@Cuzo03 Evie is friendly because he was hand trained as a baby. If you work with them when they're young, they can be great, but an unhandled frillie will most likely be skittish and/or agressive if you try to pick it up. It takes time, but hand training worked well for Evie.
HAha someones watching automotive tv haha. THats a beautiful friled. Do you grow those woms? I would love to see a video of how to grow them. I bet my beardys would love them i bet there good and fattening for lizards
does anyone know where i can buy hornworms in england?
i've only just managed to find somewhere that sells waxworms (yes i know they're bad for lizards) and i really wanna find somewhere that sells silkworms and hornworms, cause my beardie won't eat crickets and he seems to be going off locusts so i wanna try him on other things for a bit.
WTF every rep shop I've been to sells wax worms, they aren't bad for your reptile as long as you only feed them occasionally. As for hornworms they are hard to get a hold of in the UK and IF you do find any the will be pretty damn expensive.
hey whats up, i have to tell the difference, the difference between them is that tobaccos have a kind of red long slinder spikish then on them and thats how you tell the difference.
were did you get those hornworms? Are you raising them to breed them or feed them? And last are those tobacco or tomato hornworms? (there is a difference)
We order them from Great Lakes Hornworms, I tried getting them to grow to moth stage but haven't had any success yet. I'm not sure what type of hornworm they are - I think tobacco based on the bluish color, but not completely sure
We found her at a local PetSmart, only seen one other frillie there since. She was captive bred and hand raised, taken out daily and held/pet, so she's very friendly
hehe, it looks like its sitting there waiting for you to open it for em.

May all hornworms burn in the pits of hell for eternity. They eat my tomatoes and peppers. It's nice to see that something will eat them.
ElGatoLoco698 3 years ago
It's too bad those wild hornworms are toxic to lizards due to eating the tomato and pepper plants
utahraptr 3 years ago
i do that to my water dragon and beardies all the time lol
