  • the solo these days sounds a lot better

absolution solo often sounded like a mess

  • @nimpo46 it also sounded raw as fuck too which made it sound heavy

  • Muse rock the world !!

  • JUST AWESOME!

  • 4:07 is my favorite part !!!

  • muse muse muse

  • Sick sht right here

    xD

  • the laugh at 2:55 sounds creepy in a cool way!

  • i love this song! specially the bass! I was in Tampa at U2 concert! they opened the concert! it was awesome!!!

  • I saw them live in 2007! It was an incredible experience! I wish I could see them live again... :( MUSE is the best band of our time.

  • if i see them live i can die happy

  • This building has a capacity of only 2300... pretty damn intimate!

  • how new is this song

  • @tray10277 its from 2003 album Absolution :)

  • O_O

  • Incredible music!!!! Thanks a lot! This sound drives me to create wonderful music also! Hear some more awesome sounds over at my yt profile.

  • best live band ever to live. If anyone could prove me wrong i would like to hear it......

  • @ljanusch best live band to date. best shows EVER: Pink Floyd.

  • does anybody no what bass he uses here ... please tell me i need to know thanks

  • @beastahhboy Its A Pedulla Rapture SB-1

  • great solo!

  • when wasz this????

  • @Jose04811

    It was 2004

  • @sashakateirene cause i would have gotten pissed if i had missed a chance to see them....i wouldent have been old enough.....if your wondering right now im 15

  • @Jose04811

well, I didn't have chance either,

I love Showbiz, Original Of Symmetry, and Absolution's era....

but then I thought "Thank god I was born in the same times with Muse"

cause I still have chance to see them before I die.

  • who else could rite stuff like this tell me haha

  • a band called "exit calm" check em out!

  • their better then slipknot...lol

  • Fucking Amazing!!!!!! Wow is the word!!!

Oh yeah and im gonna see them play at Coachella this year woohoo!!!!!

  • These three men get a more powerful sound that any 4, 5 or 6 piece group.

  • Why would you compare rush to muse?

  • @sta0005

theyre talented but they have soooo many effects.

plus they have extra live musicians.

  • @ugenesfun

In hysteria you see many effects?? its only drums, bass, and the guitar.

Extra musicians, only Morgan Nicholls, thats only one, its still a 3 piece band, Morgan its a touring member.

  • bass and guitar have got a shit load of effects u cant play this song like this with out effects

  • @platnium1811

for that effects you dont need a extra musician

only need the right pedals, etc.

i mean a lot of artists do that

Muse need morgan when they play Take a Bow, Undisclosed Desires, Uprising maybe, etc.

  • i just said they use effects as in pedals lol i never sed they use extra musicians thats wat the other guy sed lol

  • sorry i get confused lol xD

well yeah of course they use a lot of effects in pedals, because thats the sound of Muse, its unique.

if you want to do a cover of muse you can do it perfectly, of course you need to have money to buy some of the things that muse use in their guitars and bass ;)

  • i dont see why people are thumbs downing this cos its absolutely right. they only have the bloke on keyboard for certain things, everything else is muse and their pure talent plus effects pedals...of course :)

  • @dmouland

yeah, thank god someone will agree with me :D

  • @Dantemxl and a vocoder. and the bass is a synth track.

  • @ugenesfun There were no extra live Musicians during the Absolution Tour.

  • @sta0005 It'd be hard not to with the amount of backing tracks they use =P

  • @littlebadge i was going to argue with you. but then i decided not to. because you're right.

  • @littlebadge There are no backing tracks, just an excelent sound equipment. It is quite logical they wouldn't sound like this with a little guitar and bass amp and no microphones near the drum set.

  • @blackspider0 I'm not sure if my previous comment went threw but they use alot of backing tracks man, The Starlight piano is now on a track. They did it at Oxegen and Morgan stood talking to Chris' tech and then came back on right before they started Man with a Harmonica

  • @littlebadge Oh, no, I understand that. I was just talking about this particular video... and this particular song, for that matter. But from what I understand, they rarely ever use backing tracks, since Morgan is very useful. It's logical they use backing tracks whenever it's to hard to play a song just the four of them.

  • @blackspider0 Ah ya, there ain't much in this, its just massive use of bass effects and engineering trickery. But as for other stuff.....Morgan actually just plays with alot of effects over playing some stuff. Like any arpeg piano stuff is track, There is actually a guitar track in Take A bow near the end.

  • @sta0005 amen

  • @sta0005 courtesy of a shitload of effects

  • @peoplemover95 Just wanted to say that.

  • @sta0005 Actually, there is a 4th guy who's playing keyboard and some other small instruments. He's mostly behind the scenes.

  • alucinante

  • How do they keep from falling over with that strobe light?

  • the only song that take hold of me and just makes me headbang.

  • Stockholm Syndrome and Knights of Cydonia do the same for me lol

  • shit they where at the wiltern???

I pass that place like everyday and never knew they played there

  • Matts voice is amazing. its like pain, mixed with anger, mixed with love. its like war and peace at the same time. his guitar playin is great too. awesome bassist too.

  • Can't forget the drummer aswell dude!

    Three awesome musicians!

  • A-motherfu**ing-mazing!! =D I'll cya u on Saturday Muse! =D

  • BRUTAL

  • is it just me or does this version seem a tad bit slower? at least in the beginning? but still awesome.

  • i dont think so...maybe :S

  • Is this in LA?

  • Damn, these guys are almost spot on live.

  • FUSE presents MUSE? O_O?

  • Thats odd... for a song focussed on the bass Chris wasn't in camera alot

  • it also has incredible vocals.

  • Sad story, homey. Rarely do they film anyone other than whoever's doing the mic. I agree with u tho

  • If I was a girl I'd do anything to marry Matt xD

  • mui bueno

  • MATHEW bellamy is soo sexy and talented

    3.06-3.45 that was mad!

    muse will never die out!

  • Nah they will never die out.

Think of Bands like Queen for example... LOL still going today. Genesis...

  • Matthew Bellamy has to be the greatest guitarist of this generation.

  • The Bass is Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad !!

  • sounds like a delay/distortion to me

  • a lot of delay, and i think a bit of flange

  • whammy?

  • Are there any ideas as to what effects hes useing for the solo?

  • i want this bootleg where can i get it

  • i can´t believe i was having a bday that day!

  • =O that sounded so good i shivered

  • one of the bestt Histeria's perfomance

  • ive learned every muse song ive ever heard on my 4 string

  • I <3 Muse but Hysteria doesn't sound so good on this...

  • That bass line = :O

  • Pwnage eh?

  • That was some bad guitar playing... He could do better..

  • indeed.

  • agreed... but it's irrelevant because he has & does & will...

  • que bien que toca muse!!!! :-)

  • the point is that u can improvise on the 5 string, it makes a nicer sound anyway

  • that was frekin awesome!

  • i can play it on my 4 string, whats yer point?

  • ha i can play that bass line on my 5string:P

  • Yeah, a lot of this stuff came off my DVR deck at home, and did a real good job at keeping the audio quality at the same integrity like it would be in any divx format.

  • My God that's spectacular. And the sound's amazing for a YouTube video

  • man that bass hit like a bomb i love this song and bascily anything they do
