I am born in 1962, I Iived this period by listening and playing Punk, even recording, enjoying the global atmosphere of this music. Still in age of 50, I am a punk rocker. But what is embarrassing is that my two sons listen the same music, I used to listen more than 30 years ago. In those days kids never listened their parents fav music. what people sometimes fail to relize is, is that it was mick jones who made the Clash so special. He summed-up the iconic, british invasion guitarist-rock star. he was awesome. funny too, & cool
Pauls bass has a ash-tray (a little metallic halfcup above the bridge) on his bass. No wonder he took it off after some time :P (its most unuseful :D)
saw them all, Pistols, Damned, Buzzcocks, Ramones etc etc etc. Saw the Clash quite a few times; still the best night out I ever had...the Clash at Leicester...wow!

I love this so much! I only wish I was born when the rock was born too. Music was way better then. We are surrounded by pop stars and Bieber fans :'(
