  • There must be something wrong with your vibrant, because mine never lagga like that

  • your phone is a piece of shit.. i have a vibrant and it never freezes up like yours does stop with the stupid clock widgets and dumb apps that shit makes your phone slow and gay

  • @MrPolids LOL

  • What's the point of this video? Sprint is faster?

  • Also no im not biased I gave it time to easily compare both phones and to prove it look at when I post my last comment a few months ago and yet my statements are still valid.

  • Who gives a shit if the vo screen is bigger or if it has 2 cameras the vibrant has a better screen (super amoled) whether it is smaller or not. Not to mention the vibrants 5mgp camera is cleaner than both the 8 and 5 mgp cameras that the evo has also the processor is better and thats fact the evo has had multiple problems with not being able to support enough apps and the fact it freezes and force closes alot I have to have any problems with my vibrant and yet alot of my evo user friends have

  • ummmmm the htc evo had the animations off and the gakaxy s had them on

  • your just making the evo win, everyone can tell jackass

  • Lol dude, how much stuff do you have on your vibrant? mine's brand new and it's faster than that XOOM dual core lawl

  • retards...its depends on how much you have on your phone as well ALREADY..YOU HAVE TO COMPARE TWO BRAND NEW PHONES THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN USED IN ORDER TO TELL ANYTHING...duH!!

  • check out samsung on talk tracker . net

  • Dayum dude what the heck did you do to your virbrant? My vibrant on stock NEVER lagged like yours... i applied the lagfix and I tripled my quadrant.. (i know it doesn't mean much but it was snappier) Now I am running Nero v.3 (a 2.2 froyo based ROM) w/ voodoo injected to the stock kernel,, and wow.. my vibrant has never been so damn fast...but on stock it was never close to being this laggy.

  • my vibrant is fast

  • im just adding to the other comments here. i also have a samsung vibrant, got it the day it came out. ive had NO issues with it like you are having. you should have just taken it back and got a new one. all apps including google earth and google maps load/unload instantly. home screen button is instant also. i have seen this issue with others though. they just got it replaced.

  • its something wrong with ur galaxy S because my i have it and its not that slow u need to take urs back and get a new one

  • is that the updated vibrant? mine looks different?

  • Uhh...this video is null and void...I'm not sure what launcher application this guy was using, but it sure as heck aint standard 2.1 with Touchwiz...oh...and he's got ATK on both phones quickly disqualifying him from knowing a thing about using android

  • ok man this is just a bullshit video.

  • the EVO is the greatest phone thus far........nuff said.

  • SlidIt Really? hahha :)

  • vibrant all the way

  • bullshit

  • how much crap is running on the Vibrant to begin with? I can make your wife's Evo look worse than the Vibrant :) You're pathetic dude... And if I have some time I'll post a video of my Vibrant to prove you're swindler...

  • dude... my girls bro has the tmobile vibrant and it is not non-responsive at all like ur making it to be. ur phone is either messed up, setting have been changed, or u just pretend to click it. i used this phone and it is noting like ur vid.

  • Hmmmm... I ran my Vibrant along with your test and it kept up with the Evo in the video. A bit faster on Facebook too.

  • samsung phones suck and always will. all you little kids are just mad because this is the best phone you could get on t mobile family add-on plan. grow up and you will understand inferior product...

  • @cbueno777 actually it isnt i know a guy at t-mobile he clearly said vibrant as of now kills HTC by alot HTC = so many issues they need to fix

  • Is this test performed in a 4G area?

  • the htc is big and ugly

  • Your wife has to be the downest wife ever if she listens to kid cudi.

  • @MichellleMarie Who doesn't? : - )

  • The Samsung Vibrant is not that slow.

I have seen many of them in use and thats more like the ouch pro 2.

The Hd 2 is faster than the phone you have on the right and its not as fast as the Vibrant.

  • my opinion both are good good phones but im gettin the vibrant! AYYYYYEEEEE!!

  • you know it could also be becus you have alot more widgets on your vibrant more homescreens with things

  • yea u just got a bad vibrant.

  • man this video comparison is hogwash the vibrant is much faster then what is being showed im not gonna say its faster then the evo. but brand new out the box its blazing fast. once i started adding many apps i notice a drop in speed which is natural. the only time it slowed down is when you have alot of apps running in the background even then its still speedy. i think there is a bias in this video review or a bad setup to compare them properly one more thing the touch screen is second to none

  • I'm not sure if the reviewer was intentionally trying to make the evo look better, or what have you, but I've got a Galaxy S international version, and it is super quick and responsive. It's even better than the iPhone 4. I have yet to experience something like that.

  • @peasoupman Tried the Epic ( Galaxy S Sprint Version) and it was very fast....according to Android Central, it has no lag issues like the ATT and TMobile version, so it might just be those two models.

  • @aparigraba I have the Vibrant and i have no lag at all. He is probably using a task killer. and does not have it installed on the Vibrant. And if you dont want people to comment than there is an option to turn off comments. You made a nice video. No need for unprofessional language. My brother has the Evo and I have the Vibrant. And my vibrant is faster than the Evo. The Vibrant has a better processor. But the Evo is an awesome phone also. Keep making videos. Dont let people bother you.

  • Whats the point of this video, I have the vibrant, and its a lot faster than the evo, a couple of buddies of mine have the evo, and it's so slow.

  • hey, whatever, i timed my vibrant from your vid and I am way faster than your evo or vibrant. you should send that thing back, or just factory reset and don't put something currently on there back. My Vib is wicked fast.

  • stop trying to slow down the vibrant with all the apps running in the backround..also if your running a browser test then run them both on wifi, not just the evo, and have the vibrant running on 3g.

  • Comment removed

  • wat the eff is with the hand ur using the vibrant with? its like delayed compared to the evo hand

  • Samsung crybabies...no one has said anything bad about the slow vibrant...stop bitching. If you have a fast vibrant that is faster than the Evo post it on your page and stop crying. Between my two phones..the Evo won hands down. Maybe with 2.2 the vibrant will get faster, although i doubt it.

  • @aparigraba it should be apparent to you that something is wrong. Have you watched any other galaxy s videos? Have you ever used a g1? Well I have watched many galaxy s videos and own a g1, and it is quite obvious something is wrong with your handset. My g1 with practically no ram and a 528mhz processor opens dolphin faster, in EVERY other video comparing top phones, vibrant wins over evo being drug down by sense.

  • @aparigraba Extremely biased review.

  • @aparigraba no ones crying bitch.. we have the best processor that obviously rapes the clunky evos that cant do anything but sip battery life with its ancient lcd (soon to be obsolete technology)

  • @aparigraba my vibrant is fast no lag what so ever and it doesn't freeze or shut off by itself but then again maybe i have a good product lol

  • plus HTC has been known to freeze and shut off by itself PLUS i heard it barely runs the apps like how its supposed to in my opinion Vibrant wins and my friend can vouch he has the HTC evo and his sister has the HD2 both fail to virbant

  • this video is shit...for real galaxy s is much better

  • u do know the hummingbird 1ghz and gpu on samsung is much faster right? 40fps on quake live...

  • All of this is Bull I have the vibrant and I was using mine as he used his. And mine was faster than the Evo. Secondly look at all the things he has open on the Vibrant and he has nothing open on the Evo this video is Bull.

  • All of this is Bull I have the vibrant and I was using mine as he used his. And mine was faster than the Evo. Secondly look at all the things he has open on the Vibrant and he has nothing open on the Evo this video is Bull.

  • 2:30 you have swype on you douchebag

  • @thecoolboy99 does swype slow the phone down?

  • @aznhomieboi1689 nope. u can turn it off also

  • The samsung vibrant is faster than the HTC EVO. It have a much snappier processor and GPU my friend!

  • @dvspot wtf? cant u see that the evo is faster on this vid?

  • @abdane96 do some research my friend. The galaxy s have a faster cpu and the best gpu on the market for a mobile phone right now. The evo uses a first gen snap-dragon processor which is I tad slower than humming bird processor, that the galaxy s use. Cheers!!

  • @dvspot ok so if the galaxy s was faster, the evo have a larger screen and it has a secondary camer, dual LED flash light!!!!!!!

  • @dvspot thank u were did he get that phone because his galaxy S is slow and mine don't take all dat time to load

  • i bought my Vibrant today and it's nowere near SLOW

  • This Video is a Bunch of Crap, you can tell he trying his Best to make the Vibrant look Bad, Pretending to touch the Vibrant Screen , I have Both Phones and the Vibrant Kills the Evo in every Test and When the 2.2 Froyo Official Version it will wipe the Evo and the Iphone4 off the planet!!!

  • @mrbigdik9 A few have said that they have both phones to compared and I have asked fro videos from them to see if I had a lemon and no one has answered, please make a short video and provide link, see if I can give the Epic a chance.

  • @mrbigdik9 LOL

I got me a vibrant... and that sh!t is FAST. we don't know what this guy installed in that vibrant... i tried my apps with this video [although might not be accurate] and it's as fast if not faster.

  • @mrbigdik9

you're stupid, look at the icons, they both get grayed out at the same time. So stop saying he's only pretending to touch the Vibrant. Maybe you're too much of a retard to analyze both phones at the same time. Try watching only one half of the video and just time the loading times between icons touches and final load times. Retard.

  • @generation159 listen you Nerd Dork Generation159 you are lucky i'm not there to wipe the floor with you! but jackass anyone who see this video can tell he has bias against the vibrant, so keep your mutha fucka mouth shout and let grown folks talk b4 you get smacked the fuck up!

  • the button response is faster on the evo but when it comes down to the processor speed the vibrant is 10x faster

i have a vibrant and mine works fine... if i had to choose, having faster browsing speed but have to wait half a second longer for the camera to open is perfectly fine with me

  • @mrjayboo

hi, mrjayboo, you are absolutely right, the guys at the t-mobile store ran a processor speed test and a phone speed test on my phone compared to the evo and the internet was like comparing 3000 to 300 in processing speed. i have a vibrant too. i wouldn't change it for nothing... at least until they come out with a vibrant 2

  • watch?v=_b363eq0dXY

watch that video before drawing any conclusions. The phone has I/O problem and it's confirmmed that it's a firmware issue with leaked(unoffical) firmwares it has gotten already above 1000 for quadrant. They will fix it with the froyo release in september

  • HTC EVO IS THE ANDROID KING !!!

  • 16 gigs of on board storage is beast on the vibrant. Evo hits back with a front camera and an 8mp camera with flash. the only real dig i have on the vibrant is the theres NO notification light which i had become reliant on. the evo is just to big. its awkward to hold and carry (no wonder they put a freakn kick stand). i use swype bc i txt 24/7 and its so uncomfortable with the width of the evo's screen. i think the galaxy s series are the best smartphones on the market right now

  • @nwhitey10

Its only awkward to hold if you have those little burger king midget hands...

  • Dude you got a lemon for sure i would send it back for reason of software malfunction and give it another try. I got the vibrant the day it came out and love it. Evo my best friend has it and we compared (with very different results). Both phones performed all basic tasks (running apps, multitasking ect) flawlessly. testing the stock browsers over the same wifi connection the vibrant even took the evo by a split second. No contest comparing screens vibrant hands down with the super amoled.

  • i think that this gut has underclocked his vibrant. it looks like its going slower than my samsung moment which is overclocked at 800mhz. if it isnt underclocked, than it should be exchanged for a new one. i played with the demo vibrant at the tmobile store for about an hour and it never lagged like that did!!

  • thats FUNNY... look @ the camera test again... looks like he pretended to push the button on the screen of the vibrant... waited; then pushed the side camerea button to make it look like the evo was faster.

  • @Bigbots24 Yeah, I wanted to make MY PHONE look bad, because their is nothing better than having a slower phone than everyone else. I can tell you dont have either phone, because the power button is whats on the side of the vibrant...its on the top on the Evo.

  • @aparigraba Get the samsung captivate, that better than the evo.

  • this guy dont know how to test evo vs samsung lol

  • Hey what weather clock widget is that? Looks cool i want it

  • Vibrant FTW

  • Slow ass t mpbile< sprint all day, fastest internet phone in the country. Evo 4g!

  • @973dredre

actually, t mobiles the fastest 3g network in the works, and will be in about 100 markets by year end. t mobiles hspa+ 3g reaches a theoretical peak download speed of up to 21mbps and peak upload speeds of up to 5.7 mbps, but sprints 4g only gets peaked out at 10mbps download and uploads at about 3mbps

  • Have you seen the video with the Captivate vs. the Evo in benchmark tests plus running games side by side? The Captivate destroyed the Evo in every aspect, so I am quite curious. Is the Vibrant worse or did you have a lemon? Try running neocore, linpack, and quadrant side by side and report back. You can find out if there is indeed a problem this way. I had an Evo, but returned it after seeing the benchmark results.

  • @canadia7x Phone is fine.... 55.7 FPS, 8.008 MFLOPS on linpack and 858 score on quadrant. Great for gaming, great graphics, beautiful screen, but once you get a couple of apps running it lags...a lot. I posted those links with a lot of people having the same issues. If you run one app or 2 at a time its fast.

  • @aparigraba at least it's only a software issue, unlike some other phone I know...

  • your samsung is ****** up ... change it with new one

  • ummm.... i knew something was funny about this video

i replayed the video doing the test right along side you and my vibrant was faster in everything than your evo and what ever the other phone your holding is....so i dont know what you've got goin on here.

  • @ultramagnusone Get an Evo and connect them to your wifi for it to be fair. I have both on 0.5MB download speed, so anybody at home with better wifi will beat both of them. Then post it on youtube, because everyone keeps telling me that their Vibrant is faster than mine, but no proof.

  • @ultramagnusone Yeah right!

  • the problem here is that there's a bug in samsung's firmware that slows down I/O performance , until samsung fixes this it's gonna be slow to open and close apps.

    {although this seems to be happening only to a few people}

look up something called the galaxy s stalling fix , you'll find more info on the subject

the temporary fix for this is to remove unwanted widgets and free up ram ,

the best way is to switch homescreens to something like launcher pro which is light on the ram.

  • @tarunrad thats not the problem i just tested out a samsung vibrant and it was working way faster than the one in this video is wayyy faster

  • @killer3878 I know what you mean the phone is actually very fast most of the time , it slows down on heavy use becasue of this bug ,

I've had the unlocked galaxy s for sometime now and beleive me the performance your seeing now will keep varying , if it's anything like the international version !

the thing is the typical quadrant scores on this phone are 800+ , but with the stall fix the scores bumps up to 1400+ , the phone beomes a wholly new entitiy all together !!!

  • They are both on Wifi pamir.

  • look at antenna bars. t-mobile is not good there.

  • okay, how is this even a "VS" video? I don't see any comparisons. much less no vocals about it. So the Vibrant appears slow, is that your complaint?

  • whats funny is the evos battery life

  • This is so bias! Something is wrong with your Samsung. I love Evo, but this wasn't a fair VS at all.

  • @cfeltner I hope you are right and something wrong with the samsung, because there are no Evo's left and I really want the Epic. Got the Vibrant to try TouchWiz, the screen, camera, etc.

  • @aparigraba yea my vibrant is way faster then that and i know for a fact faster then evo

  • Beautiful widgets clock.

  • what clock widget is that on the vibrant?
