My idea is that when Olimar, the president and louie return to planet hoctate the lose all the 200 treasures (but not louie) so then the have to find the 200 treasures! becasue it is called Pikmin 3 you have three captims. There are still Red, purple, white, yellow & blue pikmin, but no bulbim becasue there is a new pikmin type that whitsands all hazards. So that pikmin 3
Mine is that olimar is given a new extended vacation to planet pikmin with pay by the president. Olimar convinces his wife to come and bring the children, and their dog bulbie. Upon arrival, u notice that they have knew space suits that resemble pikmin and pikpik carrots. The kids and the dog run out to explore, however, olimar and his wife didn't notice. They hear screaming and run to find that the Ravenous Space Bunny that louie was talking about turned out to be real, it kidnaps the kids.
Now Olimar must save his children, he calls Bulbie to his side(who has mechanics exactly like a bulbmin) and fights the space bunny, after beating it, the bunny flaps its ears, and flies off with the children. Olimar and Bulbie chases after it, but they run into a mother bulborb who had lost her baby, she mistakes bulbie for her baby, and carries him off. Soon after, a baby bulborb appears and runs from olimar.
After this happens, moving forward a little, the bulborb runs forward, uncovering a new onion which is green. Out comes a green seed, and when it is plucked, you are introduced to a small, green pikmin with many spines lining its back. Upon seeing the pikmin, the baby bulborb rushes towards it and eats it. After a few seconds, the baby bulborb starts to shake, and a leaf sprouts from its head, it just turned into a bulbmin! Now with this new ally, olimar moves on.
Now Olimar runs ahead, catching up with the bulborb, and attacks it with the bulbmin, he soon wins and bulbie is dropped. The baby bulbin runs to bulbies side(thinking that it is his mother) and follows him around. When you return to the landing site, olimars wife is gone, bulbie sniffs around, leading olimar to a giant rabbit foot print, the rabbit must have came back! Now you must save olimars family.
Now to introduce a new feature: During the day, the bulbmin you make, will not go in vain. Because now you can stay over night using bulbie! Bulbie acts as a captain, and a leader of the bulbmin, so you can now continue to explore during the night, There's a catch though, olimar still goes into orbit during the night, so you cannot use him or any other pikmin at night.
Also if bulbie howls to dwarf bulbears at night, he can control them like bulbmin, and they are immune to all hazards, can't be eaten, and have the speed and x ray vision of whites and power of purples. But they cannot be used during the daytime, only at night, while using bulbie. Also you will not be attacked by bulborb type enemies, and holding down be will make bulbie shriek like dwarf bulborbs, causing any large bulborbs to come to your aid. But you cannot control them.
heres mine olimar decides to vist the pikmin with his famaly but then all the bosses in the game decide no the pikmin are not goin to rule the planet so they create a study and find out olimar is the only reason for survival they create a metal olimar and give him mushroom pikmin but something goes wrong metal olimar takes over the bosses and trys to kill everything!!!!!! So its up to olimar to defend this planet and save the pikmin if you wondering how the animals study and made ask man-at-legs

After about 100 days (or more) of building up the new freight, the Pikmin Olimar and everyone else uses to build it become uneasy that their home is changing and a lone red leaf Pikmin walks up to Olimar with a tear in its eye. Olimar understands and tries to tell the boss to stop. Of course he refuses so Olimar and the rest of the Pikmin destroy the place and everyone leaves and never returns again. I just thought that up. :(

My idea, olimar and friends make it back to Hocctate and hes home. At night a scene appears that shows something was in the ship with him when he returned. I little bit later it had breeded EXTREMELY quickly underground. By time they notice its too late. Olimar thinks "We Need the pikmin." He travels to earth to get the pikmin to follow him to his planet and help him save it. on the way back they hit something and the pikmin crash everywhere.now he has to find the pikmin and save his planet.

He finds his father Olimar's old journal and decides to clean up the planet with the help of the Pikmin (New Pikmin are Green ones which are the parasite Pikmin from Pikmin 2)
@THEGAMEGOD7777 Cool. They can take control of most enemies, but they can't live in daylight so their Union is always located in the underground. Once they leave to the next floor in a dungeon they flee from the enemy's body. When they aren't in an enemy's form they are as weak as White Pikmin and as slow as Purples. They have the same body size as Red Pikmin however, and in addition to that they have a tail :D
@Anorithkid I don't think that would change much, its like building an airport on Antarctica, an airport wouldn't ruin the ecosystem of Antarctica, same goes for the Pikmin planet. and I guess their would be big steel walls or something.

i think louie should be evil in pikmin 3. because louie ate those carrots on purpose so that the company would go bankrupt and he wanted to save the company by himself so that he could take over the company. but when olimar left him on earth (pikmin planet) he wanted revenge so he took over the mind of the titan dweevil to try and kill olimar and the president. at least thats my and my friends theory.
The "pikmin planet" reminds me of earth because in both games there is this crap like duracell batteries and boxes

So I am assuming that Olimar landed on earth. There is one problem with this therory though. In the manual for Pikmin 1 it says Olimar is as tall as a standard memory card for the gamecube or a quarter.
I don't see how that's a flaw. Judging by the scale of the batteries and such in comparison to Olimar, that size seems perfect. I think it's the common belief that this game takes place on Earth long after humans have left the planet.
just dont try to predict how the game is gonna go, just wait for it to come out and then talk about it. people who do this are no better than people who try and say they have an x box 720 or stuff like that. plus, next time you put a video on youtube, dont wait till over 1 minute in till you start actually talking about the subject

The main game is finding lost items and returning them and also completing the levels when you have flashbacks from the caves.
You also get rewards for saving tourists and returning items and when the day ends you go back to you home and from the money you got (from helping people and saving tourist) you can buy stuff like Pets, Items That Help You, Furniture And Clothing , Characters To Play In The Game, Characters To Play Outside The Game And Other Stuff!
basically you hear that the pikmin enemies find some of the tourist busses(they take you from hocotate to the pikmin world)and are going back to hocotate and stealing everything that people on hocotate own and either hiding them or eating them so tyou have to find the lost items, its a bit like finding the treasure but its on hocotate.
and occasionally you have flash backs of when you saved the tourists that ran away into caves.
A week later the tourist site is filled with tourists...
...But some of the enemies on the pikmin planet find the tourist site and start scaring the tourists away from the site.
The presidennt hears the news and sends olimar and louie to try and find the tourists,after olimar and louie easily find the tourists the main game starts.
Basically olimar goes back to his house on hocotate, shows his kids videos on his journey with the pimin.
He later finds out that 1 of each pikmin desided to go back to hocotate and hide on the ship, he brings them back to his kids and there so happy and they play with the pikmin.
The president of hocotate freight has an idea that they could set up a tourist site on the pikmin planet so they could get lots of money.
A new member of Hocatate Freight is hired. But this new recruit is a assasain sent to kill Olimar and his family. He kidnaps his family and brings them to the Planet of Pikmin and creates a army of creatures. Olimar is sent a email with the assasain warning him of his scheme and Olimar must go to the planet one more time to save his family. Louie and Shyacho come too.
My Idea pt 2 White pikmin have a mini ship (same with purple) and a new pikmin was born. Orange pikmin. They have tails to attack. The tails are like maces and the wack things. In the end Olimar wins but was brave and stayed on the planet to fight the remanents of Louis army ( Louie dies). Other things : 2 play story mode with Olimar and son, Create a pikmin mode ( you create a pikmin and you can use it in story mode), and you can stay at night but is so much of a challenge that it bad idea.
Your idea is great !! This is my idea.10years after Pikmin 2, Olimar is the Boss of Hocotate Freight and his son is an employee. Louie was fired for crashing a ship into another ship and losing all that years profit 1 year ago. Louie wants revenge. He steals a ship and flies to the Pikminworld to get an army. Olimar finds out and flies with his son to Pikminplanet. Loui's army consists of trained bulborbs and others. Olimar goes and ralley the pikmin, but alot has changed.
Okay scrap that idea. This is mine...and I believe it's rather good. When they return to Hocotate Olimar goes home. His son convinces Olimar to take him to the Pikmin world (Earth). And somehow their ship is stolen (but it's Olimar's ship not the gay one that they got from Hocotate Freight). And they once again need the help of the Pikmin to get it back.
But without a ship, how do they get off the ground at night? And who would steal the ship? Nobody from Hocatate except the main cast knows about the Earth.
They don't get off the ground. There would be two parts to each day, a day part and a night part. And some big bad creature would steal the ship. I didn't mean someone from hocotate would.
mariodojo you do know that after you pay of the dept olimar goes home right after he leaves he looks back to see the pikmin for the last time then he turns forward then he flips back to see that he forgot louie so when he gets back to hocotate the presedant tells olimar to go back to get the rest of the tresure so they can be rich in the way he dose in the start of the game but when he points to louie louie isnt there so the presedent goes to the pikmin planet with olimar
@nintendozonezzzz Yes I do, did you know this? that when you get the rest of the treasure and get louie back from the titian dwevil that you take off and go back to Hocotate with louie in the cargo hold.
nintendo already said that green pikmin are parasites, thats why there were bulbmin in pikmin 2. meaning there is a STRONG possibility for parasite pikmin in pikmin 3
i think Olimar's son might either be joining him and Louie, or replacing Louie as a secondary character in the next game (which i personally hope they wont do because Louie's just awesome), because he's always asking Olimar to take him on one of his trips and really admires what he does as a space captain.

My idea, olimar and friends make it back to Hocctate and hes home. At night a scene appears that shows something was in the ship with him when he returned. I little bit later it had breeded EXTREMELY quickly underground. By time they notice its too late. Olimar thinks "We Need the pikmin." He travels to earth to get the pikmin to follow him to his planet and help him save it. on the way back they hit something and the pikmin crash everywhere.now he has to find the pikmin and save his planet.

@Gamerkid3001 Here is mine: Olimar, Louie and the President dosn't tell anyone about the Pikmin cause they want to keep it a secret so that the Pikmin can live in peace. 30 years later when his son himself work for the company he too crashes on the Pikmin Planet. The planet now is a complete mess and it's totally ruined. He finds his father Olimar's old journal and decides to clean up the planet with the help of the Pikmin (New Pikmin are Green ones which are the parasite Pikmin from Pikmin 2)

@THEGAMEGOD7777 Cool. They can take control of most enemies, but they can't live in daylight so their Union is always located in the underground. Once they leave to the next floor in a dungeon they flee from the enemy's body. When they aren't in an enemy's form they are as weak as White Pikmin and as slow as Purples. They have the same body size as Red Pikmin however, and in addition to that they have a tail :D

I like it, but. I'm attached to the pikmin and don't want to see their planet being changed in any way. It will disturb the wildlife and cause pollution to the pikmin planet.

how about instead of bulbmin theres olimin? like olimar but when he lays down and the pikmin carry him to the onion it spawns 4 smaller olimar that can only carry 50 pikmin each? and you could play 4 player on it. But when the day is over he gets changed back...

i think louie should be evil in pikmin 3. because louie ate those carrots on purpose so that the company would go bankrupt and he wanted to save the company by himself so that he could take over the company. but when olimar left him on earth (pikmin planet) he wanted revenge so he took over the mind of the titan dweevil to try and kill olimar and the president. at least thats my and my friends theory.

The "pikmin planet" reminds me of earth because in both games there is this crap like duracell batteries and boxes

So I am assuming that Olimar landed on earth. There is one problem with this therory though. In the manual for Pikmin 1 it says Olimar is as tall as a standard memory card for the gamecube or a quarter.

I don't see how that's a flaw. Judging by the scale of the batteries and such in comparison to Olimar, that size seems perfect. I think it's the common belief that this game takes place on Earth long after humans have left the planet.

The main game is finding lost items and returning them and also completing the levels when you have flashbacks from the caves.
You also get rewards for saving tourists and returning items and when the day ends you go back to you home and from the money you got (from helping people and saving tourist) you can buy stuff like Pets, Items That Help You, Furniture And Clothing , Characters To Play In The Game, Characters To Play Outside The Game And Other Stuff!

basically you hear that the pikmin enemies find some of the tourist busses(they take you from hocotate to the pikmin world)and are going back to hocotate and stealing everything that people on hocotate own and either hiding them or eating them so tyou have to find the lost items, its a bit like finding the treasure but its on hocotate.
and occasionally you have flash backs of when you saved the tourists that ran away into caves.

He later finds out that 1 of each pikmin desided to go back to hocotate and hide on the ship, he brings them back to his kids and there so happy and they play with the pikmin.
The president of hocotate freight has an idea that they could set up a tourist site on the pikmin planet so they could get lots of money.

A new member of Hocatate Freight is hired. But this new recruit is a assasain sent to kill Olimar and his family. He kidnaps his family and brings them to the Planet of Pikmin and creates a army of creatures. Olimar is sent a email with the assasain warning him of his scheme and Olimar must go to the planet one more time to save his family. Louie and Shyacho come too.

My Idea pt 2 White pikmin have a mini ship (same with purple) and a new pikmin was born. Orange pikmin. They have tails to attack. The tails are like maces and the wack things. In the end Olimar wins but was brave and stayed on the planet to fight the remanents of Louis army ( Louie dies). Other things : 2 play story mode with Olimar and son, Create a pikmin mode ( you create a pikmin and you can use it in story mode), and you can stay at night but is so much of a challenge that it bad idea.

Your idea is great !! This is my idea.10years after Pikmin 2, Olimar is the Boss of Hocotate Freight and his son is an employee. Louie was fired for crashing a ship into another ship and losing all that years profit 1 year ago. Louie wants revenge. He steals a ship and flies to the Pikminworld to get an army. Olimar finds out and flies with his son to Pikminplanet. Loui's army consists of trained bulborbs and others. Olimar goes and ralley the pikmin, but alot has changed.

Okay scrap that idea. This is mine...and I believe it's rather good. When they return to Hocotate Olimar goes home. His son convinces Olimar to take him to the Pikmin world (Earth). And somehow their ship is stolen (but it's Olimar's ship not the gay one that they got from Hocotate Freight). And they once again need the help of the Pikmin to get it back.
A few changes to the game itself:
1)No more caves because they're awfull
2)New Pikmin
3)Bring back the deadline.
4)Able to play at night

mariodojo you do know that after you pay of the dept olimar goes home right after he leaves he looks back to see the pikmin for the last time then he turns forward then he flips back to see that he forgot louie so when he gets back to hocotate the presedant tells olimar to go back to get the rest of the tresure so they can be rich in the way he dose in the start of the game but when he points to louie louie isnt there so the presedent goes to the pikmin planet with olimar

nintendo already said that green pikmin are parasites, thats why there were bulbmin in pikmin 2. meaning there is a STRONG possibility for parasite pikmin in pikmin 3

i think Olimar's son might either be joining him and Louie, or replacing Louie as a secondary character in the next game (which i personally hope they wont do because Louie's just awesome), because he's always asking Olimar to take him on one of his trips and really admires what he does as a space captain.
