The hippie Era was something that allowed people to break out of their social norms, emerge and let loose not fearing the consequences. It's certianly something, like many things that if done in good moderation can become the perfect society to truth, love, honesty, and brother/sisterhood.
Afterall, if Eric Cartman is evil, then the people he must hate the most must be the ultimate good.
The '60's counterculture was right.
If you look at what the mainstream establishment has done and the problems they have made, it is clear the counterculture was right.
