the lt1 motor is a very good motor and can be built up to an lt4 which is a beast 425 hp upgrade i know i had 93 trans am lt4 conversion and it was a high 12 second car with out being fine tuned I raced an ls1 trans am think 98 model and beat it pretty good it had basic bolt ons

I used to be a 3rd gen guy but when I test drove my 93 z28 6 speed about 5 years ago with 115,000 miles on it, I will never look back now. The 4th gen z28 is just so much better in every way than a 3rd gen. Mine has 148,000 now and I havent replaced anything accept tires and brakes and I do not baby it.
Idk if you still have your camaro, but when you made the video, did you like the car, and was if good performance wise?? I'm looking into a 93 a/t and wanted to see if it was a pretty good car

I drove a 1993 Z-28 for 14 years. I bought it brand new with 200 miles on it. It had almost 400,000 miles on it when some asshole hit it and totaled it. They are excellent cars, but beware of the distributors, they can be a pain. By the way, I loved my Camaro so much I paid the insurance company $500 to keep it after they totaled it. When I get out of grad school I'm going to restore it.
@martian010 There is no better performace car for the money. There are faster cars, and there are cheaper cars... but nothing can match the 4th gen camaro in bang for the buck.

@regalgs1 ....why is the LT1 a shit engine? Are you high? 350 LT1 Tune port in the Trans Am GTA is a BEAST. And what makes the 3.4 such a shit engine? Stable and reliable with decent stock power. It's never gonna be a track car or anything but it's a great daily driver. To say the LT1 is a shit motor sounds to me like you've never owned one and are expressing a biased opinion.
also, my 93 Z doesnt shift at the right points. you go, and you go all the way up into about 5 grand in first, mine doesnt do that. did you change it or something?

Now im a third gen guy but there is nothing wrong with the way a 93 z28 accelerates. You don't really know how it feels till you actually get in one. I would recommend it. There bad ass cars.
