  • Hello Eric, I hope this video helps me fix a leaky toilet kind of old type of shut off valve, valve has a handle- that looks like the handle of a garden or outside faucet, not like the one you are showing but a double lever or straight line handle, anyhow, it has a leak and I really want to try myself first, the only thing is that I don't have the strength of a guy but I will still try, finally I just want to say thank you for taking time to upload this video, the doggies were cute.

  • Hey thanks guys! 5 stars! -El Rebel

  • @RebelGrandmaster thank you mr El Rebel!

  • Hi Eric my outside tap - which is connected to my house wall is leaking on the INSIDE of the house - where the water shuts off for the winter. Would it be the same procedure on the inside of the house to repair the leak? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hey man thanks this solved the problem! and saved me $300 in plumbing repair. it cost me $1 for a new washer and screw!

  • You need to tell "TheHandyGoddess" that this is the way to do it.

  • Will you come fix mine for me? It has a huge icicle on it now :)

  • Was this taken in Brooklyn, NY?

  • Everyone knows dogs favor Walmart over hardware stores! Why? Because of the free edible samples. (Tastes better than rubber washers). Duh.

  • Excellent! Thank you much kind sir

  • great demo.

  • Thanks for the video! I shall fix my leaky faucet tomorrow because my water bill this past month was too high.

    :P

Not too hard. I thought it was gonna be more complicated.

  • I couldn't handle living in a area like that.

I need a lot of yard for a big garden, thanks for the tips though.

  • Great laidback tutorial...the dog is smarter than its master...

  • I was going to replace the faucet and was stressing this would be a disaster and I would end up having the whole house re-piped lol. So I went to youtube and found your video. I bought a pack of assorted washers, turned off the water and had my faithful lab dog guard as I swapped out the eaten up rubber washer with a new one. Thank you guys for making this video with great instructions and the closes up helped a lot. You made my day!!!
