Could you post a video of yourself making one?? It would be really interesting to see you making one, am sure there are so many of us who are interested how exactly you make one. Cool stuff

Materials for this tree: Lava rock, 8"wide by 14"long by 3"thick slab of Maple wood, 20 gage copper wire, approx. 350 6mm faceted glass beads and Minwax Hand Rubbed Finish.
Tools: chain saw, grinder with chain saw blade, band saw, belt sander, Foredom power carver, Dremel power carver, wire cutters, pliers, wood workers instant glue, super glue, various grits of sand paper, miter saw, drill and router.
They are cool, I like wood texture though. The beads must be really pretty in person. I have some antique ones- coiled gold, and coiled white, they sit atop a piece of beautiful driftwood. They have green beads as leaves, and the branches are all adjustible. One is a weeping style, the other is an aspen like tree.
It's breathtaking, you are a real great artist, thanks for posting this beauty for us to see.

No, these trees are carved from various hardwoods. They are sanded smooth and an oil finish is applied which makes them shine.
