  • Ok, this guy is not Timothy McVeigh. I'm sure there is a growing sentiment among teabaggers and a lot of overly passionate rhetoric that might lead someone to commit violence in some way against the government. I could honestly see that. But it isn't this guy. That said, the video clearly shows that these people don't have a fucking clue what they're protesting. Bush spent an incredible amount of cash, and you never saw this kind of nation wide movement based on anger. I fucking wonder why.

  • You just made a statement at somebody and questioned them on it's logic, that's a stupid thing to do.I hate this crap of "us Vs the tea party" because it turns into a battle against somebody you intended intend on. Try and change what problems you want, and let other people fix what they want, or at least try to.

  • if tim mcveigh hads balls he would;'ve shot the women and children fleeing the murrah building the way they shot the women and children trying to flee the fire at waco

  • the reporter is true fucking piece of shit. To associate Tim Mc. to tea party goers and connect voicing your opinion to domestic terrorism is just wrong. Its like saying I'm an atheist, christin or muslim and some scumbag who was also a muslim, christain, or atheist just raped a woman so you are all connected.

  • @eastofakron2 I agree. You can't equate all of them to a terrorist, even if it is incredibly common to see signs at teabagger rallies equating Obama to Osama bin Laden and terrorism. That is a truly despicable thing to see, and we shouldn't stoop to that level, you're totally right. Many of these people are not violent. But a lot of them are very, very angry, even if they can't give you a specific reason for it when you ask. And their anger-fueled rhetoric could cause someone to commit violence.

  • USA goverment collects taxes to bomb and kill and conquer poor and defensless.

  • @KingSolomon1611 If you want to prevent abortions fund day care, sex ed pell grants and vote Democratic

  • How many of the attendees are getting checks from the The VA or social security or some other government program? I say get the Government out of the your life And don't cash your EIC check next April

  • people who like to ridicule and paint an ''extremist'' caricature of the ''tea party'' have a lot ideologically in common with Weather Underground bomber Bill Ayers. Ayers would have felt at home at John Stewart's ''Rally to Ridicule''. Therefore, using Mr. Glover's slanderous tactics, I will imply that left wing rallies are potential terrorist gatherings.

  • i'm sorry tim.

  • OK has the lowest state tax burden and these people mean to keep it that way,btw this protest is against the feds and that tax rate is the same from state to state

  • there is a hidden tax called INFLATION watch it grow jackass

  • @jongery Inflation is negative taxes ,are the lowest they been in years, and anyone that heard Obama was spending 200,000,000 bucks at day and even remotely believed it a second should burn there High school diploma

  • McVeigh 168

    U.S. 1

    You reap what you sow

  • McVeigh 168

    U.S. Gov. 1

  • McVeigh 168

    U.S. Government 1

  • I don't understand why the interviewer is asking these questions? That fellow nails it dead on: "I don't care what Timothy McVeigh would think...he was a wacko-terrorist." McVeigh was anti-tax, but remember that Stalin was pro-universal healthcare. Evil doesn't adhere to one philosophy.

  • If the reporter is talking state sales taxes, OK pays 4.5%, but three states pay none and probably 1/2 dozen more pay less in sale taxes. OK beer tax is rather high. In state income taxes, 6 states do not impose these taxes but OK does. In Federal taxes, it's determined by your income. Bottom line the reporter is an doesn't have a clue. Besides, these Tea Parties have as much to do with taxes as they do with the increasing threat to our liberties with the ever expanding government.

  • Quincy, there are many other taxes besides state sales tax and beer tax. When you add them all up Oklahoma has one of the the lowest overall tax burdens - usually in the top 5 lowest burdens. Do the google, you will see.

  • nice try that reporter was trying to get the t partiers to identify or be identified as the same type of personality as tim mcveigh again nice try were not buying your propaganda anymore

  • by the way McVeigh did what he did when the government over stepped its power in the Branch Dividends and in the Randy Weaver incident. In in both cases these people's constitutional rights were violated. So he attacked the FBI building in Oklahoma, I agreed with McVeigh, with his anger but was sickened by his actions. I'm more upset with the citizens of America by letting the government off the hook and saying nothing, Both Bill Clinton and Janet Reno should still be in prison for their actions

  • The government did not over step their bounds with Waco. If you know anything about Koresh, you'd know that he was in that compound gorcing 12 year old girls to have sex with him, and his blind followers were allowing him to take their children all because of his hokey religion and false prophet ideas. Koresh should have been in prison, but he his himself among women and children and they died for it. Once again, religion destroyed rationality and got people killed needlessly.

  • this guy who was making the video has no clue on what he was talking about, its not the personnel taxes ( which will go up) but the corporate, fuel, food, transportation, electrical, or other words EVERYTHING WE CONSUME, will be taxed. Including sugar and sodas. Get real dude

  • Comment removed

  • that was frickin awesome!!!! It just shows you, a bunch of Fixed News watchers protesting something they have absolutely no idea about. Every man, woman and child in that crowd is getting a tax rate reduction next year. What the hell are they protesting??? Right wing Republicans are so stupid it's painful. No matter what you tell them or how much proof you provide to the contrary they will not believe. Fox News continues to brainwash the masses. "the news told me to be outraged so I am."

  • You ask, 'What are they protesting?"

That's a good question because the fake journalist Glover, never addressed that.

The only thing offered on this 'awesome' video is Glover's programmed marching orders to try to document something distasteful and all we got was a weasle hiding behind a column with a preprinted card that shows that Glover came to the rally with a preconcieved notion in his mind... he had a camera.. where is the evidence proving his assertions? Glover failed..

  • Im here huckleberry !!!

  • Uh could you point to the "smear" and satanic lies? I said "If you are a good Christian read the Bible and see what it says about how people should treat the poor - then look at how you actually do." So the question is how do you stack up to what the Bible says concerning what a person should do with their money to help the poor?

  • Conservatives are statistically THE most charitable group of people in the world. Yet YOUR messiah NEVER gave a PENNY to charity until he started running for public office. STILL doesn't even help his own blood family. Jesus taught for us to give to the poor of our own FREE WILL, he NEVER advocated forced charity from the govt. Here's the great thing too - private charity ALWAYS is more effective at helping the poor than the govt EVER will be!

  • And by the way, I make under $40k per year, yet I am very charitable and actually spend time hanging out with homeless folks. I give them my time and feed them and give them clothes. I don't see any liberals hanging out when I'm at the City Rescue Mission. Fancy that.....

  • David, do you consider yourself a Christian?

  • I'll answer this because it doesn't look like David has the integrity to come here and admit he is a sick atheist that doesn't know the Bible, but still tries to force it down the throat of others..

    What a sick hypocrite..

  • David Glover, are you a good Christian or are you an atheist? We all know the answer. Why do you fear admitting this? Are you afraid to be exposed as a hypocrite? Is that worse than to look like a coward?

This is your spot in the limelight! You wanted some attention and now that you have it you run and hide!

I'm just wondering, "what's the deal?"

Come out, come out from behind that column, David Glover! Your butt's too wide to hide and we can see you there with your budd Tim McVeigh!

  • @davidglover so do you still believe this shit?

  • "It's ironic and pathetic that you would smear the name of Christ with your satanic lies."

    David Glover, response?

  • Jefferson continued:

And this is the tendency of all human governments. A departure from principle in one instance becomes a precedent for [another] till the bulk of society is reduced to be mere automotons of misery . . . . And the fore-horse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression."

--July 12, 1816 letter from Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval

  • "We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debt, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our calling and our creeds . . . [we will] have no time to think, no means of calling our mis-managers to account to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers . Thomas Jefferson, July 12 1816

  • McVeigh has nothing to do with this. AC

  • Taxes are less now for everyone making less than 250K. Taxes are 10% less than under Reagan. Taxes in the USA are less than almost every other industrialized country. No one likes taxes - we all would like more for less - having a safe, working, caring society requires a progressive tax system. If you are a good Christian read the Bible and see what it says about how people should treat the poor - then look at how you actually do.

  • It's ironic and pathetic that you would smear the name of Christ with your satanic lies. Because Christ advocated charity. He never advocated using the force of government to threaten citizens with death or prison if they were not as charitable as he was.

Every one I know agrees that the income tax rate should be 20% across the board for everyone. And that the government should live within it's means. Fiat money is also something Christ warned about. Remember the story of the "money-changers?"

  • Timothy McVeigh was a neo-facist and a terrorist peice of shit (read The Turner Diaries, people like McVeigh want to violently establish an all-white socialist dystopian state). The tea partiers are anti-facist and assembled peacefully, and want to peacefully revert back to limited government through the political process. If you can't make the distinction, you need help.

  • Here here..

Fascism/totalitarianism is not a right wing idea at all. Totalitarianism is as far left as you can go. Anarchism is as far right as you an go. Republics and democracies are in the middle.

Anyone who thinks differently was asleep in class or just skipped school all together.

  • And by the way, regardless of Oklahoma's tax burden being low comparatively, this isn't just about Oklahoma - we came to the tea party as not just Oklahomans, but as Americans. U think taxes are low now, but just wait - SOMEONE HAS to pay 4 this insane govt spending spree, and it will be my kids and grandkids! It is generational THEFT. Obama is the first "black" president, and he is reinstituting slavery. How ironic. My Long after he's gone, my grandkids will be wearing his chains.

  • What a jerk! I was the bald guy standing behind Alan. You are a complete moron who has no class whatsoever. Everyone knows McVeigh was an extremist who obviously advocated violence to "overthrow" the govt. We advocate ONLY peaceful means in getting our voices heard. How classless can you be to come to OKC and talk about McVeigh? We're average citizens who are fed up with insane govt spending, who are simply stating that we'll have our pens ready at the ballot box , and you sir, are an idiot.

  • David did not "come" to OKC, He lives here, which makes it even more dispicable to use mcveigh to try and make a political statement

  • The interviewer is a tool.

  • Thank you for your Pro-Marxist video.

  • Great video. Agree with your stance on most of it. The tax burden for the general citizenry is low when compared to all the other states. I think it's the bigwigs in the oil and gas industry that worry about the taxing in their sector as the energy commissioners in Oklahoma have come out with an open letter to Obama.

  • Its so awesome how rich people can manipulate poor people into protesting an increase in the rich person's taxes!

I think these people who protest increasing taxes on the rich have been watching too much Beverly Hillbillies. They are not going to be shooting at some food when up from the ground come-a bubblin' crude. Get real middle class, a tax increase on the wealthy helps you, get behind it.

  • I'm not rich but they have a right to what they earn! You fail to talk about the super rich... 1% of american that you never hear about. What you are promoting is socialism/communism. When they are in control it is just two classes... the super rich and super poor. Don't believe everything you see in the main media. Read the Constitution... defend it or destroy it.

  • Exactly all this tax dose it make it harder for middle class to get wealthier. Essantialy putting up a huge glass ceiling that cripples us and makes us more of the whipping boy then we already are.

  • ok So where is all the money from the BIG ass stimulous going to come from. just rich people I do not think so slappy.

  • These nimrods only do what Fox News instructs them to do. They'll never wake up to the real issue which you have mentioned.

  • The real issue that plagues and infects our society is collectivism. Sure it sounds good in theory. But only a fool would forget that collectivist have been responsible for the greatest genocides in the history of the world. Nearly 150 Million souls were brutally murdered by collectivist last century.

The cure for the evil of collectivism is in the US Constitution. And it's acknowledgment and protection of the natural individual rights of mankind. We just have to follow it to the letter.

  • Well let's examine the issue of taxes and see if you're correct.

I pay 36% to Federal income tax. Married-No kids. Plus 9% State Income tax. Another 9% for state sales tax. Then I pay my property tax which is about 5% of my income. City tax of roughly $200yr. Car registration $100yr. Hunting license $40yr. Fishing license $35yr. I am self employed. Live in a 800sf apartment above my office of the same size. So I have to pay another $400yr Environmental tax because I live where I work.

  • Congratulations on being in the top tax bracket! It appears you earn several hundred thousand dollars a year. I am sorry if your taxes might go up 3% under Obama, but you've succeeded in the American dream. Its time for you to pay back so others can have the same opportunity.

  • I pay more than 60% of every dollar I make to taxes.

And you think I should be happy about that?

This is how civil wars start. One side takes and takes and takes and takes. Until the other protests, and eventually refuses and finally fights back.

That's how this country was started. People like you with a thieves mindset were running it and taking everything from the people to provide for those who did not work for it.

We kicked out those that we did not kill. And made ourselves free.

  • How did we ever survive the 70% top rate under FDR, or earlier rates as high as 90%!! Was there a second civil war over excessive taxes on the super-rich that I missed in history class? Buddy you're knocking down $400,000 a year AT LEAST, I don't really like to listen to you whine about paying taxes. YOU ARE RICH, PLEASE SHUT UP AND GO SPEND SOME MONEY, TRICKLE IT DOWN SOMEPLACE, BUT STOP WHINING ABOUT TAXES!!!!!

  • Sorry pal... Wrong again.

My wife and I make less than 160k combined.

We are not rich at all. We just pay our bills and want to keep more of the fruits of our labor.

This country was founded on a Republican form of government. Wherein the rights of the individual are paramount. And folks like you want to change it to a social democracy where only the collective is paramount. And without due process of law I might add.

The very idea of collectivism is treason if you ask me.

    Pinko.

  • "Was there a second civil war"

    You need to listen better.

We are in the "protest" phase. It's an attempt to provoke a "redress of grievances" in accordance with the Constitution. Yes that's the document that all pinkos hate with a passion.

All you care about what you can get without working for it. You're no better than a thief and a degenerate. Exactly like a maggot. No other purpose but to feed off the lives of others until you poison everything you touch.

  • This year's taxes are beside the point. Cap & Trade will make energy costs skyrocket for everyone. Increasing the debt by three fold will hurt EVERYONE. Stiffling competition by subsidizing the survival of the unfittest (like GM and Chrysler and AIG) takes away the incentive for innovation, which hurts EVERYONE.

The difference between you and me is I want to give everyone equal opportunity to excell and you want to force everyone to be mediocre.

  • Somebody should of punch your left wing ass in the face. You are just as bad as the bitch from cnn.

  • That's because they are reading from the same script and it's all designed to weaken and divide the public into factions fighting each other instead of uniting against the real problems facing America today. Glover is a late commer to politics that is mentally and emotionally 'invested' in the hype of change and hope and all the mass excitement of that make believe movement. People don't like their happy bubbles being burst and Glover is desperately defending his false bubble.

  • Yes, that is what I wrote. All true.

  • Here is a copy of the message that david sent to me "You were not in OKC were you? I can tell because your crowd estimate is exaggerated. Taxes are lower on almost everyone compared to Bush. Taxes are 10% lower than under Reagan. Oklahoma is one of the lowest tax burden states. The signs I saw, the words showed great ignorance of the the facts. I believe McVeigh would have felt very comfortable in the rhetoric of OKC."

  • just to pay the interest on the new debt that has been created by Bush and Obama. This isn't even about Obama, it is about the future of this Country. I have never been to a rally or protest before this one. I have never made a campaign contribution to any candidate for any office. I am not an activist, I don't post comments on websites, but I am so offended by your ignorant comments that I can not stand by while you try to associate normal people with an evil monster like Timothy Mcveigh.

  • Saying that folks who are feed up with govt spending are the same as tim mcveigh is just like saying that if you have ever been in an argument with your wife, then you are the same as OJ Simpson or biting your nails makes you jeffrey dahmer.

I would also point out that this coward stood in front of 8-10 thousand people and held the sign facing him. He sure didn't have the courage to show that sign towards the crowd.

  • I was at the capital on 4-15-09 and was at the Murrah Building on 4-19-95. I believe that my crowd estimates are more accurate than has been reported, but that is irrelivant. You miss the point completely on taxes. If you could possibly step out of your politically defensive haze for a moment you might realize that the rally is not about the current tax rate, it is about out of control spending and the astranomical future tax rate that will be required to be cont.....

  • Dave, I was there right behind you. If I was anything like McVeigh you would have been hurt, but since we were all law-abiding citizens rallying to retrieve our constitution from a century of debasement, you are free to use a evil strawman to smear good people. You are not yet to the level of Michael Moore, but you disgust me just the same.

  • Funny tho he uses the same onesided propaganda that moore dose tho. Sneak up attack with ? before they are ready and push my biased one side of the story. Are you sure this isn't Mr Moore propaganda.

  • LOVE IT! I love the anti-tax argument is turned on its head. It's completely illogical to want more services/benefits (including financially supporting our troops, repairing infrastructure, keeping jobs, etc) without paying and/or increasing taxes. President Obama is attempting to transform Bush's crap into workable fertilizer so we all need to hold our noses and help in these herculean efforts to clean the Aegean Stables!

  • Obama is just another puppet like Bush. They both are owned by the super elite. The bailouts are a plunder of the real economy and will only prolong and worsen the economic pain .

The rallies across the country are not a one item cause and certainly not just an anti tax demonstration. It is sad that David Glover, tries to equate peaceful demonstrators with CIA bombing patsies like McVeigh. Videos like this are misguided at best.

  • Trying so hard to make some thing it is not. The Federal Reserve is a privat bank, for profit, your tax dollars dont go for the infrastructure of our nation. It goes to pay the intrest, the profite portion to the private bankers, Where is it in the constitution advising the federal government to use public funds to bail out any private organization. The Constitution is quite clear what the duty of ever citizen is once we are in an overly opressive tyranical goventment, Timothy McVie insullting

  • thats so cool that he can bring the murder of hundreds of my fellow oklahomans and some of my friends to compare peaceful protests to terrorist activity real cool man nice work

  • If you saw the signs and listened to the speakers in OKC it is easy to say that McVeighs quotes on taxes were oddly similar. Anti-Government anti-tax talk help create McVeigh. If you make under $250 you got a tax break, if you make more a 3% hike on the over 250 amount - so what is all the tax talk really about. Where was the outrage under Bush?

  • David Glover shames himself by posting this thinking he is some kind of gonzo journalist or something..

    That was really lame, Dave...

It shows the fear that Obamunist are experiencing.. and the cheap shots that you will take.. sorry but it also shows that you really don't have a clue..

    What else ya got?

  • To claim that those who advocate for smaller government or who want to limit government actually want to abolish government as such is viciously dishonest.

  • So you send me sources cited in '02 '03 and you believe this is legitimate defense to your position? David please post your link so youtube can see where you get your info. Its laughable. Its true Oklahoma was ranked in the 40's..taking into account it was the late 1970's. Look at the US Census or Tax Foundation and stop spreading misinformation.

  • YouTube seems to not allow for links in comments. I have attempted to post urls so people can see the information is true.

  • Koch helped make this happen.

  • Were not the lowest tax burden state, link to your source fruity pebbles.

  • Tim McVeigh may have been against taxes and government, but none of the people there were of his ilk. Fact that you spent time trying to be a provocateur during what was a courage and victorious day for Oklahomans and Americans puts you a lot closer to McVeigh that these Tea Party organizers or attendees.

  • Why not just kick a guy in the balls if you want a cheap shot? McVeigh? C'mon.

  • cheap shot?? im from oklahoma and personal before i seen this video i knew something was not right about alan webb and him being so uninformed about the things that went on in this state only proves it " my information from elsewere ok ok ok" I wana know were alan is realy from....last but not least u sound like the women that said "ITS NOT ALL ABOUT TAXES" kid

  • dude, you're just like what conservatives warned us all about, trying to bring division where there is unity for a GREAT cause... Pull your head out davidglover!!

  • Search what McVeigh said about taxes and government, it was like he wrote the speeches today Oklahoma was 2nd lowest tax burden - facts are facts. Move to Alaska if you want lower.

  • McVeigh was against taxation yes...but he was a TERRORIST. The vast majority of libertarians and conservatives would NEVER condone what he did.

There are evil conservatives like McVeigh, and evil liberals like Mao Zedong. But you can't say that all conservatives or liberals are evil.
