Interesting to see someone doing what I have done for years when studies get boring, just play along. The downside to this technique for me is if I do not have anything to hear I seem to have a hard time playing or remembering the song. It does get easy to play along without music once you have the key down. Rossa

Yes, as in you have to practice everyday a lot for a while . . . smoking won't help. A flute uses more air than a tuba. :O

@JamesJB32 flute is not too hard to learn once you get the embouchure down. I hope that you do learn irish flute! Though, smoking will probably not help...flute uses a ton of air :-/

Well it's not hard to play at an instrument if you have a main melody to follow and most of all talent=D

you have to work it out beforehand (unless perhaps if you're a virtuoso) but if you know the key the song is in and know your scales finding the right notes doesn't take as long as just blind guessing. What she did is still really impressive though because playing the right notes may not be hard, but playing it with a pleasant tone and good phrasing is difficult.

It depends on if I know the song or not :) Basically, if I can sing/hum the tune, I can play in on flute no problem. If I'm not sure how it goes, I'd have to listen to the song more. I don't know if that's a good way to explain it or not, haha.

Point of interest, DanDanRevolution uploaded a video of a guy doing the same thing 2 years ago with a flute. It's not a stretch to think that a Viral Marketer saw that video and thought, "Let's replace the dorky guy with a cute girl".

I'm certain it never occurred to you, what with the limited blood flow to your brain as you watch her finger and blow a phallic object for 4 minutes, but the camera work is just a little too good. Her hair and makeup were done before she shot this. The drums are blocking the closet, yet are nicely framed in the video. Also, compare the two videos. You'll notice elements that haven't moved in 5 days. Like that water bottle by the TV or the green hair clip by the cords.

She's a bit too cute, what she says is exactly what she says in the other videos, the score seems rather high and exactly the same as the other video. Try watching them again. What she says in the other video is not the same as this one. And the scores are not the same, only the percentages are (98%). If you knew anything about how Rock Band scores vocals, you'd know that this is not an uncommon percentage if you miss only 1 phrase in the song.

Why would there be a viral video on a game that's over a year old? If it were intended to be one, it would have been for something current like Beatles Rock Band or Band Hero.
