For those that owned this when they were growing up, I bet this was the cat's meow, and the next best thing to owning the actual arcade game. I remember buying the Atari 2600 cartridge years back, new in the box, and pre internet, me and everybody else that bought it felt really suckered. Thanks for sharing.
The ghosts dont go any faster or there isnt anymore of them? Its a bit crap. I dont remember it like that. I have a copy at home somewhere.,... probably, I hope.
Well, I think the one's in Ms. Pac-Man are the one's that go faster - all the others just seem to go a bit slow, anyways. But, I know it's a C64-but, on the Vic 20 - Cosmic Cruncher rules far more supreme that all the other "Pac-Man" games. Cosmic Cruncher owns!!!
In the arcade version, there are 4 ghosts and they all go the same speed.
However after about one minute time, the red ghost gets "angry" and he speeds-up faster than Pac-man can run. At that point you're screwed unless you know how to avoid the red ghost.
You can download this on c64 . com & run it on emulation. You may also be able to burn the rom image to diskette & run it on the original hardware. Just a thought. I could be wrong .
this looks very similar to the atari 5200 version

This rox! I think the screen looks WAY better than the more modern version on systems like Game Boy Advance. this deserves 5 stars!

This must have been a direct port from the Atari 5200

I can't believe I played the Atari 2600 version as a kid. What a piece of crap compared to the C64 version.
