this inst magic folk ...all u are doing is flopping the phase of the left or right side in hopes that u will cancel the phase information of the center image which in most pop music is the vocals.....................not all music is mixed this way so if u are still experiencing the vocal after u inverted the phase then chances are it inst panned up the center....google audio phase if u are clueless

might help a lot, considering then we don't have to worry about those parts of the audio that may not be the same on both left and right causing phase problems. (when a wave is not exactly lined up with another, it is said to be out of phase and interacts with the other to make a new wave, thus a new sound) with this technique it cancels the vocals and keeps the rest. The kid had the concept down, and I applaud the intelligence. Any and ALL software that does this job uses phase cancellation.

Yeah, it inverts the voice signal and add over the non-inverted signal for sure. AND over all the reminiscent tracks, (by the way songs are recorded track by track) so you lose a billion of frequencies, there has shadows of the vocals and your final audio sucks. That's it.

All of this depends on how the song is mixed, actually. All this does is put the two tracks out of phase. So, in many cases this won't work, and even if it does, it'll just make the song sound a whole lot different.
