@FringeAnonymous So far I have studied in psychology there been another Reicher and Haslam (BBC prison study). Also my teacher said there are total 5 in my subject but in actual there have been like 20 or more simulation which the public does not know about.

This is exactly what goes on in Boot Camp when you have power hungry members and it happens A LOT! Why is this accepted for our military men and women for MONTHS!?

@befreier1 Because this kind of treatment conditions them into being obedient soldiers. But this conditioning carries over to real life once they come home again. A lot of soldiers coming home are severely traumatized, not from the battlefield but from the treatment received in the camps.

I think the basis of a lot of cruel behaviour and dominance comes from the meat diet. As children we are conditioned to positively enjoy meat dishes with our family and although all participating know in the backs of their minds that animals are tortured, their freedom taken, and finally killed for the meal, there is an unspoken rule that this is simply not questioned. This is the template on which all other cruelty is then reproduced. dehumanize=animal=acceptable cruelty.

Reminds me of this German movie about a similar experiment, they had volunteers to conduct the test, half were prisoners and the other half were guards that ran the prison. It was a really good movie I can't believe I forgot the name of the movie :P

I remember now, it's called "Das Experiment" 2001, but there is a 2010 "The Experiment". It got really horrible at the end.

Great series again and thank you for sharing it with us all, alot of knowledge learned and gained by this. When watching this I did think of the movie The Experiment, saddening that Good men allow bad men to rule over us all. Show's us exactly why we need to do a better job on picking our Leaders and make sure they are 100% good and do what they say they will do. Could be why we have gotten some sour grapes lately. Alot of our Leaders seem to have fallen prey to evil ppl around them.

@DarkFlame666 that's is why the eco system of earth is shared, if we destroy one piece of it, all will suffer even us as humans. Earth keeps us in check as well as the universe around us. Today man thinks he is even greater then earth or even God to some, what will happen when we come to the belief we're greater then all things or the earth or universe? I think we may just soon find out, that we all will suffer again greatly till we discover to live in unity with all things not only ourselves.

@Budvb i think the main reason all this is the way it is, is because in schools your tough u can't do anything unless some prick with a piece of paper says u can, gata ask permission to go to the bathroom or nurse if u feel bad you can't just walk out of class, it's that type of mentality that's fed to people and why no one does anything unless they see other people doing it. everyone wants to see what they can get away with till someone says "stop it". but no one is saying it for many reasons.
