I think it's they're lack of preparation, I was asking them how practice was going, one of em said that they weren't finished and they're having a hard time putting the routine together. They were really busy that year, a lot of gigs.

i said it before and i'll say it again, These guys belong in the Wringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus, they do mostly stunts and acrobats, with little actual dancing. i would buy their shirts there. As far as Hip Hop, Jabbawockeez would embarass these guys. PAS have no styles of their own, stuff they do, we've seen and done in the early 1990s here in the US. This is a new era, in case PAS forgot.

Stuff in the US is indeed old, PAS simply made them 1000 times better by putting their own styles, CREATIVITY and ART in how to EXECUTE them and not some nonsensical stunts you see in other crews. Not only that. Some part of their dancing poses as part of the routines are PHOTOGENIC and pretty.

Philippine All Stars would've killed their performances if they were to compete in ABDC... I don't know who influenced who, but the Jabbawockeez and Philippine All Stars have similarities on their performances. In this video, they started off on how they ended it in 2006 just like in jabbawockeez's performances in ABDC. And some stuff like the motorcycle thing in 2006, Jabba had a modified version of it in the evolution of hiphop episode.... Really interesting.

Jabbawockeez have actually been starting their performances the way they ended it last time since 2003.

If you look at their performances from 2003-2006 they always start their next performance with either the same track they ended with last time, or in the same position they ended in from their performance from the last year.

So, i hope your just pointing out the fact that some aspects of their performance were similar and not accusing either crew of biting.

"phil all stars" if u are watching or anybody who are wondering why they didn't win this time. my observation: well, their performance was still amazing as they won in 2006 but i think the choice of music defers. in 2006, there was a mix of popular pinoy rap music that made it unique among the other competitors & also made a huge impact especially to the pinoy crowd.. come to think of it, "phil all stars"!

Here's the thing: Filipinos are probably the biggest Asians/Pacific Islanders to contribute to hip hop on a worldwide scale...and the sad part about it is that we won't be recognized for it for a while. Who do we have? We have DJ's (legendary DJ Q-Bert and the Invisible Skratch Pikles and other crews), dancers (Mindtricks, JabbaWockeez, Kaba Modern, etc), MC's (The PACIFICS, Roscoe Umali), and Artists here in the states. We have dancers like this group in the PI.
