@emogurlalex Well i understand what you mean, I do think about how it would affect my family, and friends but when i race i forget about all of that when its in the moment and someone stops next to me or pulls up next to me on the high way i just race IF there is not any cars or people walking around i wont race to kill anyone else, and if i die then that's on me but it's something i do to forget all my problems i focus on racing and nothing else :/

I know...I'm glad my big brother didn't die...I told my brother about it and how much it really did hurt,and he hugged me and started crying...he said he was sorry but I know it wasn't his fault.He crashed into that tree when it was raining...he should have been slower...He said that he's not going to do anything dangerous like that because he doesn't want to lose us either.I'm glad to have my big brother.

I do exactly this and i know the dangers but the rush is just too extreme to keep me away. sure my mom tries to keep me in but i just don't listen. i pray that i don't die in a race. I have seen first hand what a crash at 120 mph does to a car hitting a tree, its not pretty but luckily the guy walked away from it. anyway be safe and if your racing plz wear your seatbelt cuz you never know what will happen when you doing 120 maybe your breaks go out so have fun but be safe
I hope that you don't learn the hard way that it's dangerous. It's not always about you, or a seatbelt, or even road conditions. It's sometimes about the inexperienced person you are racing against. This was inspired by an accident where a mother was killed because one of the kids racing lost control and killed her, while he watched his passenger die in the flames. The other person sped off, and later claimed they weren't racing. To get from A to B faster than the other guy is indeed racing.

But many people are affected by the death of a loved one who raced and crashed...which is what this poem is about. Again, no worries...I just hope it reaches someone and makes them think...the more the merrier!

Thanks. The main point of the poem is that if you crash you aren't the only one who gets hurt - it affects those around you as well.
Is it risky where you race, even though there are no houses? Sure it is...if you crash, there are no safety crews close by.
The poem is just to make people think before they push their cars to the limit. thanks...
