@MrNationalWonder there's definitely some debate, but i think Mortal Treason in general is more of a hardcore/metal band, but this song in particular obviously has a lot of classical influence with the cello as prominent as it is. I think its more of a metal/classical fusion, but its uniqueness definitely sets itself apart in both genres. I don't think there is a specific genre that sums up this piece.
