  • It's is amazing how Stevie is always so sexy and beautiful and she virtually never exposes any part of her body. Truly glamorous and classy. Not like a lot of the cheap looks that pass for glamour these days

  • Not too bad for some one from Birmingham, Alabama.

  • Her voice is that of a angel♥

    Love u ♥

  • Best concert I have been to was Stevie nicks! In Newplymouth NZ she is outstanding :)

  • the most remarkable, gorgeous, sexy and identifiable voice of the last 40 years, male or female.

  • She Is Undoutedly the no.1 female rock vocalist of all time, sorry Janis you were great also but Stevie is the best.

  • A heavy song for one so young to write, I feel she has always been an old soul, with the words of a poet and the voice of a choir! Thanks for posting this..

  • angel , rock godesss,

  • i think in her prime during early Mac she had 1 of the greatest voices and even afterwards it may not be as powerful it just sounds beautiful nonetheless

  • Love the song, and love Stevie, but this recording is technically pretty sad. Heavy on the left speaker, and sounds like a tape that was played about a hundred times-Sorry

  • This song is a masterpiece. She never sings it exactly the same two times, but that just adds to the mystery.

  • You better put you Kingdom up for sale?.........Very poineant......And digging graves with silver spoons.....Most interesting.....Rulers make bad lovers.....Sad but true.....

  • @mrgarcia500 The pressure of being a rock star. Oh, just take a silver spoon, Stevie, don't worry, it's just recreational! Fucking bastards. If I was there when she first taken that shit I would've killed those motherfuckers in "authorities" who gave her the bloody coke.

  • OMG

  • I actually like the gongos (sp?) in this one. adds to the raweness

  • Stevie is great I would have liked to hear her and Waylon Jennings sing this together both versions are top notch Waylon liked Stevies song writing style so much he asked her to write a song about him and Jessi so she wrote Leather and Lace for them Waylon covered Rhiannon as well.

  • I never realized it when Rumours came out, but she is singing about her addiction to cocaine.

  • @Demspissmeoff yep thats what happens when you lover is Lyndsay Buckingham and he thinks u r the one doing the walking....he f'd her royally

  • So cool that her Dad introduced her! Love Stevie!

  • imagine the out come , if jim morrison and stevie nicks had a kid......how perfect that child would be......intellelegent and georgous.....

  • @MrRichBiker omg JM was total slime. No one could get close to him he stank so bad. He was dead long before he died.

  • Stevie's voice is great here, but for anybody who doesn't know- check out FMs live performances from around1976- it's mindblowing.

  • you have to undestand the song, you had to be there!

  • i love it love it love it ... i posted this on my facebook today ... still an anwesome song

  • I miss the 80s

  • @lavawax Hey, if music was great 30 years ago, maybe 30 years from now music will be great again! ...Maybe???

Or we could start a revolution now.

    Nothing like the present.

  • @holladayinnn Did you ever hear of hierarchical regression? or the decline of standards? Stevie Nicks created her own standard, being an original artist with her own sound. She was judged by another standard. If you listen to what passes for music now, most of it does not meet the standard of this performance.

  • @holladayinnn That would be great but I'll be in my 80s in thirty years...I'll probably be deaf.lol

  • Very Haunting....sister of the Moon

  • The worlds most amazing women I have ever seen who has with stood the tests of time. Where others have come and gone, faded into the black she has remained.

  • great song. sexyest voice in music. one of the most beautiful women on the planet! even at over 60 years old. when i was in my early teens, i had a MAJOR crush on Stevie Nicks.....i think i just had a relapse.

  • @68Wildhorse I have heard car crashes sexier than her....

  • @klotzstang that's fine. people like what they like. but i haven't. and if you think she's so bad, why are you watching her video on youtube? just curious.

  • @tedorcorn: Courtney didn't get Stevie's lyrics correct in Hole's cover. Courtney doesn't say "Ancient Queen," of course you heard Stevie say it in this vid. Courtney doesn't get other of this song's lyrics correct either&I could just never understand how&why esp. when Hole's cover was on I think the2nd Crow soundtrack. As much as I love them both, as female artists+original song/badass cover, I can't listen to Hole's without annoyance.

  • i hate this version with african drums

  • yOU KNOW WHAT... get your words right... It is Stevie Nicks, who gives a shit after that??????? DUNT!!!!!

  • I never pictured her as a bird. Thanks for pointing that out. I may be somewhat biased. I had a girlfriend for a few years that insisted I take her as many Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks concerts as possible. I was amused for the first couple shows. The only reason I put up with it was I got laid a lot. Now when I hear Stevie I just smile and remember. By the way the girl i was seeing became a drug addict and is doing time in for killing her dealer. Not all stories have a happy ending.

  • @morgenholz MUSIC INFLAMES TEMPERAMANT... DEMONS SEE THE HEAT

  • Not only instantly recognizeable but she sings from her soul. Her songs just get under your skin and stay there (thankfully)

  • She has always sung in only one key. And why does she always wear some sort of blanket? What is she hiding under there?

  • @morgenholz - I would never pretend to know every key she has sung in, but if you say you hear only one, well, maybe that's the one where she feels most comfortable. Blanket? It's a big shawl. She likes shawls and fringes and things that move and sway--big flowing things that make her feel like a bird. Sounds like you don't care for her style. Whose style do you approve of, oh, disapproving one ?

  • Stevie Nicks is way better looking and more talented than Courtney the Hole can ever hope to be.

  • It took me a long time to figure out this was about cocaine.

  • @zeze40video lol

  • why is that funny? because it is so obvious? Why lol?

  • I liked your statement and it made me smile.

  • I see. I have loved her since i was a kid and didn't know what the spoon might be for. Be well.

  • LOVE IT!

  • already sold my keys, lol/ why isnt it in stereo?

  • as i have said before most likely the best rock concert ever filmed, besides woodstock i believe this was one of the first concerts taped.

  • @yodavalentine

Anyone know what year this was? It doesn't say.

  • it was shot at the Wilshire Theatre in LA in May of 1982.

  • Youd better put your kingdom uip for sale :)))

  • i used to love singing this one so much :))( still do

  • hole didn't do too bad of a cover of this song, as much as a hate courtney love it was a decent cover

  • @ff9alexander

Yeah, but I don't think she got the words right which annoyed me, she doesn't say, "Rock on Ancient Queen" in the second verse.

  • I heard "ancient queen."

  • they dont make em like they used to.

  • I used to watch this everyday too!!!!!!!

Just wonderful! One of the best female singers ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Barbara

  • Hey maybe gwen stefani could do it!

  • doubt it

  • hey maybe not lol..........no one can sing like those of the 80s

  • Lovely song!!!!. x

  • that would be great to see stevie in las vegas i would love to buy a ticket to her concert here with fleetwood mac

  • her and anne wilson from heart top 2 i think

  • Maybe not the best female voice in rock history, but, certainly one of the most instantly recognizable. There is never any doubt who is singing.

  • @Gallagherfreak100 Dude I'd call her the best ! Just fantastic !

  • @Gallagherfreak100 oh i beg to differ with that opinion!! stevie has rocked the industry for 4 decades now because she is absolutely one of the best!!! she only gets better with age!!! :)

  • @dbritton41 she is the best period

  • she looks nothing like her dad:)... she looks more like her mom i think.

  • I used to watch this everyday..its great seeing it again..thank you! Linda

  • I heard that Lindsay Lohan wants to play Stevie Nicks in a movie. When asked Stevie replied "Over my dead body", So I guess Miss Lohan is out of the running. Personally I think Norah Jones or Mandy Moore would be a better fit to play Stevie.

  • lidsay likes cocaine to maybe theres somthing there..idk who would play her

  • I agree I don't like lohan she's not good enough to do the role

  • no one could live up to her in a role. Maybe Charlize Theron could pull it off. can she even sing though? HMMMM ;)

  • i l\think it is cool that her dad interduced her!

  • BRAVO!!!

  • I would give anything for that hairstyle!

  • Best video of Stevie ever in my opinion. HBO special from 1982 I believe. At her most gorgeous. She is my mentor for how to perform for an audience, even though she got the idea from Janis Joplin...

  • class

  • very hott lady

  • Stevie come to nz,,man she is amazing,is beautiful&that voice wow,,It was the best concert I have ever been too, thanks for posting this clip I dont have this one cheers xxtootsxx

  • OH soo kool her dad introduced her, my dream was when i was like 5-16 that i would be on Broadway and my Father would be proud of me.i was too afraid of getting my ass kicked fro taking ballet, etc

  • Saw them saturday in columbus.....AMAZING!

  • i saw them too!!! it was a TERRIFIC show!!!

  • This ws a great concert back in 1982

  • Holy Cow! That's some erotic technique at about 5:00 and the shudder type stuff at 5:40+ is great! A little bit like Hendrix's moves sometimes. Oh yeah, she was hot. Still a babe when I saw her this year. This tune is so haunting.

  • @gonzocurt amen brother. yeah, the thing at 5:40 gave me a bit of a shudder, too. holy smokes.

  • OMG i love stevie nicks I am wearing a fleetwood mac shirt right now!!

  • lol me too!

  • Thank You for posting these amazing videos, of the always Incredible Stevie.

  • Great song, great singer. Beautiful

  • awesome

  • Perfect.....Go stevie and your always perfect backup vocals....

  • The opening song to one of the best concert videos of all time. This is Stevie at her very best!

  • Stevie is so fucking hot....jesus, I'd sell my soul for that woman!

  • me too

  • Thanks for putting these videos on!

  • This is good, i also like The spill canvas when they sing it.

  • Greatest female voice of all time!!

  • thats is great that your dad did that for you its so cool

  • OMG how cool is that to have youre Dad give u an intro that in itself would be the biggest high...TMB omg

  • If you like Fleetwood Mac you need to check out the new Coffee House Gypsies album entitled "The Artist"

  • Not Mick Fleetwood on drums right? Just a somewhat similar looking bloke?

  • The drummer is Russ Kunkel.

  • To me this is Stevie Nicks at her very best. This entire concert video is incredible.

  • Not just a pretty face: wrote a pile of material for FMac, which included some of their biggest hits, like this one.

  • This is the voice that haunts the darkened, isolated and hidden paths in my mind. This is the voice and soul that draws emotion, passion and exquisite pleasure out from where I've buried it and forgotten about it long ago. She truly is a beautiful force to be reckoned with.

  • You are absolutely spot on !

I think everyone feels this way about Stevie.

Amazing because im nearly half your age and on the otherside of the Atlantic, in completely different circumstances, yet feel the exact same way and more about her !

This is a real woman. Love her to bits. Only wish they made more like her..

  • She is one of the greatest rock voices to me....!

  • Cocaine inspired song never looked better. Rock on Stevie. You rule!!!

  • "Follow those that pale in your shadow" Stevie, no one even comes close. She's so beautiful and does this song justice.

  • All Celtic women are Ancient Queens.

  • You can read. Can't you?

  • Did I hear the gentleman introduce Stevie as his daughter? God bless him.

  • yes that is the late Jess Nicks

  • "That guitar player" is Waddy Wachtel, one of L.A.'s top rock session players for over 20 years and a one-man guitar army.

It's true you can't tell it from this clip, but Waddy is something of a living legend in the business, he's played on albums with everyone from the Stones to Dylan.

  • Agreed, Waddy can get it done!

  • Lori is hot!!!

  • She is hot for sure. She is also married to Stevie's brother.

  • Stevie is great. The rest of the band is great.

BUT THAT GUITAR PLAYER IS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE

He sounds like a hyper kid banging on it just to hear it .

  • This is from a Live Concert Video that came out in 81 or 82...I'm sure you could find it on DVD.. I have the video (since it came out) and love it....Great songs ..I need to know...Gold and Braid and stop dragging my heart around with waddy watchel

  • Thanks, samanthaR1964. Do you know the name of it?

  • does anyone please know whether this is available on dvd. I have been looking for years?

  • This is awesome! Does anyone know what year this was, and if it was part of a program or anything?

Also, is there a clip here on youtube that doesn't cut her off at the end?

  • mrmojoriser - i agree. they dont even come close. long live Stevie!!! and the legacy of Jimmy Morrison!!

  • long live the QUEEN of rock & roll baby

  • So, tell me. Where is Duran Duran now? Yeah...That's what I thought. Playing at the openings of minimarts in the Outback.

  • Bands today don't even come close.

  • Comparing Duran Duran (who I like) to Fleetwood Mac is like comparing a can of Pabst to a glass of Champagne. Fleetwood Mac had a profound influence on several genres for at least 20 years. It's not about sentiment it's about enduring quality and passion.

  • lousy lovers pick their pray

  • You obviously don't know anything about her. She WAS the 80's.

  • Rock on and sooooo long ago tho seems like yesterday!!

  • I saw her first solo concert in LA. I hooked up 7th row center, just got lucky. WOW. How neat to have her Father introduce her. People were throwing flowers on stage and she picked them up and started crying. When she smiled she was just beautiful and warm. I'm glad I was there.

  • Superblondecypris is a little version of a Stevie Nicks in training. Watch as this little girl grows up to be one powerful Gold Dust Woman. Spectacular!

  • Fantastique chanteuse ainsi que son groupe Fleetwood Mac !!!

  • OMG....could not be described more perfectly!

  • She will always be the High Priestess of Rock N Roll!!

  • how did you get tix to soundstage?
