Interesting...I noticed on his earlier videos with Homer, Jethro didn't use a strap...here he is. I think it was part of his shtick...to twirl the mando, etc.

Steve Goodman simply adored Jethro. He was the first to admit he was nowhere near the guitarist Homer was, but his reverence for H&J's legacy was very genuine. Steve brought Jethro out of retirement and into the spotlight, just before both of their untimely deaths, and hats of to him for that.

Steve Goodman is the only person I ever heard who came CLOSE to matching Homer on guitar.

@pholkiephred That isn't Homer in the video with Goodman, it's Jethro. Homer was Jethro's original partner. He died in 1971, and he most definitely did play guitar.
