I have to ask, and im NOT making fun or dissing, but do people still play this game? Like literally right NOW is there someone playing it NOW? I'd like to know, because it would inspire me to play it again. I hate to play some old SNES game like Secret of Mana of Evermore or Breath of Fire and think im the only person on the entire known planet playing this shit. The game is AMAZING, at least the memory is. New games are good but they lack the "magic" this game and a few select others had...

Even though this game had almost every RPG cliche it was still awesome. I have some good and bad memories with this game. The music was amazing. The overworld theme never got old!

I'm not gonna say that Lufia is game breaking though but I think she shoulda been more along the lines of Selan. Lufia I Selan is probably the most balancing female toon I've seen in any RPG.

Terra is fucking overpowered as hell

Celes is overpowered

Rydia is overpowered

Peach is overpowered

Bleu is overpowered (duh)

So Lufia is just following suite. Selan in L2 CAN be overpowered if you give her too much GUTS, her natural stat level bonus ups are insane although Artea is pretty bad.

This game was pretty good! Lufia is fricken overpowered though (imagine that, a female character overpowered in an RPG!). She gets like almost every spell in the game and can use about 2 protective status spells and about 3 negative status spells. Basically status spells are game breaking IMO. Courage, Protect, Fake, Dread, Agile, Trick = gg to any monster no questions asked. And of course Lufia does too much damage with spells but she's Erim so I guess she has a right to be overpowered :P

I really loved this game even though Lufia 2 did almost everything better, there was something about the first one that felt really special to me.
