Jack, have you compared this t a Faustine Dx or Dx2 ? some people say they sound the same except for extreme attenuation levels where the Faustine is a little better.. i'm wondering whether it's worth getting on the Faustine waiting list and paying double the cost of the Alex.. sounds great btw..
Your playing is nice, but this video is useless to evaluate the unit. Get rid of the backing music and record the unit at each level of attenuation.

What does an Attenuator do?

It lets you crank the amp, to get output tube overdrive, but reduces the volume output to the speakers.
