Your right. This is one of the worst movies of all time. it's so bad it's negative -1. it has to go up one level just to be 0 stars. and another to get 1 star *. I hated this garbage movie. Why was this waist of film nominated for an oscar. Look, Just watch BATTLE STAR GALACTICA on DVD. It may have been a sci fi channel show but it was better than most sci fi movies. I love sci fi movies so if I hate it this much, it's got to really suck.

@TheSpedattack There was only one plot change, they first have you on a pro human side, and then the main character was getting mutated by some sort of liquid so he was forced to go to the camp. If you thought the ending was terrible The Sopranos finale it let you decide how you thought was going to happen, its the same with District 9. but one question did you see District 9 from beginning to end or did you stop watching half way though.

Not important!? Without them the film would just be a documentary on Johannesburg. They're kinda important.
