To be fairly honest, GMs do have a way to appear, summon, and more. However they cannot just use these when they feel like it, they would have to get permission from someone of a higher department, a supervisor. While I don't exactly believe TooLongSlong is a GameMaster, he or she may be.(I haven't checked gender.) Regardless of that, its true that they can do this but need permission to.

GM's are sitting in one of blizzards offices and they are helping out people with there problems by chatting with them!

A GM may have a personal account, but he can not and are not allowed to do anything in-game on his office. A GM doesn't have any "special" commands he can use to help anybody except if u have been hacked. Then he calls one of the technicians to sort it out -.- all GM vids r fake just so u know.

I was standing there in amazement watching as that Giant that's in the sand north side started like smashing at nothing and every time this happened it lost like 10% of its health. It didn't fix my bug so I got the quest item in the mail as a special case. This GM had a supervisor beside him (he said) that was authorising the actions to take to help my toon...

@Smil96DK Competley Wrong, normal GM's are just people behind a desk sorting out peoples small problems. Senior staff can go ingame ect. they have been known to help out in bugged raids. I've seen outside org a GM turning everyone into different animals and other things like throwing them into the air ect. Now that was fun, i still have no idea to this day why he did it but Yes GMs (Senior Staff) CAN go ingame to help out and i guess occasionaly have fun.

GM Island was at one point in the game there are even few documented cases of on the live server doing a /who GM Island and it coming up with actual players who got there. Of course at that time the GM would just shrug it off and *Hey, Hey now. You shouldn't be here* Followed by getting a No Man's Land Debuff that would teleport you to your factions capital city. I have personally done the /who and saw it in person aswell as a GM in person.
