  • very nice flying im a young flyer from the UK

  • i timed a yearling cock last year from 487 miles its hard from that distance even if it is a blow home!

  • WOW, thanks for posting this. Takes me back to my younger years. I miss having racing pigeons.

  • Hi from the UK,

Great to have three together like that, but i am sure you could trap better, maybe you could modify the loft so they fly straight in when they arrive home, dont know how tired the are after 480k but less than 1000ydspm is not a blow home,do you race/win longer distance races as the birds did look full of themselves in the Vid they were in no hurry to come down? very fir stronge birds in my oppinion good luck.thanks for posting you learn something all the time,

  • This is so amazing to me.....I know NOTHING about racing pigeons. One got lost and landed in the doorway of our condo. I located the owner, but he doesn't seem that concerned about the loss of one pigeon. I keep taking her away from here and she keeps flying back. I love her now and want to keep her. What should I do? My husband doesn't want her and all the guano that comes with a bird - even if I keep her in a cage. What should I do?

  • Very enjoyable, I love watching singles & doubles. I only fly onelofts & toss to train so I keep good quality in my birds. I have a variety of strains so pit them against as though I am a oneloft. I prefer it this way.

  • wow thats neet how u train yours to come home with the wislt

  • ok so one the race is a blow home as you got bird after bird or two your a mob flyer and had 30 birds away and it's a blow home.

  • Flying 1000mpm is hardly blow home speed. And we sent 15 birds away to this race (our fed limit is 18).

  • Well not real blow home speed but still. Oh 18 bird limit hey? Are you racing down south Sydney way somewhere on the coast? I'm in QRPF Fed.

  • i have been flying pigeons for 35 years and i

can tell you the whistling is scaring the birds. if you whistle when you feed its ok but just tone it down a little. you sound to excited.

  • Im over 50 and have been racing birds since my teens and it does not matter what sound your birds are used to they will respond to it, I use the food tin or whistle and they both work it does not scare them, I've won countless of prizes at club and federation level and yes after all these years it still excites me watching these magnificent birds returning home

  • whats with the wistling? i am interested :) i can understand rattling the fod container but not sure why you wistle?

  • Why do you whistle to a dog ?

  • Keep the good work up

  • that good to see 3pigeons to so close together at that distance you must have good motvation im a flyer from the uk
