they're a lot similiar to a crocchè, it's a traditional italian dish :) we do it by putting in the potatoes pepper and other spices and in the center of the nugget ham and mozzarella. I'll try out these ones too!
@OnePotChefShow hiii, thx for this receipe, can u tell me, if we want to replace veggies, as u said, by drumsticks, do we need to boil them a lil bit? (to avoid half cooked chicken??) thxx
Wait sorry.. im confused.. i saw you put the potato and vegetables in...but they look like chicken nuggets when theyre done... is this wizardry orr.... i just dont know... how is this even possible? is it like a vegetable cloaking device? does the frying pan turn the vegetables into chicken? WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!?
@breakingthisdown Since everything in them is already cooked, You only need to put them in the oven long enough to crisp them up and warm them through. I'd recommend 200 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes - but keep an eye on them so they don't burn ;)
@MirandaAugust64 It depends on what kind of oil you use. If you fry them in animal fat, then yes it's going to be bad for you. But using Canola Oil (or other vegetable based oils) reduces the fat and cholesterol significantly. I also stated in the video these can be baked in the oven.
@OnePotChefShow canola oil is still REALLY fattening. it's has like 23% of ur daily value of fat (or something like that. maybe even more) in 2 tablespoons
@MirandaAugust64 Where did you get those figures from? If you are shallow frying, and heat the oil to the correct temperature, the fat content is minimal as the food will not absorb the oil.
As I stated, you also have the option to bake them in the oven. So it's up to you ;)
@OnePotChefShow ik ik u cud also do it in the oven. im just talking about the frying. and i got those "figues" from the nutritional facts on the back of the bottle ;)
@OnePotChefShow... or they have the option of not making it at all and just being happy with your vibrant energy and great recipes :) shieet i'm a raw vegan but i love watching your show :)
This looks great chef, but i need to watch my oil intake as i am over weight, 1. can i oven bake these? if so how much oil would i require on the baking tray? 2. can i dip in the egg mixture and next in the cornflour and bake ?
I love the inventiveness of this recipe! One of my ideas is to make Mexican dumplings which i am making tonight for the first time- (Involving tortillas cut in smaller circles filled with cheese, beans and chicken; then folded over, brushed with oil and toasted...oh and topped with sour cream!) Feel free to try and keep up the fantastic work one pot chef!
@ryan14ization, it went really well actually. I used Mexican rice that i made, and shredded chicken that i had on hand. the "fried" crunch of the tortilla is fantastic! I would definitely recommend it!
you are Awesome man!, im using this for my research homework for school and it it good so im guna try making the chicken veg nugget tomoz, keep it up :)
This is known as Potato Croquette in Korea and maybe in Japan, too. Koreans also add cooked ground beef seasoned with Korean bbq sauce. Yeah, cheese and bacon sound good, too. Thanks for the upload.

@Ashley5swara The egg is the glue, but you could use just egg whites. Don't know if an egg substitute product would work. If it's sticky it will.
