That guy in the overalls just needs some tender loving care from someone who will treat him right as he richly deserves! :-) He is very handsome and he seems so humble about that too.
I just watched the original pilot with Brooke Kerr playing Tara, and I am so glad they recast her and hired Rutina Wesley. She is so much more believable in the role. She has better chemistry with the other lead actors, and she even looks like she could be Lafayette's cousin.

I love these two characters and when they are together the chemistry is BRILLIANT! I love how even though they don't look anything alike they are completely believable as cousins because of the rapport. PERFECT casting.
If Tara's character now were still like this I would like her a lot better, but now all she does is get on my nerves. @alydances I think her character is better now, shes not angry all the time and hateful and destructive. She left Bon Temps and turned her life around, she seemed less angry and more happy. And she still has that strong core in her, that hasn't changed at all

@MarieFace When I read he was originally killed off in the books (When they find that voodoo lady's body in the car it was originally him!) I was very glad to hear they made some changes to keep this great character going!
