  • wheres the chrome tips? lol

  • @Itsahick hmm, maybe I shouild do a Dual exhaust lawnmower part 2? lol

  • @xljimmy89 HELL YEAH! some nice 2-3" chrome tips would look awesome! might sound better too!

  • Love it! I have a little newer tractor with the 22horse twin. I'm so doing that !

  • Nice! I have the same engine on my Murray! I have a video up if you want to check it out.

  • It's a fucking lawn mower!!

  • @snaundersduu Good Job! You get an A!

  • @xljimmy89 Thank you!! :D You are going to sound real badass when you cut your grass!!

  • @snaundersduu You can only imagine what it sounds like with one of those sheet metal utility trailers behind it. lol

  • that shit sounds fucking awsome my ass is going to muffler man asap

  • can i have it pleeaaseee...that would be awsome to go to work in lol

  • LOL. Love it!!

  • it sounds good idleing but after that it sounds like shit but like wat other people say its hard to get good sound on a camera

  • @DeWitteB yea your right. It sounds sweet idling. It sounds ok revved up. I love the sound of the v-twin vanguards with open headers. They sound kinda harley like.

  • my cousins sounds way better than this ... polished tips and headers...

  • @bighead29058 where is his video?

  • Indeed, it's hard to capture the true powerful sound of an open exhaust via video cam. I put dual exhaust on my 18hp riding mower. It's v-twin and sounds much like a motorcycle. i've got a video of it on my page.

  • @razer1000 I checked out the video and it sure sounds sweet! I really like it!

  • i want it menn !!! XD

  • cool

  • @Mr6535 Thanks!:D

  • that sounds pretty beastly

  • @byrongondi Yea, I was surprised how well it sounded after I was finished. Thanks!

  • lol when you stop at 0:01 you can see the kids face ;)

  • @ipadize What? You never seen a kids face before? lol

  • my mower is identical to that one and i want to do somethin like that to it that sounds amazing as far as lawnmowers go lol

  • @BIGELK82 Thanks! If you do something like that to yours let me know. I would love to see it! I enjoy seeing what others do for there modifications.

  • @xljimmy89 i was thinkin either a d.o.s.s. or one on each side maybe with hacked up bicycle pegs for tips lol

  • AWESOME!!

  • No cats...U arent gonna pass inspection!!!! haha!

  • @BigHoss3030 lol

  • sweet!

  • AWWWEEEESSSSOOOOMMMMEEEE

  • i did that same thing with my old ford but i had stacks on it sounds amazing!!!

  • i need to change my pants cause i just pooped myself!

  • @nicely3147 I might have an extra pair laying around if you need them! lol

  • Daaang sounds sick! =D would totally mow my lawn with that beast!!!!!!!!!

  • it sounds like a deisel truck when its idling

  • Je veux voir l'enfant faire une dérive dans ce

  • @MrAlexcuff Google translate French to English = "I want to see the child to a drift in this"

lol, its not that fast, just sounds good! translated to French = lol, sa ne jeûnent pas que, sonne bien!

  • i have the same one...but it's dieing! :(

  • @scbjgs That sucks!

  • @xljimmy89 i just called briggs and the lady said she "didnt know what the torque rating is on the cylinder heads". which is BS if you ask me but anyways. do you know what it is? or where i can find it? this i a 19.5hp v twin turbo cooled correct?

  • @scbjgs if you go to briggs website they have manuals. I tried to post the link but youtube wouldn't let me. I hate that. If you have problems send me a message and maybe I can send it that way.

  • lol! thats awesome, i wish i had that much spare time.

  • @olliec360 You dont have an hour or 2?

  • WOOOOHOOOHOOOWWWW nice sound man...

  • @BaNiVoRbEsC Thank you!

  • Not too shabby

  • @mcconnell51 Thanks!!!

  • Awesome! It sounds better than my Porsche!

  • @BourneAccident WOW!!! Thats cool, thanks for the compliment!!!

  • I worked at sears for 6 years and I ALWAYS wanted to do something like this with one of the big tractors with the Kohler V-twins in it.

  • Time for some 4" tips

  • @monsterman261 I did some experimenting once and for some reason they sound better with smaller exhaust pipes. I did the same thing to an old jimmy I had. Small pipes make that cool wrapping sound when the motor decelerates.

  • haha thats fucking awesome

  • put a resonant chamber between the exhaust pipes. Trust me it will sound 10000000 TIMES more badass..

  • HECKKKKK YEAAAAA!!!!! Love it, that thing sounds like it's got a hot cam in it lol.

  • damn that sound grate what size pipe did you use and what engine?

  • @kidddogbites Sorry for late reply but its a 19.5hp briggs and I used 3/4" water pipe that I welded to the original headers.

  • doin this to my gokart son

  • good job man i have the sane mower but i have stacks and it sounds beast

  • damn that fucker rumbles

  • Sounds like a deasil truck

  • @Kawasakiatv1234 your a dumb ass it sounded like a straight piped v6, and your spelling isnt worth a picture of a whale and a dolphin gettin it on

  • @Super270hunter1 Sweet!

  • just FYI. Put a channel between the exhaust pipes and it will sound 10000000 TIMES BETTER..

  • is that the kid revin it

  • sounds like my old 77 ford 351

  • that sounds like the pup engine on my cat d311 generator

  • AMURICA

  • @DonaldHellsing American and proud!!!! They don't do this in the Philippines.

  • @xljimmy89 I know, there a poor poor country. I live in the United States and absolutely love it. I spelled America like AMURICA because it's how my southern friends say it, either that or 'MERICA

  • @DonaldHellsing oh I see, I saw in your profile something about Phillipines and figured it was just a typo kinda thing and was asking if they do anything like that there?

  • hey what size pipe did you use? i want to do that to my mower.

  • @dman6959 I used 3/4" pipe. Works good and that way if you feel its to loud you can weld on a union and thread on a typical lawnmower style hot dog muffler.

  • @dman6959 lol rednecks

  • dude i need this tractor to rev it in front of our neighbors house to show that fuckin rice burner whos boss. nice sound

  • @ccubsfan94 lol

  • @ccubsfan94 its got more torque...

  • @2strokedetroit sure. his piece of shit has no torque. well more than a lawnmower. the thing is is he sits outside in the street doing nothing but revving it. cause he thinks its cool. it sound like a fucked up cow.

  • @ccubsfan94 no I meant the mower has more torque

  • @2strokedetroit yeah. most likely. its a 4 cyl piece of shit. sounds like a cow getting a prostate exam

  • @ccubsfan94 now, dont hate on all 4 cyl. the 2.3 ranger gets damn good mileage and are great runners beside the occaisonal cracked head. But, they are NOT perfermance cars. And living on a farm, ive seen people shove there hands in a cows ass to like check for pregnancy or whatever, and it sounds EXACTLY the same

  • @2strokedetroit i only hate on the ones that put a shitty exhaust on it and think its good for racing

  • @ccubsfan94 im with ya. While I do respect there are some imports that could tear a mustang or camaro up, dollar for dollar, your gonna squeeze more power out of v8 cheaper. And I hate those kids who put the 8 inch exhuast tip and have a 1 1/2 exhuast behind it, wings on a front wheel drive car, crappy unpainted aftermarket body panels, and stickers on there cars and think that not only they go fast, but that people with legit domestics should respect them.

  • @2strokedetroit i was watching pinks all out and they were at the mile high track in colorado. the imports with turbo had an upper hand over the muscle cars. yet they all lost except for one. but he was disqualified cause he didn't have a roll cage. he was the slowest too. i forgot what car it was though. if you think your car can race it needs a fucking roll cage.

  • @ccubsfan94 were the muscle cars running N/A? cause is so that turbo is a HUGE advantage

  • @2strokedetroit yeah they ran. and they all beat the turbos in when the turbos had the advantage.

  • @ccubsfan94 yeah, them turbo 4's are gutless. HP per liter my ass, theres no replacement for displacement.

  • @2strokedetroit yeah. bigger the better i have a nova that i either want to rebuild my trucks 350 into a 383 or get a 454 for it.

  • @ccubsfan94 man Im a ford guy so i gotta stick with that good ole 460

  • @2strokedetroit nothing better than a chevy small block v8. look at the stats. but i have to say ford makes some sweet ass cars. the gt40 or gt is one of the fastest cars on this planet. and it is only a v8 from a truck when other cars struggle to pass 200mph with v12's.

  • @ccubsfan94 yeah. dad use to have a 71 torino 429 cobra jet with the drag pack. That thing, while far from stock, was a total beast. It was a sleeper, too. I wish that ford would make a new version of the torino, that was modeled after after that year. And I respect chevy too, them ls1's can deff put a mustang to bed. I'm also a diesel guy, but none of the new shit. I liked the 7.3 powerstroke and 12 valve cummins.

  • @2strokedetroit yeah. the new shit is getting out of hand. all the electronics screw everything over. one thing goes bad you have to replace it all. i like old. the older the simpler and the cheaper. and better

  • @ccubsfan94 as an apprentice at a diesel shop, the only good electronic diesel (stock) is the 7.3

  • @2strokedetroit i mean like seat warmers. sport mode. econ mode. heated mirrors. headlight wipers. multidirection headlights. avoidance systems. all that shit just makes a car more and more expensive. not only to buy but to fix as well. and with the more the tech the more the problems. and its something you really can't do yourself. thats why i'm stickin with old vehicles right now. the are cheap and the run good. and if something goes wrong i can fix or get all of my money out from selling

  • @ccubsfan94 couldnt agree more. Emissions laws make any new diesel a peice of shit mechanicaly. the best daily driver/work truck is a ford with a 300 inline six.

  • @2strokedetroit yeah. i have a 74 c20 pickup and a 74 chevy nova but for winter i'm driving my mom's 05 trailblazer with a straight six. its got some speed for a suv.

  • @ccubsfan94 Changed the water pump on an 05 trailblazer v6 i think and it was a bitch. I really want an 85 f350 single cab dually black 2wd 460v8 and either a 4 or 5 speed. Haha, but in reality my budget is letting me buy a 92 f150 black 4wd 5 speed 300 inline six that needs a tranny rebuild. $500. I'd eventually like to buy my uncle's old service truck, a 02 f350 dually with a service body and the v10. Only problem is it's an automatic.

  • @2strokedetroit yeah there a bitch to work on. i replaces the air filter. on old vehicles its a wing nut. on this theres like 6 bolts and a tab you have to get open without breaking it. for an suv its got some getup. but man i would take that 85 ford your talking about. but thats probably out of my budget too.

  • @ccubsfan94 the problem isnt the buying, there like a grand or two. the problem is buying th gas hahaha. a truck that gets 25 versus one that gets 5 hahaha

  • @2strokedetroit true, my truck eats gas and my nova dripped gas. but no more i just replaced the fuel lines.

  • @ccubsfan94 dad's 7.3 does surprisingly well. on a super great day it can get 18-19 mpg. remember, its a x-cab, dually, and a 12 foot flatbed

  • @2strokedetroit damn. thats good for a 7.3

  • @ccubsfan94 now remember, thats cruising down the highway at 65 with the cruise control on. Realistically, it gets about 14-15 mpg. Dont let people bullshit you about there diesels, they dont get the 20-25 mpg people say they do.

  • @2strokedetroit well i usually gert 11mpg in both my vehicles so im not to worried about gas

  • @ccubsfan94 the only way to justify a diesel is if you use the truck for nothing but towing, literally there needs to always be a trailer fully loaded on the truck. And still, when you factor in the maintance and unreliablity of new diesels, even that situation is a 50/50 shot. If you take off the emission's equipment, you have a decent diesel. The 6.4 ford's get 8-9 a gallon with the DPF, take that sucker off and block EGR and give it an economy tune your lookin at better mileage than our truck

  • @2strokedetroit I get 21.5 with normal to hard driving, and I've seen 24 at a steady 55mph. What's bullshit about 20mpg? If I could only squeeze 14mpg out of a diesel V8, I would just but a truck with a 350.

  • @SakoTGrimes you realize its a 10,000 + pound truck, right?

  • @2strokedetroit I did not, sorry I thought you were talking about a 3/4 ton.

  • @SakoTGrimes hey no problem. What truck do you have?

  • @2strokedetroit 87 Suburban with the Detroit 6.2! Best GM engine ever made in my opinion...

  • @SakoTGrimes oh, those things where made for efficiency. I'd be surprised if you don't get over 20 mpg cruising on the freeway. The newer diesels have much more power but just arent as efficient

  • @2strokedetroit Worst I've seen is 19 I think, and I get about 21.5 in town. If I needed to pull a trailer I'd opt for any other diesel V8 or a Cummins, but for economy which is just about all I care about, it's hard to beat. One day I aim to hit 30 on the highway.

  • @SakoTGrimes still newer engines don't get that 20-25 without serious custom tuning and mods, but they are alot more powerfful. I myself like 30 mpg though!

  • @ccubsfan94 Dont forget to tack weld a folgers can!

  • @4wallsnodoors onto what

  • that's awesome, good job man!

  • @aaron71 Thanks! Much appreciated!

  • hay chris brush sound s better then ur truck

  • @TheRedneckrambo876 who is chris brush and what truck are you talking about?

  • then why is there only one pipe coming off the motor?

    lets see the other one.

  • @tylerc1992charlo If you look closely you can see the other side when I open the hood. It is an oppose twin. Why would I tee 2 together and then tee them back out? Then lie on saying its dual? Look closer at beginning when I open the hood and you will see.

  • wow dude change your title to "The best sounding Dual exhaust riding Lawnmower!"

PLEASE SUBSCRIBE for awesome videos like this 1 THANK YOU

  • ... And that's why I'm proud to be an American

  • I am so doing this now on my little Ford mower it has the 18.5hp Going to the garage right now to see if I have pipes. lol can't wait.

  • @bbjsw10 lol, Cool!

  • hey i just got a 16hp briggs and stratton and i plan on gettin dual on it

  • @kingkey14 Sounds like it will be cool!

  • to bad its not a true dual.

  • @tylerc1992charlo Ever once in a while I get some idiot posting something like this. How is this not true dual? Did you not watch the video?

  • @xljimmy89 haha!

  • @tylerc1992charlo dude it's a mother fucking v-twin there not stacks and it's not a y-pipe and 2 separate pipes

  • Bitchin!

  • P.S. I forgot to say I will be doing this on my briggs and stratton 8hp and actual dual pipes on my 295cc snowmobile engine and then worry about putting them n something because sounds is better than riding right XDD

  • @xljimmy89 Isn't that engine an Onan? Yeah, they have a pretty sweet sound. I have one in my 318 John Deere

  • @gengis125 no its a briggs. They are similar engines though, layout I mean. I only wish this was a deere, lol. The 318s are nice.

  • @xljimmy89 Ah, a Vanguard engine. Heh, I'm selling my Deere as soon as I have it appraised bro. I'm thinking of getting a Taylor-Dunn for around the yard.

  • Sounds like an old VW Beetle with faulty exhaust :(

  • sounds beast

  • sounds bad ass

  • NICE

  • Hey could you post a video of your setup? I'm looking to dual straight pipe my craftsman.

  • @StanzelGames This kind of was the video of the setup. What more you want I will try to answer or maybe do a more specific video of it. It doesnt run at the moment but I still have it.

  • @xljimmy89 Did you use a T to separate one pipe into the dual? I'm sorry if that's not perfectly clear I saw someone else do that on youtube though.

  • @StanzelGames

    Hey,

No I didnt use a T. This motor was a twin so I ran a separate pipe from each side.

    Thanks

    xljimmy

  • i got stacks with tips on my 18hp v twin racing mower

  • sounds like a v8 olmost, if it was cammed it would sound eargasmic =D

  • shit! that sounds like a fuckin harley

  • HAhahahaha. The lil' Boy sittin on it at the beginning had a smile that looked as if he farted. Haha.

  • Cool! When it idles, it sounds a lot like a motorcycle.

  • ive heard better. lol no offence.

  • do you ever take that off any sweet jumps.

  • Hey, That's pretty cool! Nice job!

  • holy crap man! sure you didnt doctor the audio?

  • @ZaporojitZ lol, thanks! And no its not doctored.

  • redneck

  • @killeryo999999999999

    gamer dork-duh ima redneck

  • @xljimmy89 hows nascar?

  • @killeryo999999999999

    No idea, try google!

  • Respond to this video...

  • @freddyz9363 Yo

  • @xljimmy89 how old is this tractor??????

  • @marcelonasta The motor is coded 10-20-98 so its either a '98 or maybe '99.

  • coll i got one for free

  • Man this thing sounds nice but the sound kinda makes it sound cruddy, i bet it sounds alot better in person.... i thank you for giving all of us ideas to do!!

  • thats awsome

  • lol.. right on!

  • i did the same to mine but i took a larder pip and ran it outside the side and up alonge the hood 2 of them

  • i have the same thing but mine goes 30 mph and i ride it all over the place.

  • @zildjan5b George Jones does too!

  • would sound better if you didnt have excessive valave clearance

  • @hardtop123 -Yea, and if the left plug wasnt gapped .001 more then the right too, lol.

  • sound like a cheetah on cocaine lol

  • lol sounds a little bit like an old VW but with just half the cylinders :D

  • weld in a crossover, it'll sound more like a Harley

  • @snakesonaplane2 Harleys don have crossovers?

  • @xljimmy89 no but it'll make the mower have a smoother tone to it, like a Harley with bigger pipes on itm stock Harleys pop even at idle but not with the 4" pipes put on them

  • @xljimmy89 its the same effect as welding in an H-Pipe with a V6. makes it sound more full, like a V8. that should work actually.. fuller sound.. post another vid if you do that, id be curious to see it!

  • NICE!
