  • @nightrider836 native blood does not matter, what matters is what you feel deep in your soul.

  • reminds me of tha rez

    i don't think i'll leave

  • How did this Omaha dance get it's start? Very interesting (grass dancing). Thanks for the video.

  • makes me miss home

  • @21missness i no right? i wanna go home now..

  • I love this video and look forward to when I can attend the Pow Pow in person. I cant

get enough of the singing and dancing. The dancers are great. I am proud to have a little native blood in me, I just wish it were more.

  • @nightrider836 I agree. I have only the tiniest bit of native blood in me, but of couse I'm as white as it gets. Wish I could learn more. All I've found on ancestry.com is that I have a (a few greats in front of) grandmother by the name of Isabella Lnu (1744-1795) who married Robert Duffield (1739-1795). Isabella's father was names Running Horse (1720-?). They lived in Virginia. That's all I know. I think the culture is just absolutely beautiful.

  • @1516jen Count your blessings that you can at least find your ancestors. My great great grandfather was kidnapped from a Native American 'boarding school' and sold into my family. He was only five years old at the time. According to my great grandmother he knew that he was a Sioux but there is no way to prove this and I can find no records of him.

  • Excellent video and a great dance group. One day I hope to get down there for the Pow Pow. The only thing I envy about my ex-wife is that she has been there, but soon

I hope to be with these beautiful people.

  • This video is an excellent reminder to anyone on this planet, to illustrate the presence of an honorable, native culture of souls who have belonged here, ('north america')... long before anybody named Dow, Jones, or Bush did.

  • OH WOW!! GREAT

  • This makes me giggle

  • Hey guys I love you.

  • awesome

  • native pride i am cherokke
