@twiztidlestat I grew up with asian culture but I wouldn't consider myself "obessed with it" when I listen to music I listen for voice and sound regardless of race or where it comes from, there are japanese singers that suck and do nothing but copy american music and its annoying, the reason why DOUBLE is so good is because even though she copies american R&B sounds she basically sticks to the tradition of R&B music where as most american R&B singers have forgotten these days.

You'd be surprised how many Japanese look part mix mestiza or spanish/flip, what have you. The reverse can also be the same; I know a mexican lady and she totally looks more Japanese than I do. It's not impossible considering it was possible to cross the Russian/Alaskan border in prehistoric times; a lot of Native Americans have been said to have both Asian and European roots. :)
