  • top klass love it

  • awesome

  • That's fantastic - Kudos - TD would be proud.

  • great performance I've never heard such a perfect cover version of this logos part

  • Klauss i koledzy zagrali to 100x lepiej niz obecne wykonanie TD na koncertach.. moc analogu nigdy nie zgasnie :]

  • Nice.

  • i'm a fan of tangerine, but this version is at the level of tangerine, congratulations for this

  • This is my favorite Tangerine Dream piece and this is a wonderful cover.

  • logos band heavy metal from argentina

  • TANGERINE DREAM............ONE WORD, FANTASY MUZIK!

  • It's ironic, considering Klauss' strictly-analogue rendition, that TD's Logos tour pioneered use of digital synthesizers and sampling. (And it would be churlish of me to point out that a key element of the TD version involved running the bass drum output from an 808 through a delay, which isn't exactly rocket science.)

Minor niggles aside, this is a nice homage to TD at their creative peak.

  • @thisisnev , I think you're wrong, Klauss isn't strictly-analogue rendition as you said, maybe you're confused with "El Cadí" concert. Klauss uses synths from many ages. If anyone wants to know the set used in the stage just ask for it in this video or contact with Klauss in the webpage.

    Enjoy and be happy :)

  • Love this cover of Logos. I have been a TD fan for some 35 years now and these guys hit this on the nose... loved it.

  • Man that bass on the MOOG Voyager still sounds great. Good job guys. the only bad thing is that girl on guitar sucks and is trying too hard, Other than that very nice!!!

  • Hats off to these guys. Excellent!

  • Wooo! Glad to know im not the only one that likes this song

  • @EconomicTerror this is an excellant tune.did you know td did the soundtrack to a film called the keep.this song was on it.

  • Better than Michael Jackson megalomaniac zombie show.....

  • I get the same tingle down my spine listening to this as I did when I first heard Force Majure and Hyperborea (30?) years ago. Congratulations. James

  • omg... ur well clever!...this is one of my fave TD numbers...and you've given it your own twist as well .. good job!

  • Fã dos TD desde sempre e apreciador do "Logos" como um dos melhores discos da banda. Esta cover é uma agradável surpresa, parabéns pela coragem...

  • Reminds me about that Monument in Belgium, Atom.......I was there in the 90's

    Bruxels ATOM

  • Felicitaros por esta versión, made maestros de la música electrónica.

  • appears in the movie "the Keep".

    absolutly fabulous!

  • WoW ! What a great work to cover it !!!

  • 5¤¤¤!!!

  • Fanthastic,Fanthastic,Fanthastic!5*****!

  • Me encanta!!! Quiero llegar a hacer siquiera un cover de este cover. Excelente este trabajo, en original y en cover. Solo maestros. Gracias por mostrarlos.

    5 estrellas y agregado a favoritos.

  • I love synthesizers and this song, cheesy, but quality.

  • Awesome, favouriteTD track and so well done. Are these guys coming to the UK anytime soon???

  • Beautiful song...

  • troppo elettronica... secondo me.

  • This is something new for me as I was only aware of the TD version - great cover, and has a nice optimistic feel to it - 'three blind mice' if you listen to the main motiff !!

  • *fan*

  • Awesome guy's!!!! Great song to cover!!!!

  • Can't help thinking, too, that trying to emulate Logos with purely analogue kit is doomed to fail. TD were using at least one PPG Wave 2, and digital sequencers.

I do remember the 16 red lights along the top of Franke's Moog III, sync'd to the tempo - a truly minimalist light show!

  • What guitar part? I was in the audience when the original Logos was recorded. Froese hardly touched his guitar for the entire gig! Which was a blessing, after he'd treated us all to 20 minutes of slides down the neck the previous year at the Hammersmith Odeon...

  • I love this song and this is just the best cover I've ever heard. All the details are there.

  • In fact this is not entirely Klauss, what you`re watching are both the best exponents of electronic/ambient music from Argentina together, Half Klaus there is Ernesto Romeo (long haired guy) Other is Sergio Koval, met him working at VCC (he left, I was his replacement :-)...Hola Sergio ! te acordas de mi ?, ...Ricardo. Mira las cosas que uno encuentra en YT. Nunca olvide ese show en El Observatorio, ni los breves momentos de musica justos. Abrazo.

  • Wow. I really like the Logos song and this is not a bad cover at all. Sounds so 80's. Great job.

  • this is the best

  • The only thing i don't like about it is that dumb girl trying to do the guitar parts. The rest is pretty tight! The bass on that Moog Voyager is killer! Of course nothing can be as good as the original, but you guys did a stand up job and at least honored the spirit and musicality of the great TD.

    Great job!!

  • If I were traveling to the Stars I'd have this on the sound system .

  • Ausgezeichnet!

  • Goddamn good if you ask me! TD wouldnt do this better live. A great cover from the best era.

  • Sounds like the guitarist was almost taken completely out of the mix.

  • yea nice try

  • copy the TANGERINE DREAM is a suicide!

    however good...

  • Enjoyable, thanks for posting.

  • Excellent, is this available on CD or DVD anywhere?

  • You can contact with Ernesto from Klauss, just visit the Klauss webpage and search his contact.

  • id just save the video then split the audio from video then dave the audio to my ipod lol

  • Impresionante, he publicado en video en mi blog switchedonsynthesizer.blogspot . com . Un saludo desde Galicia.

  • Very nice cover all the details are there, 5 star!

  • |Better than the orginal

  • Logos was one of the first CD's to come out on the CD format back in 1986 and I still play that CD all the time. One of my favorites. Klauss does a great job here with their own touch on it. Great song.

  • TD - At Their best.

  • molto piacevole...ma ki sono i Klauss ?

  • klauss (dot) com (dot) ar

  • My Fave version actually

  • Good lord! this tribute is amazing! Excellent Job folks!

  • Well done, good job.

  • Bellissima!

  • Impressive!

  • Miren dónde me los encuentro a los 3 juntos!!!! Exquisito placer amigos. Espero estén fantásticos. Gran abrazo para todos. Felicitaciones por esta versión.

  • wow, i'm all admiration, being witness to ANY group attempting to COVER T/D! nice job! way nice!

  • I agree, the main sequence isn't quite right and neither is the chord progression... but its just so nice to hear this music... 5 stars!

  • Being that TD no longer perform this type of music in their older style I think it is more of a homage to what used to be than a copy. I like.

  • Yes well....judging by the hairstyles on show here methinks some people are stuck in the 80's. We all need to move on and discover the new music styles out there - even TD moved on - as most artists do. These guys even look like TD of the 70's...odd! (Even Edgar has now shaved his moustache!).

    p.sp I don't really mind - each to their own :-)

  • I don't believe someone should be judged by their looks. I thought this was entertaining.

  • @aliensporebomb You're right!!!

  • i think just the fact that the originals are in desperate need of remastering justify covers and remixes alone, not to mention the fact that tangerine dream is one of the most influential electronic bands ever but rarely gets acknowledged in terms of covers and homages as much as the pop electronic acts like depeche mode and the cure

  • Klauss sure has got the spirit! Now why couldn't TD have just gone on doing this type of stuff forever? Linda Spa begone! :>)

  • Awesome feeling

  • The sound of the Universe in motion--excellent.

  • Great TD sound lives although TD departed from it. I am happy to see there are people who keep it living.

  • I ordered the 82 Live at the Dominion in London of Tangerine Dream and this is better. Well done.

  • I ordered the 82 Live at the Dominion in London of Tangerine Dream and this is better. Well done.

  • I ordered the 82 Live at the Dominion in London of Tangerine Dream and this is better. Well done.

  • Klauss wasn't in the band when Tangerine Dream performed this piece, but a great cover.

  • Did you mean Klaus Schulze?? Klauss is the Ernesto Romeo project, not Schulze! :)

  • very goooddddddddddd

muy interesante muy calorrrrrrrrrrr tangerine Dream are the best!!!!!!

    besos

  • wow, they did a pretty nice job here.

I myself am quite experimental, so I like this kind of music =D

  • That is brilliant as hell..

  • Muy bueno este tributo a los Tangerine ¿cómo hicieron para conseguir todos esos cachivaches? (Minimoogs y demás)

  • As a very long time fan of TD, I must say great job on recreating this sound. Not many out there who would take the time to do this. Like others here, I'm not too sure what TD is doing these days to warrant our interest, but this old stuff is just beautiful. I would see you guys if you played in New England, US.

  • I saw Tangerine Dream concert London Astoria, England in April 2007.... Fantastic

  • Sweet take on a Tangerine Dream classic.

  • Very nice--21st century sound--its here.

  • Awsome!

  • If you listen to enough techno ...you will hear many samples from the original masters of eletronic music TANGERINE DREAM

  • awsome!

  • Now this is what I call music. Real analog Synthesizers and

creative musicians who knows exactly how to play with them.

This kind of music so called "EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC" will come back in the near future.

They tried it in the 70's and 80's but most people didn't get it or understand it at that time. Today people are more ready for

this type of music, because more and more music becomes

    over used and boring.

  • Excelent. Played by hand not cubase.

  • This is great. They look like a band, unlike the current Tangerine Dream. Hard to tell if TD are actually playing anything at all in their recent Phaedra DVD

  • I totaly agree mate.Sold my copy on ebay

  • wersja logosu wierna ale wolę oryginał

  • wow nice version of my favourite TD song :)

nice gear setup - congratulations !!!

  • Wonderful version of Logos - true music, thank you!

  • We have so much bad remix about a lot of essential music and usually they all fall bad, this is different, this guys just play the song again as close as possible, and even if they don't sound exactly different it sounds still hot and enjoyable, they just needed some little more help for the lightshow, a pictural presentation and some special presence to the audience and it would have been great

  • Okay, the stage lighting sucks, the camera work is marginal - no close-ups at all, the sound is iffy, and Sergio (on the left) needs a stool instead of a terrible fold up chair.

Why am I complaining? Because these guys are AWESOME! This is probably the most alive cover of any TD song, or anything cover representing that great period of electronic music. So many people try to recapture it, and almost all of them fall flat. Not these guys. Bravo!

  • ...ah! Meomories of "The Keep". I had that soundtrack album, but hurricane Katrina washed it away.

  • I've never been one for people doing covers of TD songs but THIS is AMAZING. Great version of this classic piece. "Logos" just happens to be one of my very favorite Tangerine Dream albums too. Great job guys. Awesome tribute.

  • love it! one of my fav tracks.

You can see my logos video.

  • Impressive. It needs work, but a worthy cover. Love to know how to play this piece. It still sounds so fresh after all these years...

  • Was only listening to Logos yesterday. This sequence still gets me everytime even after all those years..

    Great work here!!!!

  • XC lent

  • It's great when classic electronic music is playing a classic way! Analogue sound is always tasty! Best regards! :)

  • It's very rare to see this set and this kind of music in 100% live, with the classic analogue instruments mixed with today technology and authentic musicians. I know that a lot o pleople love and enjoys this style, but don't support in a real way, the artist need that the audience make a response.

The promotors, organizers, or city council don't support this if the people doesn't respond.

We need more people like you.

Thanks a lot for all post, guys!

  • just beautiful, great work guys!

  • very great!!! thank you!!!
