Left 4 Dead: Instructional "How to Enable the Developer's Console"

How do you make the console show up not in a window? Like I see some people have it on the top-left of there screen.

@lNickNackl I guess you could always drag it there and resize it. I'm not sure how to stop it from being a window, though. Sorry!

please awner me! i downloaded the game i did NOT buy it does that mean i cant open the console then? do i need to have the "REAL" game with steam to do that? thx
