360 Elite freezing

I have this problem but my xbox runs fine without my hard drive so it must be a hard drive problem.

i had the same problem basically your motherboard inside is fucked (overheated) therefore burning its insides out. Your CPU has become loose therefore meaning you get this problem

It only happens When i go only it freezes 5 sec ater the dashboard screen ??

No. I just sent it in to Microsoft for warranty repair. Check out my past comment about the 3 red lights

Just got the same issue on my elite today. Was on froza last night np, watched a dvd no prob, watched netflix np. Bought my gf the new scene it game and we tried to play it this morning and my elite does same shit. Guess i'll look forward to my first rrod after 2 years of trouble free playing..sigh

dude same thing but it happens when i start a game except the big fuzzy part dosent some up only the fuzzy part with the strips

i think thats a gpu issue there which leads to the RROD

Yeah, I got it 3 days later. I called M$ and they are repairing it for free. I almost paid them to fix the frozen screen, which was "out of warranty repair". But the 3 red lights was covered! Whatever, I'm blaming all future issues on the 3 red lights.
