Morality is sociopoltical, it is not objective. Morality is evolutionary and exists amongst other animals, bats for example. Morality exists outside of god, hence why atheists are, ironically, perhaps more moral than religions, such as the sexism involved within Islam and Christianity for example. Everyone is governed by society, even the morality of the vast majority of theists, hence why the immoral passages within the Bibles and Quran are ignored, because it is set by sociopolitcal.
I can't believe he actually did it - the universe must have a creator, i.e. God, well the how the hell did God get there!? Occum's Razor - it is more correct to think that the universe suddenly appeared than for an external being to have appeared who then created the universe, (for some reason, then decided for us to believe in him, for some reason). And don't argue that 'God was always there' because its not at all possible, everything MUST have a beginning, either way, Occum's Razor.
Muslims hav made alot of effort in discussing with athiests by makin videos, organising events etc to show the proofs of God and Islam. But thyre failing to understand athiests wont belive not becaus the evidences r lame but becaus athiests only beliv the empiricism to b the only form of obtaining knowledge, unles they see how problomatic it is, its no use talkin about proofs. its psychology not science thats buggin alot of them, they dont like being told wat 2 do an make emotional arguments.
Think? Ah, if you only knew what many expert psychologists really admire about me, however... I'm not a genius, but it seems obvious that such a test has an extreme flaw whereas, for example, no children should ever starve to death or even be born with any illnesses under if such an almighty were truly compassionate. By definition, the concept of relying on faith to believe a god exist is an oxymoron, especially when there so much scientific data such as determined by DNA matching...
... that the least unaltered strand is of an African decent which I first found out through BBC that states over 97% is near the same as that of apes... wouldn't that suggest that god wants the "unbiased" truthseekers to also be misled... that such a supposed god prefers us to ignorant of the research in contrary? As for morality, that does not explain why, but rather how the concept of a god came to be by inducing such fears in regard to much "further" enforce their laws -- to brainwash.
it is even more related to the genetic makeup of mice, lol!...i dont really know how should it be interpreted, but one thing is for sure...genetic makeup being similar should in NO way point out that we have descended from the same species. the most it could show is that we have similarities, and thats all!
we dont fear God, we love God, we fear his wrath...and that prevent us from consuming pork, alcohol, killing innocents, raping, being dishonest etc etc!...
@manzar9121 Ah yes, I read that about mice and pigs, and according to studies... these species have been known to eat dead people throughout our history and apparently absorbed human DNA into their own which is the real reason why eating pork was forbidden, Learning genetics compared to that written in Genesis, the wordplay is irrelevant, however... evolutions reveals in much more detail how species must've have branched out from from the most simplistic of organisms including it's reproduction.
ammm, okhay....so? how does that negate the possibility of a creator? i mean seriously, you really think this whole universe was "just there" and all of this drama just made itself up? and then atheism is supposed to be "rational" somehow?
@manzar9121 - you mean to ask... how can we find the "absolute" truth in regards? At the age of 8, I personally began with comparing extremes... a compassionate almighty god vs the reality of "innocent" children worldwide in a many worse case scenerios. Then at the age of 9, because I was considered rather too young for my family to take seriously, from which I decided to look for the most elaborate back and forth debates both along with the aide of 4 science teachers and 4 types of preachers
i would love to truly believe there's a god, that i possibly could enter into a heaven... but much of what I've learned as child... especially though a free weekly publication of "The Watch Tower" which I fully suspect is of covert athiests... a whole lot didn't seem to add up having seen the News and being a many times a witness. I'm quite sure a god does need to exist for cosmic energy to manifest near infinite possibilities that has always existed wayyyyy before we had our very own "Big Bang"
okhay, what if i say that those people who suffered in this world will be re-paid in the next life, and with much more than they could ever imagine of...a little pain, with huge rewards...what now?
@manzar9121 - that is a fair question. maybe, the only way for me to answer that is to weigh this on a metaphoric scale of comparing equal rights. taking in the account of 2 extremes also sharing a near identical equation as disciplined... should it really be justifiable that the family that got in a fatal accident be entitled to be way more happier than the family that was thought fortunate to die painlessly? it would probably be better to let them completely wipe out those memories than repay.
Yet... I guess if you have a wife and children that you love dearly and they love you just the same, then absolutely have no recollection of them... you wouldn't be aware enough to feel "decieved" by such god, that we might as well be clones or not have to have ever existed... that this current life here on earth has no true meaning... if hardly, be the case... unless, like myself, you believe we are all everlasting conscience souls interactively learning about ourselves from our cosmic energy.
... what i'm really getting at is... for a truly compassionate almighty to exist in allowing "unnecessary evils" to occur makes as a contradiction... and to have such a god deceiving us would be like worshipping a huuuge bully who says he loves you, but really doesn't... however, i guess if you must do what he says just to entertain his twisted sense of humor or else get severely punished... then I suppose we might as well obey... to believe there exists a god.
@ThankYouESM Unless those perceived contradictions are indeed part of the path that is to show you that there is actually a Creator. We know a thing because of what is it opposite. You know pleasure because you know discomfort. You know that without pain you cannot experience bliss.
There are no unnecessary evils because all evil is subject to the same laws.
obeying is not to do something because of fear, but because of appreciation.
@manzar9121 Ah yes, I read that about mice and pigs, and according to studies... these species have been known to eat dead people throughout our history and apparently absorbed human DNA into their own which is the real reason why eating pork was forbidden, Learning genetics compared to that written in Genesis, the wordplay is irrelevant, however... evolutions reveals in much more detail how species must've have branched out from the most simplistic of organisms including it's reproduction.
okay, lets assume no children dies under a fixed age say 15 years, before that barrier, whatever you do to them, nothing happens to that child...you play football with them, you try to chop them, you beat the heck up out of them etc etc...but nothing happens. what kind of a crazy world would that be? and how can even possibly the qualities of motherhood and fatherhood arise, when children dont need to be cared in the first place?
@manzar9121 - to discipline is NOT what we should call an "unnecessary evil" that in wanting to inflict justifiable pain limited by such a supposed god... or when children choose to take an certain risks, then the consequences from their own actions will also cause them that "reasonable" degree of pain. Speaking of which... as accidents often occurs, it also includes a vast number of every type of family where both parents die leaving their children who were severely hurt and dependant for life.
The question then is... where did such a supposed God came from?
Could such a God have always have existed even outside of our time and space continuum?
As to fine tuning... can it not also be possible that microbic lives can evolve from it's state to not need a vast majority of what makes us earthly species?
Can there not be many other "Big Bangs"?
Perhaps energy has always existed creating a seemingly infinite allowance of possiblities
Could it not be that the reason why people would want to make others to believe there's a God is for them to fear what would happen if anybody were to sin... even to falsely give people inner strength through such a faith.
Could it not be an inevitable way of people trying to explain the reason for each of our existence?
Why would such a supposed God want people to put their faith in ancient text instead of commuting with each of us directly at any given moment to provide us undeniable proof.
well, you see, the first comment of your's talks aonly about "could it not be this way"...in abstract thought, there can be all kinds of possibilities!...i could very well say, could it not be, that history was created as an illusion for me only, the moment i was born!!...try to disprove that!...but that would be pure doubt, nothing substantial!...and the question why we're here, frankly, should be considered with caution, empirical + rational evidence and not pure doubt!
@manzar9121 the possibilities I spoke of are in contrast to the video lecture... but, for all any of us might know... such a supposed god could be getting punished by many other gods. The bottomline is... the "innocent" could be much happier not to have "unnecessary" evil to compare... murders, starvation, rape, the need to eat animals, worldwide epidemics, life imprisoning of them, freakish accidents... and even animals needing to kill... all preventable by such a supposed "loving" god.
well, first of all, relax!...lol, you live in a free country and are free to believe/disbelieve!..i didn't understand this" such a supposed god..." but let me comment on others. i was listening to dawkins yesterday, and he said this: it should not bother me whether the God concept makes me feel good or not, the point is, whether it is true!...so, the problem of evil is not really a problem for us...whatever happens, happens for a greater good...cont
and i think, that if evil would not exist, we wouldn't recognize good...evil is, what makes us recognize good. and bytheway, much of the evil is man made...your united states consumes so much so that we'd have to need 3 planets like earth to fill their bellies!!...that's why people starve in Nigeria and the 3rd world countries!...
you see, your contentions are just "it could have been this way", but you're not 100% sure, or even 1% sure they were...so what if the moment you're dying, they were empirically proven to be the other way, and all your life you would've been living a delusion and a faith on pure doubt that they will be proven to be asymmetric with how you wanted them to be just so you can escape God ? what then?
and we can not begin to exlpore the question of "when did God start", because rationally and empirically, we have no source of knowledge of outside of this universe, do we? so we can not speculate on "how things work outside of this universe"...and "how does cause and effect work outside of this universe" they could be in reverse, like effect before and cause later...and if this seems too much weird to you, then read a book on Quantum Mechanics, trust me!...cont
cont...the moment we try to explore these question(as to when did God begin), we subconsciously assume that things outside would be the same as inside, which again is only doubt!...
and on your second comment I'd like to say that...first of all, no, it is not why we like people to believe that there is a God, its evident if you follow the evidence without any bias. but let me put that same question on you, why does dawkins like to "preach" that there is no God?
Whether a text is ancient or not, should not matter, what should matter though is, what is written in it! and thats subject to scrutiny only. and it is because we're in a state of test, there are many ideologies, you have to choose one for yourself, using the tools(science, human rationale and 5 senses) that are given for the same purpose according to us. if he would show himself to us, where would have been a test, if there was no evil, would there be any good? think!
I'm convinced
