Very well shot! Great sense of geography and danger. Action movie editing today lacks both of these things. I'm actually buying the UK import Blu-ray of this movie based upon youtube clips. The final shootout is amazing! Telly Savalas with an Stg44!!! Sonny Bono killing Nazis with an MP-40! Jewish actor Elliot Gould wearing an SS helmet! I can't wait to watch the whole thing. Looks insane!

Haha! I was in those streets shown in the film earlier today! My hotel in Rhodes is 20 minutes away from Lindos and it's such a cool place!

If you pause the scene at different spots, you can see that the motorcycles are modified 2-stroke dirt-bikes and not the true BMW's of that era. you can even hear the 2-stroke engines whine on the jumps! I doubt that those heavy WW2 bikes could have made those big jumps, quick stops, or sharp turns without easily losing control. Even so, this is probably the best "real" motorcycle chase ever filmed.

We go to Rhodes every year in the first 2 weeks of september. Lovely island, friendly people and we have walked those streets loads of times.

Superb chase. The whole staging of it in those narrow, claustrophobic city streets was brilliant. Perfect area for a motorcycle chase.
