  • here in duluth MN(MN has some wacko killing peopl and suicide issues too....one example a meth dealer who was busted twice also with gun was not revoked from the military....the military is not a party palce or a place to deal drugs

  • part 2...it is sick for americans to praise and pat on the back those that come back shooting up people beating them while those that got blown up,burnt, ect that arent harming anyone sit somewhere with no help because all the time money and effort is wasted on criminal types....support the real heroes, not the ones who cant handle partying...why am i also hearing/getting info that some over in irag where doing just that, drug traffiking again like nam?gov didnt do that-certain people got in did

  • not all victims of PSTD kill, beatup, ect innocent people-these PSTDers have another issue, its like the soreloser sydrome person gets fired from their job they go back and sabotage the workplace in someway, sorry no pity and its time PHDS and MDS stop doing experiments on random citizens and screwing up more people to make exucuses for these people who wig out....read part 2

  • The new leaf Programme

  • why do these people always look so happy in these videos???id love to be able to smile and talk like that but for some reason i cant...

  • As far as I can tell Canadian soldiers are still ostracized if they claim PTSD.

I saw an article on the news.

  • Anyone can get PTSD, rape victims would be typical. I was diagnosed by Dr. Lawrence C. Kolb, Distinguished Physician in Paychiatry. After he retired as head of NYS Dept of Mental Health he tried to work with the VA and share his findings. He even had a machine to determin PTSD and how severe it may be.I believe Kolb was too honest to work with the VA. Their interest is to turn down any claim they can, yet keep up the image that they want to help vets. Kolb was a real Doctor.

  • lease watch my PTSD - The War Within : News Story

i am doing as much as i can, to get recognition for this illness and how it affects the soldiers!

  • Your reward for de-compartmentalizing your mind is:::: Hieghtened alertness, hieghtened senses, Full/partial control of subconscious function, creativity & visualization attributes, & even in some rare cases ESP. Yes, by regaining control of your frontal lobe & rebooting your Amygdala, you become genius level & you taste, smell, hear, see things much clearer than average humans. I have precognition which can be contributed by infancy PTSD. Precognition has been proven by reputable sciences.

  • What happens scientifically is a tripped trigger of fight or flight response in the Amygdala, which disables frontal lobe activity... The government purposefully program you to shut off 40% of brain functions. This makes you a mindless drone. By accessing memory in your subconscious will reopen these doors holding in trauma, when you do, you awaken to a world of REALITY, as the government has been doing this since MKULTRA. As most even without trauma have been indoctrined/compartmentalized

  • Look at there hand movements, how can they be trying to help you when they are clearly trying to program you??? They teach you to suppress your emotions, yet science proves there is NO memory without an emotional tag. Infact, there is no logical hemisphere when all responses are determined by emotional outcome. If you hold it all in, you are very sick.. You must stand up & fight this, you must hold your government accountable for what is nothing short of manipulation & lies.

  • They blatantly lie to you. "Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy" --Henry Kissinger.. You see, i am infancy PTSD. American society indoctrinates you into compartmentalizing your mind. Chances are you will NEVER de-compartmentalize do to the fact that Freud filed the American mind away. If you dont want to get better, keep listening to the corrupt paradigm of modern Psychology & drug induced psychiatry which will assist you in compartmentalizing.

  • anyone who has experienced some sort of trauma can suffer from PTSD, from car accidents to child abuse...but whatever the cause, its horrible for the sufferers.

  • I'm currently flagged because of MedPros because of PTSD

  • PTSD can happen to anyone where a significant Emotional or tramatic event occurs, either real or imagined. Things like combat, rape, or accidents are some of the more common causes. It happens because of the way the brain operates.................. People it happens to are normal............. It can be treated without medication ............. I am not an a doctor and make no claims (legal phrase)

  • can ya link this shitto lariam? the answer is yes.- tafenaquine? im still only a guinea pig on that one. I am not ashamed and never will be brainwashing is one thing bieng forced to take experemental drugs is another somehow I know my good friend died because of it . the public will find out about this and when they know the whole facts shit will go down bigtime.

  • does not seem that way to me

  • Comment removed

  • i got it whilst clipping my toenails.FACT!!

  • what ur saying is im the problem

  • "War and the Soul" - Tick, ISBN: 083560831X

  • Have they addressed Rape Related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, RR -PTSD Where women have a flashback and are not in reality not being "been" assaulted?

  • @b29349 yes that is reliving it. that is flashback, smells sounds and being stuck in the memory

  • The Colonel (Jonathan Jaffin, M.D) is trying to use "alot of us remember from our days playing high school sports, getting our bells rung" as an escape route for soldiers reporting what is really the affects of PTSD in the field and war. So, thus, they can and will use this "getting your bells rung or knocked unconsience in high school" as the cause. Such balogne tactics. Its a wonder there are approx. 290,000 homeless U.S vetarns on our streets.

  • @7514328 Yes people with PTSd become homeless due to ignorance and apathy. Misdiagnosis and sheer shame and fear too!!! I think when they become addicts it only worsens things. The addiction because the focus and they are tossed aside.

  • look at vietnam vets. you wanna be like that?

  • PTSD stands for Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. DUHHH

  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder u mean

  • yea. lol sorry

  • PTSD = Psychiatric injury.

It's good people surviving bad situations and needing help to heal.

    Nothing to be ashamed of.

  • @eventide925 yup bad things happening to good people.

  • Thanks a lot for the help 47patriot I'll try to check it out!

  • For some reason people seem ti think only soldiers get PTSD.

I've had it in the past and I'm only 14.

  • @MetalGearNaked its just because it happens mostly to soldiers. My uncle ahd it and he wasnt a soldier.

  • @MetalGearNaked PTSD can effect anyone at any age. :(

  • @MetalGearNaked

yeah thats true, many of us maybe could have it, some people think thats a 'normal' condition so they aint get help well

  • @MetalGearNaked ive had PTSD since i was 11 and im 19 now

  • @MetalGearNaked i been sexualy abuse by my dad incest i got it too

  • It's nice how you Americans can deal with your problems with analysis, but we in Iraq had nothing related to that, If American soldiers had PTSD within only 5 years, what about the Iraqis who suffered for more than 40 years of everyday conflicts, my father is one of the people that have severe PTSD that affected his family and his whole life too, I wish that I would find a solution to cure him, he is a dentist, artist and was so successful...

  • You will find the cure for living well again after trauma in my memoir of a Navy Corpsman entitled FLASHBACK:Vietnam: COVER-UP PTSD by Alan C. Thomas, HMCM/USN Ret. You can read the first 50 pages of my memoir (FREE) on Goggle Book Search. I requested that Google post a virtual copy of my book, so my fellow humans suffering with PTSD can read about the successes of EMDR therapy, which await them. EMDR allowed me to write about how to heal from the trauma of war.

  • buhdist meditaion helped me so much.. tell him to look into it

  • I was wondering if bad experinces with family member could cause PTSD to where you chew out your family for the littlist of things !

  • PTSD is natural and certainly nothing to be ashamed of. You might be more susceptible to it than others, but that is likely to be because you are a deeper thinker and have a better understanding of suffering, which is itself a quality. For example, you may be more empathic and have a more creative than destructive nature. Warfare, thankfully, is not meant for everyone. If you suffer from PTSD, get away from it and think back to what else you wanted to be in life and try to find peace. Good luck!

  • All due to my Army service. BURN in Hell all the Military Doctors , Phychs and medical staff who want to sweep the diggers under the rug.

  • amen. fn army trys like hell no to dignose ptsd.

  • Thats Bullshit!! The last thing any Military wants is to diagnose someone with PTSD. It also means paying them out at the time of their discharge . From my on experience my own doctors and Phych's went to great efforts to fob my symptoms off as some type of" phychosis" . I later got to shove their false diagnoses up the *rse when I went to see my own doctors(not army) and I was diagnosed with PTSD, Anxiety disorder, Major depressive disorder.

  • Dont expect any help when you leave the army if your British

  • Yes soldeirs come first...Does any one know what ptrp privates go threw! MOst soldiers and militaray personal get an ego about ptrp soldeirs yes we got hurt here in our homeland, ...In PTRP life is not simple and seargents who did tours in Iraq tell us this is nothing...the ego kicks in, we are in pain do to our injurys and stuck in PTRP was extremly not pleasent...Do your reasche on PTRP privates, all I ask is to put your military pride and soldier Ego and listen and read about PTRP "prisoners

  • This is bull shit! I've seen many people given the boot asking for help.

  • Im fighting for Civilians & Soldiers to stop privatisation of counsil housing and the NHS from the right-wing bankers and right-wing Lab/Con/Lib politicians who sent our troops into harms way!

No more new wars after this!

With a socialised medi-care system soldiers & civilians who have shell shock wont be thrown back into civilian life without help!

  • nice video. i'm very glad to hear that it is treatable and that those poor soldiers don't have to suffer forever. good to know there is help for them.

  • Since youtube will not permit me to type in a website

Let me spell out a very usefull site. There is NO triple W in the address, type it out as it is but replace the "," with a period and add a com at the end lol

  • I must have done something wrong because it didn't work

  • true, even peeps from car crashes get PTSD. True that. Former USMC, MOS 0800, 98-03 OIF-1 al-Najaf

ar-"Nastyriya" Nasariyah. the most horribly worse experience of my young, or entire life.

  • Thanks 1SG for sharing your story with us that are atill suffering and giving us hope that we will get better. You are very brave for speaking up for us!! SGT Peacock OIF 1/2

  • Just the fact that the USA has a PTSD/TBI info video is a great start. I hope that soldiers, who seek help within the Army will not be "booted out" but compensated for sustaining injuries in the good fight. Please go to Google Book Search and read 60 pages of my memoir FLASHBACK:Vietnam:COVER-UP:PTSD. If you find it to be a good read; then please purchase a copy from one of the bookstore links there or from your locat bookstore.

  • Thank you for this very educational video. I've got a question: can a person suffer from PTSD due to different situations than war stress? Cheers.

  • Yes, PTSD can occur from any traumatic event - and trauma doesn't only occur during wars!

  • Thank you!

  • yes , you can suffer from PTSD from other situations than war stress.PTSD is mostly related to war. But there are a lot of situation people don't know that they can lead to PTSD

Moving to another country, violance at home, instability at home, "building your life again"....Situations that have a big impact on you...it's personal i think, the one gets used to it the other develops PTSD

  • yes of course, anything can trigger PTSD, go do a google search and read the symptoms...

ANY TRAUMATIC EVENT witnessed that caused intense fear or threatened bodily injury or death

  • yes people can suffer from PTSD due to attacks on the streets
