I play talon alot he really depends on items yes but his autoattack isnt horrible. Yesterday i played as him and i was fed extreamly hard i converted eventualy from beserker greaves infinty edge and bloodhtirster to 2 phantoms 2 extra infinty edges and an extra bloodthirster i was doing 1k crits without my Q.

@drad9598 How is he not an auto attack champ if his auto attacks are increased by 10% if the target is cc'ed. Late game his rake is garbage compared to his ult and silence.
@LelouchOfBritannia his silence does no damage bro...also if u build talon right u should never use more then 2 auto attacks....one sheen proc hit then cancle into his q...that should kill any squishy. If your ever hitting more then twice ur a bad talon
@darkoni12398 His silence buffs his damage by 15%. With IE and Q, and if it crits, it hits around 500-1000 damage. You obviously don't know much about assassin champs, if you think rushing Trin on anything is a good option.
@LelouchOfBritannia Your playing him bad if u jump in with q. u want to cancle an auto attack with q so that u get 2 hits at the same time with sheen buffs. I never said rush trin. Usualy u wanna rush brutaliser for the early cd and armor pen...then get boots a sheen and then a bloodthirster...assumeing the rest of ur team didn't feed then it should be gg by then...it usualy is for me. Also the silence still does no damage...gives a damage buff for that person but it doesnt actually attack.

Even trinity is not a good item 30 attack for like 4k gold when you can just buy a BT or IE and just stomp
@LelouchOfBritannia Um the q should be used before teh ult since with its low cooldown u can use it again right after the rake and ult. Also the sheen proc literally doubles the damage of his burst because it increases the 2 auto attacks u will be useing...the one u do after his silence and the one you do with his q since Q is an auto attack....the finished trinity force is only done after buildeing damage for the slow proc and movespeed but once again it should end b4 that.
@darkoni12398 The combo for how you play Talon shouldn't matter as long as you silence or slow for your first step. But regarding to trinity, I find it such an expensive item and its damage isn't even that effective in the first place compared to I edge, thirster or even last whisper. Talon's pretty much a better late game pantheon in some sense. Pantheons damage revolves around his skills as well but its not like you wont throw in AA's as well especially with his HSS passive.
@LelouchOfBritannia But thats why the sheen is good early game befor he builds too much ad from stacking blood thirsters. It makes teh few auto attacks he does do double damage...and it give him the mana he so desperately needs. You don't build trinity for damage ever.

Talon works fine for me. Just need the right build and early game his harrassment is amazing. Thats jus my view on him i bought him yesterday played a good 4-5 games and i got 17+ kills in each with no more than 4-5 deaths.
@Saicofake maybe it is their armor? I would suggest looking at if they have armor runes/masteries or items because that can make talon's damage drop severely if you go with Colby's runes, that are flat AD, whereas mine are armor pen reds and quints
At lvl4 I usually got Q(1)-W(2)-E(1) and that is in most castes enough to burst down an enemy to 40-50% hp and with ignite it's a easy kill since your enemy should start running when he relizes u got awesome burst and then your W is off cd again.
Skill W-Q-E, I'm doing great with that skill order.
Well.. i might be a noob. idk but i have a crit chance page so i start the game with 22% crit chance. I build him dorians blade, berserkers greaves, bloodthirster, phantom dancer, infinity edge, frozen mallet. Ive had a lot of success with this build. i run exhaust flash. Its very damage heavy and you have to farm really well early game but once you get that bloodthirster you have decent survivability and crazy good damage
As far as the creep waves thing goes, I don't normally have a problem with one hitting them by the time I'm 13 or so, but usually by then I'm not focusing on creep waves, I'm ganking other lanes. Either way, I liked the video, I will say that Talon's CD's are very annoying, but if you get the Ionian boots and Ghostblade, you're going to be fine with CD Reduction. Also, went 20/1/6 today in a game with the 20 being a continuous streak. I love Talon :) and I don't build into 2 Bloodthirsters :/
@SirSquirrely Also, instead of Bloodthirsters, depending on what the other team build is, I usually go Doran's Blade -> Brutalizer -> Boots -> Trinity Force -> Ghostblade -> Atma's -> Black Cleaver/Last Whisper -> Which ever one I didn't take from Black Cleaver/Last Whisper. I've nuked down a lot of people with this build and it seems to work :D I may be doing something logically wrong though, but -shrug- works for me :D
After playing now over 20-30 games with Talon. I've decided that his cooldowns are his only downfall. I find that when I spend all my skills in a teamfight, I cannot run back in until they are all ready-to-use again. He does somewhat useless auto-attack damage unless you're very fed, and running back in without all your skills is a guarantee'd death. He's a good champion, but he HAS to have all his skills to be useful... in and out, in and out, thats all he is.

Not true. Talon is incredibly easy to harass mordekaiser. Silence on any AP or skill dependent champion is just ridiculously good. Silence, drop combo, walk away. 2-3 combos and morde is running scared. Simple enough, but against an intelligent player it's never that simple, regardless of champion matchup.

@xnoobxinstinct Annie and Brand can do amazing damage with just a catalyst and boots. That's not item dependant. They have great base damages. Obviously most champions need extra damage items but some are FIERCELY dependent on it such as Talon.
@colbycheeze I've played a bit of talon on f2p week and I'd have to say that his auto attack isn't as weak, Maybe they patched him or something but when I go my auto can do some pretty nasty damage if you get a little extra atk spd like a pd

Seems to me to be just as item dependant as Evelynn was back in the days she was viable.
Now she's not even viable with an amazing early game + good items. I saw a 8/0/7 Evelynn turn into a 8/9/12. That just says something about how Evelynn is atm - garbish.
And I'm not going to buy this champ. He looks fun, but Katarina and Pantheon are way better, same goes for Lee Sin and Nocturne. So I'm with Colby - all the way.
@colbycheeze no - xMero0 was right, he needs a new screen. you can't zoom out that much unless you have a decent resolution. My max res is 1280x1024 and I can't zoom out nearly this far.
IMO first impressions are completely useless. No one knows how to play him, and likely no one will for a while, not even taking into consideration patch changes.
ok I have some problems with your opinion, his w is not weak in damage, expecialy early game, it is more damaging then his q if you hit the target with both blades. it also has the slow that increases with rank. overall I would say hes one of the best assassians in the game and it not as bad as you make him out to be.
@TheRyanDurden Spellvamp works on all spells. For example if you get a revolver on ashe, your volley will heal you. So i assume it should on Talons abilities too. Im not sure how it works with auto atack modifiers.

I personally prefer getting boots, brutalizer, mercs, sheen, and Trinity. That's my core, and I do a shitload of burst (more than I saw you do in the video). If I'm struggling early game I buy a Doran's Blade or two. It's been working out really well for me so far.
@xXiTouchYouXx its like that what u want to look at is the top of the bar on the right and see how many mega bytes it is if the number of MB is goin down then your patch is working hope this helped
yes i had a good amount of money cuz i had so much time to farm up and sometimes get a kill or 2 but i allways died so i had like 1 kill more than deaths untill the very end of the game

Colby you say hes terrible early game, while actually he destroys early on. I out-mid the hardest champs with talon, and i even have won a couple ranked that way. Btw, merc treads help the most. :3

I have been playing Talon for a long time and I noticed something about his W and R.
Sometimes, they deal ridiculous amount of damage, and sometimes not even any damage even when I actually hit them with it.
Maybe it's the Sheen?

Hm. I actually realllly disagree with colby on a lot of Talon complaints. My w usually always takes out the back minions, his base damage is actually really high, and I dont have a lot of problems with him being squishy. I love talon.

Build flat ad runes and you won't have much damage trouble early.....
Also, w first. Always w first. If you build flat ad you can do a decent amount of damage w/ autos.

At least your beginning build. Boots first? Uh no... Doran's shield, or standard jungle build. Then build madreds. Wriggles first does mad damage and helps with his farm

SEe I'm trying to decide between getting a frozen mallet or a trin force.. or both? See the frozen mallet works well with his passive, but the trin force gives him burstiness. Also.. He's stupid. He said you level up your Q first.. No nikka.. W all day

Dude... You always level up w first. He can take decent amounts of damage deals a crap ton and his auto attack isn't bad. Sheen takes care of that. I go games 18/4/10

Seems to me to be just as item dependant as Evelynn was back in the days she was viable.
Now she's not even viable with an amazing early game + good items. I saw a 8/0/7 Evelynn turn into a 8/9/12. That just says something about how Evelynn is atm - garbish.
And I'm not going to buy this champ. He looks fun, but Katarina and Pantheon are way better, same goes for Lee Sin and Nocturne. So I'm with Colby - all the way.

@colbycheeze no - xMero0 was right, he needs a new screen. you can't zoom out that much unless you have a decent resolution. My max res is 1280x1024 and I can't zoom out nearly this far.

ok I have some problems with your opinion, his w is not weak in damage, expecialy early game, it is more damaging then his q if you hit the target with both blades. it also has the slow that increases with rank. overall I would say hes one of the best assassians in the game and it not as bad as you make him out to be.

No it should not. Are you retarded? Spellvamp only works on abilities that scale on AP. Talon is 100% AD.

@TheRyanDurden Spellvamp works on all spells. For example if you get a revolver on ashe, your volley will heal you. So i assume it should on Talons abilities too. Im not sure how it works with auto atack modifiers.

I personally prefer getting boots, brutalizer, mercs, sheen, and Trinity. That's my core, and I do a shitload of burst (more than I saw you do in the video). If I'm struggling early game I buy a Doran's Blade or two. It's been working out really well for me so far.

Played against Talon yeasterday and rushing a Philo/Regrowth Pendant + Seemingly HP Regen Runes, gave him ridicolous lane sustanability.
Played vs. him as Warwick forexample and unlike Irelia he just wrecked me early. (Though when i started on my FH he's fucked.)

actually i didnt get fed at all, i started like 0/5, but the game went on for like 60 minutes (it was a 3v3!!)
and so with time i slowly started to get kills and better items and i ended up like 21/11 or so

yes i had a good amount of money cuz i had so much time to farm up and sometimes get a kill or 2 but i allways died so i had like 1 kill more than deaths untill the very end of the game

sum: talon sucks balls and this champ is ruening the game atm cause everyone is picking him and wasting away a game for their teams... He is absolutely useless in a teamfight and not even one of the better one on one champs... whenever I see talon in my que I leave.. cause I know it's a lost game ofc depending on if the other team also have a talon in their team then it's just a matter of who of them feeds the least... Colby you say hes terrible early game, while actually he destroys early on. I out-mid the hardest champs with talon, and i even have won a couple ranked that way. Btw, merc treads help the most. :3
