If a registry exists that gains size, power and members over the years leading up to the actual reality, and if the registry and organization's records and members are kept and updated, and the snowball continues to live and roll on, it will have at least some bargining power with funds to exert legal power. Future visions can be positive with chance, faith and possibility held as beliefs, just to mention a few.
Simple fact, one day, one time, though may be generations after you or sooner, it will be possible, governments, people will own property on the moon. Somehow this will have to transition to reality. And if you have 0% claim or bargining power you certainly have 0% chance. But having a calim issued from a grey area of not completely 100% defined law that will change into new voted law in times finally to come in that future, will at least give you/relatives maybe 5%, 10 or 20% or more chance.

Under the first space treaty space was assigned the property of humanity. What dennis hope has done over the years is illegal - selling deeds that mean nothing as deeds that mean something is fraud.
