Up here in the Great White North this really does not qualify as a monster anything. Looks like an entry-level to small mid-range lift. Are those 35's? They don't look much larger than a 37.5". Hard to tell, not many lifted Landies o'er here.
@2bornottoby All you really need is the centre difflock which comes standard on the vehicle. Unless you are doing challenges or something, a full difflock is overkill unless you are a REALLY rubbish driver
@jclspedding centre difflock isn't the mythical, magical, wonder mechanism that everyone makes it out to be, it only transfers equal power to the front and rear wheels, which when engaged will just make it like any other 4wd that doesn't have limited slip diff, difflocks or automatic traction control. Without these 3 mechanisms, this vehicle will still only spin one back wheel and one front wheel when put in a situation where one of each of the front and back wheels are without traction.
@2bornottoby If you are a decent driver, you will have no problems going most places with just the centre diff lock. Look at events such as the old camel trophy and the g4 challenge - all done in vehicles pretty much bog standard (apart from pretty bits) with standard centre diff lock. Because these vehicles have a decent driver at the wheel, they have no problems coping with the difficult terrain
@rebal442 it varies from country to country, UK is pretty easier going on such things. if you make a lot of serious mods you should have the car SVA/IVA tested to make sure it's safe and legal for the road. It's a bit of a grey area sometime.
