In SA setlers treated the natives equaly, whites and blacks went to school together. we never enslaved any of them until they started to kill our live stock, we never wanted any war between them but they killed traders right after making a deal. If we wanted to, we could have completely wiped them out. But we never killed any of them for the sake of that. note that in america 99 percent of the natives were wiped out, in australia they had competitions to see how many they could kill.

please dont try to convince me the blacks feel its better to live under apartheid rather than democracy. look at voting results which shows 70% ANC compared to what, 12% DP? 0% for whatever that party is called that supports apartheid. and R300 a month is not a lot. thats about R1.80 (less than 20c US$) an hour based on 40 hr week. goodluck raising a family and getting yourself out of poverty with those wages provided by a system set up by the white man.

Whether you like it or not besides the elite blacks who have taken over the country the actual wages earned and standard of living measured objectively of the average black has not improved.
What has improved among blacks is the feeling that there is at least opportunity for them.
But SA like the rest of Africa continues to decline. You cannot blame the decline elsewhere in Africa on whites - they have been independent for 50 years in many cases.

mate, south africa was nothing to europeans but a trading post in the cape, and a gold rush in the highveld. the blacks got in the way and the boer war started. when the riches would eventually even out and politics became more internationally focused, the blacks rose up through numbers and claimed equality. without the modern need for the cape and natural riches depleted, south africa is of little use to Europeans hence SA turns to majority rule - which is the blacks, by far. time to move on
