I absolutely agree - I was almost hoping Hayley wouldn't win - now (hopefully) she'll have more time to develop her own sound and tunes. There's not doubt she's got a career ahead of her - and I certainly hope she records this song - I look forward to seeing her out there next year! My only complaint was that this version was so short, I suppose due to the show format & the number of performers that night - I can listen to this version over and over - like Dicko said, 'a delight'.

To be honest, not really. Sorry... I knew Hayley from her band through MySpace and that's how I got to follow her journey on Aus'Idol.

I think his performances are all up YouTube though (just without the judges' comments). If it's any consolation: he almost always has very positive comments from the judging pannel. :-)

I loved this performance. Hayley gave it everything, and she really tried to show us a different side to her - a brave thing to do - and I think it worked. I liked how she did this song differently from how it was originally performed, she made it sweet, more 'innocent', and quite introverted/personal.
