  • the only good part about this song is the guitar intro.

  • Damn good video--Damn Good Song!!!

  • And Dan played on Lou's 2nd solo CD, which I liked better than the 1st. ERIC, not every kind of music is for everyone. Pantera are great at what they do, but knowing Dan, he could shred like a demon if he chose to.

  • What if Dann Huff and Lou Gramm collaborated as cowriters, Lou singing with Dann as a backup singer and Dann playing guitar! Of course, they record it too! on

  • @MrMac1250, No worries. :-)

  • I didn't know Dan was also the singer. wow. Nice voice.

  • This is why Pantera created "The Great Southern Trendkill" because of this shit !! Thank God for TGSTK and of course Kurt Cobain.

  • im a beliber had to say it,,,,,,sorwwwwy.

  • @deathcert75 GTFO!

  • @Ashlynhuff-I believe it!

  • @Ardent15 I heard he keeps really busy in country music. Glad to know he is still making music!

  • Dann Huff is HOT! Guitar Genius!!!

  • I always thought Dan Huff looked kinda like Scott Bakula from Quantum Leap

  • @Pullwasthebest lol, I noticed that too.

  • The industry has to simply drop the Crap Rap and put REAL MUSIC in rotation

  • Great guitar player!!! Great band..... these guys should have been bigger than they were.

  • @MikeTuinstra - If you look deeper Mike you'll see why the "industry" dropped all rock and metal bands.....I for one and thankful to have enjoyed the GREAT 8O'S and that there are still bands from Europe {especially from Germany!} that keep the dream alive! Great tune Sabbatio, thanks for posting!!!!!

  • @LucifersLapdog Pleasure is all mine, glad you've enjoyed it!

  • @LucifersLapdog Well, naturally it's about fraud. What else? LOL! It's a business that blocks the art of music in any genre, and replaces it with manufactured crap.

  • This is good Video for the sound

  • Is this song on iTunes anywhere? I can't find it...

  • I first heard this on WRXL-102.1 The Home Of Rock 'n' Roll (Richmond, Virginia) when they used to have a show that came on Sunday evenings at 6PM to 8PM called, "Power Cuts". Remember that? This premiered on "Power Cuts" back in the mid to late 80s. Back when there was REAL music on the radio stations.

  • So much talent that was not noticed back in the 80s.

    Still great rock.

  • 7 idiots at the window... shoud get back to their 'borgir crap' and leave good music alone...

  • How do you make the heart shape?

  • Hmmh I'm 15 and totally in love with this♥

  • dans, the man......

  • Great song! First time seeing the video. I remember WAAAAY back when they did this live on "Arsenio Hall" (that's what I was looking for) and they killed it. As far as the beginning solo, the radio version only had the last flowing riff before the other instruments kicked in so it makes sense the video should have it too. Too bad the audio track doesn't line up with the video and WTF is up with the visuals?

  • One of the best songs from the late 80's and the album is a jewel - check it out. Great songs, performances and musicians... Dan Huff rules...

  • How can anyone not like Giant ? They had some of the most Amazing Music ever. This is Coming from the 90's when the Music scene was changing for the Worst not to the Better.

  • I believe myself that its just hitting it with feeling, playing from the gut not from the head!

  • no the thing is bands dont need to get the chemistry happening anymore people can do so much these days without any talent.

  • I agree. the solo should SO BE THERE. It was my lullaby as a child! Not a joke.

  • I agree. the solo should SO BE THERE. It was my lullaby as a child! Not a joke.

  • When I heard Last of the Runaways for the first time, I heard one of my favorites AOR bands.

  • Best of music- superior art and style.

  • It's a shame that they are so underrated!

  • He is one hell of a guitar player.

  • I have the tapes for thses guys brilliant guitar work, vocals, the lot I think these guys could have been bigge, had there been more drive & support by the label. I love this song but I love both albums. Where Is Dan Huff now? It brought back memories of

working in a company warehouse in the UK with the cassette radio playing this!!

I wonder if if Dan could be persuaded to do anothetr Giant album to please us who got into this group and i sure miss hearing stuff like this!!

  • where is the fukcing guitar solo in the begining its fucking epic solo

  • I think U2 ripped off the riff here...

  • why was this band forgot but people remember skid row?

  • Man, Last of the Runaways and Time to Burn will always be two of my favorite albums, period. Glad Dan Huff has had such success in Nashville but I really miss him as a rock player. He's one of my biggest influences as a player. As a singer, my God, he's one of the most underrated ever. Thanks for posting!

  • Yes..he is one of the most successful to come out of Nashville.......as a musician and producer!

  • Dann Huff is everywhere. If you looked all over the musical industry, his touches are everywhere. This guy is more talented than alot of the musicians out there today. To bad he doesn't get his dues. Love the guy and his bro. They rock.

  • love this song

  • I loved this band!! We used to cover this song from Giant back in the day. Such an under rated band. I miss those days!

  • N°1 on KWFM in 1989. KWFM was a rock radio in Paris, France. Now, all you can hear on the radio in Paris is BULLSHIT...

  • Barnstomingly cracking tune!

  • A bit unlucky they didnt comne out in 83 rather than 89. I'd rather listen to this than Bon Jovi etc.. on rock radio, same old same old with these stattions.

  • I remember this on the 80s radio show "Power Cuts" which was heard on then Richmond(Virginia) Radio station WRXL - 102.1 FM from 6pm to 8Pm.

  • *****

  • I love their sound! I love his voice!

  • Great song, great band, great singer! Aor rules!!

  • Anyway love the lyrics and the song.

  • why don't you have the guitar solo at the beginning?

  • @owlsrfun47 Sorry, but Ive downloaded it like this. Still, shorter video is better than no video at all!

  • damn good song,we all have heard the powerballad but this is good,

was listening to tim feehan song (Wraith the movie),

thnx to the poster of these sabbatio

  • @owlsrfun47 That is a kickass guitar solo... great song either way, but yeah... he's a monster player!

  • love it. Hello to all of you who used to dance to it at maxims rock nite in Wigan all those years ago.........aah!

  • me la pone gordisima

  • love this band!

  • Thanks for up loading this video. been hunting it for years, use to have their cassette and was playing it my car everyday back in then..love it

  • I loved these guys. For the time, nobody rocked liked these guys did. Thanks for posting.

  • gran banda

  • this is a real music!!

  • God I miss this type of music though. I liked so many un heard bands. People would say who sings that or who sings this. I was so into this shit where todays music doesnr even come close to the way it was

  • bana muito Fodaaaaa ,,,,,,,,,,sou fanzão

  • OMG I've been listening to this up and down and down and up for days and weeks! I still want to marry that blonde...! :-D

  • dan huff is a great guitar player

  • damn i love the solo in this song!

  • @kkellybass So a cool, fashionable image is not your thing. It is mine. Hair looks a hell of a lot better styled than not taken care of. Has more appeal. You may consider yourself Alternative, it doesn't mean the world has to follow.

Alternative is limitation. Take Kurt Cobain, good singer? Most of their singers can't sing for shit, as opposed to what we have here. Point of Motley Crue is Metal excess, Poison Party Rock. Vince Neil is a great screamer and Bret Michaels a singer-songwriter.

  • @kkellybass Is there anything more disgusting as a man who's ugly self hasn't had a shower in a year? No sale.

Giant doesn't wear makeup. They have well styled long hair and fashionable clothes. Their sound quality of vocals and playing destroys everything Alternative. Motley Crue has a lot more value as well. Bands like them always have an independent following.

I tell you what is posing. Being an industry slave, jump at every move they tell you. Liking this music is forever. I rest my case.

  • @kkellybass In that case I'd like to see you defend The Black Eyed Peas and Hip Hop/Pop now. You may go with the flow but fact of the matter is that it ain't selling. This stuff did. It was Rock music at the height of its popularity. Rock went gone with Alternative. So far for people's choice.

And what about 2 chord guitar playing, cheap whining lyrics and stinking poser society outcasts - aka the simplistic boredom that is Alternative? Flannel, baggy pants, Soulja Boy? More respect please. =)

  • what year is this from? o.o

  • @soulfulworship monkees sucked and people only like that song for shrek, monkee's are overated....

  • It's a shame we can't get back to talanted players and good music instead of this manufactured crap stars that can't even sing live.

  • @jeffbeckfreak54

Yes we can!!! And we will!!!! I refuse to believe that the crap we have nowedays is the future of music...Quote chickenfoot : The future's in the past!!

  • this is a good perspective to a premium quality band.

i really appreciate the work putted here.

  • without bands like this we would be able to listen ARfm online my fellows !!!

    ROCK FOREVER !!!! :)

  • The have just released a new song call believer 2010, no joke its not as good as the old stuff though

  • 1989 Last of the Runaways

  • I was as "psycho fan" of this band, no question. I just wish I had been able to see them live. Somehow I never did, which is not like me! I was Mr. Concert back then!! I also wish I had some live boots on DVD, but I've never seen any! I have some live songs, but not a DVD of a show. Thanks for posting these!!!

  • Agreed with the whole change of scene thing. But it wasn't Nirvana who stopped a good form of music of course. I'm not a fan of theirs, but their art is lyrical.

Thing is only the industry people are to blame. Nirvana is just a cover up. It's called mass media manipulation. They wanted to test different markets and so they did.

It's proven a big flop now because sales suffer and Rock, I tell you music as a whole has never been the same. Crap packed in promo just doesn't fly.

  • i agree with you. things just dont last forever. its a shame, but its true. This stuff just doesn't get old. ;)

  • Yup, but guess what? I think the industry would want to get back to something that actually sells now. Substance = longevity = money in the bank. If they don't want to die out they're most definitely in need of some major changes.

The good music should come back. As long as the crap continues we simply move away to the past and new independent releases. Those companies who understand the market have our sale and shall survive. Those who don't will seize to exist.

  • Hit the nail on the head dude! You ROCK!

  • @MikeTuinstra I have to disagree with you. Nirvana was the worst thing to happen to Rock. They're the reason why Rock went down the toilet and there are nothing but shitty bands out there playing shitty alternative music. The vast majority of music made after 1992 sucks unless it is made by bands that have been around since pre-1993. When's the last time you heard a guitar solo from any of these alternative bands.

  • @warrior12473 Sounds like my argument, because it happens to be exactly what I'm saying. 8) I'm not denying the impact of bands like Nirvana on the scene, it's been a bad influence on Rock music alright.

Thing is Nirvana were controlled by industry execs from the get. Popular Rock music would've continued had the natural progression taken place. But the RIAA started boycotting and marketing against it. They are responsible.

  • @MikeTuinstra Like your reasoning here. I had the good fortune in 1990 after a concert in Orange County, CA to tell these guys personally they had the best sound in the business. Dann Huff is a better singer than Lou Gramm and a better guitar player than Nei Schoen. KANSAS was my favorite band for 15 years until these guys. Their producer, Terry Thomas, is a talented guy-check out the '70s Enlish rock band CHARLIE.

  • @MrMac1250 Sorry, I am sure Dann would agree with me, Lou Gramm is the best Rock singer!!!

  • @54gravi sorry, see above. just noticed my mistake.

  • @warrior12473 nice said I agree

  • @MikeTuinstra gran banda casi desconocida

  • @PATULEKE I guess it's just personal taste. I am attracted to the emotional quality here. I LOVE Lou Gramm, but Dann Huff is and always will be my favorite singer and guitar player. I was also influenced by a personal encounter I had with Dann in 1990. Humble, and yes he would probably agree with you! More musicians, producers, and record company execs should listen to GIANT and try to emulate them instead of dumbing down the listening public with all the crap they put out just for the buck.

  • @MikeTuinstra Well said Mike!!! Couldn't agree more!!!

  • @MikeTuinstra I absolutely agree with you sir. You hit the bulls eye with every point, and it would take an absolute idiot (or a record company executive) to argue with you!!!!!!!! Well said, Mike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MikeTuinstra The record/music industry is as corrupt, greedy and controlling as any other big corporation in this country. They promote and push what they deem is popular and then exploit their artists until they are stale, toss them out, and look for the next lab rat. They care nothing about music quality, it is all a business and marketing. Too bad because the ones who suffer are the youth

  • An amazing band. They combine good lyrics, melody, musical ability and a hard edge. Why were they not huge? They are superior to most rock bands out there.

  • I agree, they were great. Although the single "I'll See You In My Dreams" did at least crack the U.S. Billboard Top 20 (landing at exactly #20), but I agree, they should have seen more success, considering their incredible sound.

  • I hate Nirvana and always will for what they did to this kind of rock

  • @Maharg23

bro i'm so with you on that. listening to people like you say that makes me feel understood haha!

  • A great/complete band, at least production wise. Huge vocals, catchy , well-produced tunes, great sounds, catchy songs, great riffs. Put all those sounds together with the right songs, what more can you say?

  • And the hair, don't forget the hair!

  • Love this song and this band!

  • Dan Huff is a monster player, kids these days should learn from people like him, instead of the crap out there today. Amazing artist.

  • @shagr14 im just 14 and think youre totally right in that-todays music is just stupid shit...just programmed at the pc :P

  • try out Zo2 see what you think they are one of the few bands who still rock

  • check bands like Crash Diet, WigWam, The Poodles, Scream Arena, Tara's Secret, Furyon.....the bands are out there and they are new..

  • Tara's Secret are great but there was something about the whole late 80s early 90s sound of bands like Giant that these modern bands don't have......

  • \m/

  • giant is just one of those bands you never tire of.... the more you listen the better it gets.... i wish they would come back, hit it big and show people what real rock is i would like this style to come back!!!

  • Actually, the ARE back...unfortunately without the great Dann Huff, but look them up on Wikipedia and you will see what they've been up to lately. Can we say NEW ALBUM RELEASE IN TWO MONTHS?? :)

  • Dann huff is really enthusiastic about music, gear and life in general even after all the years he's been in the music buisiness. Also he's a mo fo on guitar, plays many styles, sings great, and also produces hits for other artists ranging from megadeth to leann rimes. This guy is immensly talented.

  • This song got me hooked on GIANT

  • Same here...this made me a die hard fan.

Dan and the boys kick that ass!

  • actually AOR stands for Album Oriented Rock

as opposed to pop which is more singles driven

  • Yes, this the one that starts with the awesome guitar solo. Ain't it great?

  • if u love this sound check these new bands

WORK OF ART myspace woa artwork

    W.E.T. myspace wetrocks

  • They are sooooo good!...

  • Dan Huff is the main writer, producer behind Keith Urban now, far cry from this I think

  • i like that

  • My fave song from that album.

  • what does AOR stand for?

  • adult oriented rock

  • Nope....Album Orientated Rock

  • Album oriented rock

  • Dann Huff, Alan Pasqua...no more words to say. Great players and songwriters. Only Jim Peterick or Steve Lukater con do better!

  • Dann Huff inspires to play great and to go for great tone ;-) Like it, love it, want some more of it!!! Dann the Man

  • An amazing song from a GIANT! so sad that´s an underated band.

  • I think they are appreciated among fans and so on, the biggest problem is that I have never heard of them - only few days ago did I come across their songs, and what a surprise - the guy is an incredible guitar player

  • who cares about the labels??..is it good..yup..genres are simply of no consequence ..its either good mediocre or crap..

  • It's definitly AOR IMO but with a hard edge. AOR music in general tends to be melodic and this is melodic.

  • Dan huff the producer behind Kieth Urban is the main juice to this band. One of the worlds best axe men period

  • holy crap is there lead singer also there lead guitarist!!!!!!????? if so then can someone tell me why this band is so underated...... i love them!

  • I loved this song then, and i love it now, many years later, wow!!!

  • lol,,I got this on vinyl

  • the tone in his guitar solo is just sick.

  • Extremely underrated band.

  • i agree totaly

  • Maybe part of the reason is, they have a bad video director. I notice all their videos suck. This is an ugly video that makes no real sense.

  • All there vids sucks? This ons makes no sense? Are you like 15 years old?

    GIANT VIDS ARE AMAZING !

    Pay attetion fellow,.

The vid shows that she s a hardy, she fools around and there realionship it´s sinking...But he belives in her..

Want no sense vids try guns n roses..There s a hand full in Use your ilusion...

  • Sorry, I don't want to see someone stepping on a bug. I prefer videos like Queensryche & Great White made.

  • moost of great whites videos have bobby brown in them =)

  • Damn straight! I bought this oen when it was new on cassette tape.... WOW! Now I feel really old! LOL! Oh well, I have the music to comfort me anyway! LOL!

  • They cut out the guitar intro. :( Still an awesome song. \m/

  • Brilliant..

  • Ahhhh, love it! Used to watch it quite often in the past. (8-9 years ago). Brings a lot of memories nowdays, when i heard that track again. :)

PP: Love the fucked up video, ripped by a VHS (I used to watch it on VHS too. It was so classy back then.) :D

  • Awesome track

  • great album..................

  • Dan Huff is still a genius, great music the whole Last of the Runaways

  • Hair Bands - I BELIEVE IN YOU!

  • this was one of my favorite songs from my past. Awesome, awesome song.

  • And I'm a believer vettu. xoxoxoxo

  • You're a lucky one! You must've had a very musical upbringing. The Hair rockers like your dad and uncle had a special extra sense missing from other rock genres. I don't know if there's a name for it. Ask your folks about Z-Rock. We all lived in a continuous party back then that was surreal. Nirvana didn't kill the party; the business changed away from music to commercial money in 1993. have faith. ;-) There's room for more to come.

  • I heard they changed their name several times and the singer was critisized about his voice by so many people, he took voice lessons. I like this group though and I think they should play their songs on the radio!

  • What year?

  • erich:It's 1989!Plus, they missed the guitar solo off the beginning, which is by far one of the greatest.

  • try listening to the studio live version.. someone's been kind enough to upload it..
