I'm in Canada but have to travel to Michigan to stock up on Luzianne tea bags as they are not available here. I use a coffee maker with six family size bags making about 14 cups and use sweeter rather than sugar. Mmmm...
Most of the time, I do boil the water, or atleast get it hot, and pour it in the cup with the tea bag and then add a little sugar. But if I want to just do it cold, I just put the tea bags and sugar in a jug, then add water.
i make mine easy way lol gallon jug sugar water shake it up then put 13 tea bags in it and let it set in the fridge over night u should try it its really good
@ADRIANO17UAE - You're welcome. Some people do enjoy lemon in their tea - my mother-in law used to put in lemonade and I know some people order their tea with half lemonade. My family prefers just the plain tea, but you could add any flavor you like.
@lynnsrecipes Hi, can you help me out with something. I know you said tea bags are there a specific type of tea bags or do you know a select few that i can choose from and use in my sweet tea? Ive heard people mixing 1/2 raspberry tea and 1/2 green tea in their sweet tea. So if you can help me and tell me what flavors of tea would be ideal for this recipe. I use alot of lipton tea bags are they ok?
@BlackSkullz09 - I always use the family size Luzianne tea bags. I have also used Lipton, but I buy them at Costco, and they only have the Luzianne ones at my Costco. I also do decaffeinated, but that is just a personal preference. I do not typically do flavored tea - my family doesn't really care for it, so I just stick with regular flavored tea bags. I think it would be great to experiment with the flavored ones. Just replace a large one with 1-2 of the flavored ones.
