  • @ilovemommy2 omfg i said the exact same thing when i first saw this i think shes mongolian

  • @ilovemommy2

Yea but to be Chinese doesn't mean you need to "look" Chinese. I mean how many people in the UK, USA, Europe etc don't look native but have that nationality. I would like to think these days you don't need to look anything in order to have that national identity...

  • @ilovemommy2 haha i agree but later on i remembered she is asian because she sang this song about an earthquake good song

  • Y must Nicholas Tse be surrounded by pretty girls who can be barely be heard singing

  • i always thought that was jackie chan, but i thought that it was a comedic actor playing him, this is the real thing though?

  • Hangeng had like a 3-second appearance in this video. But I watched the whole thing for him anyways :D

  • Does anyone know if this is available on iTunes under a search parameter I haven't yet tried? I'm desperate to get this on my pod.

    anyway..

    *fan scream * XD

  • 1:34 would get it. Definitely.

  • my favorite part is Jackie Chan. <3

  • i went to china like 2 months ago, and let me tell sadly that most of people there are fit, here in america we all are used to be fat and sit and watch tv all the time and they dont, they work out and have better foods, kind of weird ones. I spent a ment in beijing and i only counted like 15 fat girls, out of 1 million 1 saw there, beijin now has 15 million persons, its a very polluted city, and stinky if you ask me but it has a lot of nice things, if you can go there,...

  • @RoyTerrazas so true! they keep moving and sweating. lol

  • @RoyTerrazas You definitely should go to Shanghai. It is the best city in China, or maybe Asia. :)

  • @wildkeny I don't mean to sound offensive, but how do you know that Shanghai is the best city in China? I mean, I've heard only great things about it, but I've never been there. I usually go to Guilin. Have you gone to every city in China or something? Can you tell me what you like so much about it?

  • @jiaqianyin Well, 1st of all, cuz it's my hometown. Of course I will think it the best, LOL. It's undeniable that Shanghai belongs to one of the greatest metropolises in the world, financial and logistic center. And Shanghai is also a mixture of oriental and western culture. You could find numbers of colony-era architectures along side with tradtional Jiangnan gardens. And food in Jiangnan area is great. And we have sea food as well.

  • @jiaqianyin And compared to at least Beijing, LA and NYC, Shanghai is much cleaner. One of my friends in Japan also told me that she thought Shanghai is better than Tokyo, too. Oh, if you are fond of Jiangnan culture, several elegant villages are just nearby. And Shanghainese girls are hot, boys are considerate and agreeable, LOL.

  • @jiaqianyin In a word, if you like big-city life, Shanghai is the best at least in China. If not, that would be another story. BTW, I would very much like to visit Guilin.

  • this song is the best! i saw old actors singing and man! i go crazy!

  • JACKIE CHAN!<3 I remember this being on ALL the time and everyday. xD

  • We were supposed to learn this in school, but all the fit guys distracted my and my mate ;D

  • The chick at 1:43 is so freaking hawt <333

  • The Engrish version!

  • the person at 4:44...is that Lin Chi Ling? she looks like the actress in Tsuki no Koibito! ^^

  • who is the singer at 1:42?

  • @breekwhal

Zhou Bichang, a finalist of the 2005 Super girl's voice...(or u can call it Chinese Idol)

  • the guy at 2:02 is from a korean band so nara not the only korean

  • @jus2222

that's hangeng. he was in the korean boy band Super Junior but he's 100% chinese.

i'm almost positive that everybody in this video is pure chinese

as a country it would look bad to have foreigners sing a welcoming song, right?

  • @Cynical0range all of them are of chinese and taiwanese descent.....

  • @KoolJayJ Not all of them are chinese...there's one Korean in there.

  • @Appiebunny no they are all ethnically chinese, all of them are....... your confused with them being in othe countries..... they are gathered from all over the place, korea, japan, singapore, hong kong, etc etc.... but they are still of chinese descent..... the guy your talking about who is korean is part of that boy band right? Hes actually chinese, go look him up

  • @KoolJayJ I know Hangeng is chinese even though he was in Super Junior. I'm making a reference to Jang Nara. She's a Korean singer/Actress and is 100% Korean. She's just happen to be big in China because she decided to go into the Chinese industry as well. She appears at the 3:00 mark.

  • @Appiebunny so 1 non ethnic chinese in 100 of them.... meh they tried there best, you try getting 100 chinese stars who can sing decently..... not even Michael Jackson could do that

  • @KoolJayJ The full name of Taiwan is 'Republic of China' while mainland is 'People's Republic of China'. All of us are ethnically Chinese.

  • @wildkeny I know that, im chinese.... why are you telling me something i already know?

  • does anyone know what is the name of the girl in 3:03?

  • @1996layla the girl that ended on 3:03? that jang nara! shes the only korean in the video

  • Aww, we watched this on the last day of Chinese class. <3

  • It's been two years, and I still can't get over this song.

    I love it<3

  • R chinese teacher always plays this song!!!!! I think the girl at 0:24 is a really good singer.

  • i know she has a great voice

  • Strong homesick!

  • Aaah! 0:44 LeeHom is left handed :D

All the singers have such nice voices!

    Geeeeng <3

  • LOL

  • i cant believe thats a girl

  • These singers have very strong vocals. <3 :D

  • @sherrythegreatest This is why you never watch Chinese people from the West sing. Watch the ones from China and you'll realize that they have some very nice voices.

  • @ThinlyCut90 That is true in this song. But you may find them in others. I dont think people from western china will become famous. In fact, they never have the chance.

  • @jiau2 I think a lot of them don't bother with the singing and becoming famous thing. They're more concerned with living a content life.

I don't mean Western China though, I mean Chinese people who migrated to a different country that is not in Asia. I see it all the time on talent shows, they make an utter fool of themselves, which reinforces the "Chinese have no talent" stereotype that is prevalent in Western culture.

  • hot dudes

  • A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR ALL CHINESE!!! YOU WORKED HARD FOR IT!!

  • @cristinaisabeldiaz you must be a gay

  • @walkertexasranger33 actually no I'm not.

  • im 15 and i have the option to go to Hong Kong with My School but i get really homesick and none of my friends can go.. Do you think i should go? this song wants me to say yes.. i think we should go to beijing rather than Hong Kong it looks more musical haha x jokes

  • HELL YEAH

The chance to go to another country, travel half the globe and literally stand witness of another world?

I wouldn't miss it for anything!

  • Oh and the Chinese are real friendly, so no worries, you'll fit right in.

  • Beijin is very nice!! but theres only a few things to see there and do.

Hong kong.. is the place to go!

  • SInce I heard acapella of three guys from 超級星光大道, I'm crazy in love with this song. Esp all those popular beautiful singers joined together for this song, I'm so proud of them, so proud of us. I wondering who is the singer at 4.39?

  • I am an oversea Chinese. I watch this youtube many times before I visit Beijing in June recently. The moment I step onto the taxi when I arrived Beijing the Taxi driver asked me where I am from. I told him, and immediately he greet me with "Beijing huangyin ni" , I felt so touch. And a net friend who first met me also brought me around Beijing with kind hospitality. Beijing is really a lovely place and the people are great too. I hope to be back to Beijing again..

  • this is beautiful people. i am from ohio usa

  • yeah but with english subtitle

  • I thought it was being sung when I saw "English Version". This is still in Chinese.

  • It wouldn't rhyme if it was in English.

  • yes...and what is her name?

  • 5:24 - 5:30 =F.I.R

  • man one day when i get money of my own ima visit China. China, to me, seems like a very lovely place to visit. ima go there.

  • Hahahahahhaahaha!

You dumb stupid (racist?) bastard, they ARE in their own country, it's in China!

You ignorant schmuck, that had to be a ironic joke or something b/c otherwise if you're for real...just wow

  • Again, just wow.

This is not a respectable difference of opinion on a complicated topic or something along those lines- you are simply a terrible American.

I hate to stoop to your level, (as the saying goes "mud thrown is ground lost") but seriously, you are a disgrace to my country- shape up or get out.

I hope you're not 28, because with your dipshit attitude about the world (AND ABOUT CHINA OF ALL PLACES!) you'll be bitter, angry, and confused for the rest of your days.

    Shape up.
